"Richmonde Hotel Ortigas is a well-aged hotel that has clearly stood the test of time. I originally booked a Standard Room via Trip.com and decided to pay extra to upgrade to a Junior Suite upon arrival. It was absolutely worth it. One of the experienced staff recommended a room with an excellent view, and the scenery did not disappoint. The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest. The pillows, however, are on the softer side; I personally stacked three pillows to achieve better neck support. The air-conditioning is very powerful—almost freezing at times. I wasn’t entirely sure how to adjust it, and it seems to be set in Fahrenheit, but it works extremely well for those who enjoy a cold room. All the room lighting works as intended. The lights are on the warm, dim (orange) side, which seems intentionally designed to match the hotel’s classic and cozy ambience. It gives the room a calm, relaxing feel, especially at night. One small suggestion would be to provide additional plastic trash bags in the room and bathroom. I use food delivery services quite frequently during my stay and prefer to clear waste daily for cleanliness. The Junior Suite comes with a larger Smart TV, which was a pleasant surprise. You can easily log in to your own Netflix account—watching shows in bed felt like having a mini private cinema in the room. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The gym is a big plus—open from 6am to 9pm and almost always empty. It honestly felt like I had the entire gym to myself, which made workouts very pleasant. The swimming pool is currently closed for renovation, which is understandable. While the room is generally clean and comfortable, it could benefit from renovation and deeper cleaning. The wooden doors, curtains, desks, and drawers are showing their age and would greatly improve the overall experience if refreshed. That said, for a hotel that is over 25 years old, it has aged remarkably well. The location is excellent—one of the best aspects of this hotel. There are plenty of food and convenience options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Pancake House, and more. SM Megamall is just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and commuting extremely convenient. Most importantly, the service from the staff is outstanding. There are warm greetings everywhere you go, and the staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall stay and makes guests feel welcomed. I will be trying their breakfast buffet soon and will update my review afterward to share whether it exceeds expectations. Overall, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas offers great value, comfort, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly recommend it to travelers who appreciate classic charm paired with genuine Filipino hospitality."

"Enjoyed our stay in this cosy flat. Check in was a bit of a process and it was definitely a small apartment but good enough for a short stay. The bathroom and living room both stylish and the bed was the most comfy ever ! I want to get the brand of the linen ! Apartment building isn't in the most convenient location but 7/11 is walking distance. To eat our you would need to go to SM Megamall about 15 minutes by taxi. Nice swimming pool but had to pay 200 pesos each. Otherwise a nice and relaxing stay. OK, for a short stay."

"The kindest hotel in Pasig City based on my experience. The front desk staff were very kind, and the way they spoke was gentle and polite. We also had a problem with the bathtub, so we called the front desk. The engineer arrived within 5 minutes and fixed it in another 5 minutes, even though it was around 11 PM. Their response was incredibly fast. I especially remember the FAB restaurant (for breakfast). A staff member named Mr. Zac was very kind, well-mannered, and spoke so gently. Actually not only him, but most of the staff were very kind and polite, showing that they had received special training. Considering the size of the hotel and the quality of the accommodation, the service we received was exceptional. The location is also very convenient, near Robinsons Mall and even connected to the hotel on the 3rd floor. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to visit again."

"We recently stayed at Discovery Suites Ortigas for a quick family break with my wife and daughter, and the experience felt smooth from the moment we arrived. It started at the parking area. The guards were welcoming and attentive. That tone carried all the way through the stay. Every single person we encountered was polite, warm, and genuinely helpful. Karl at the front desk stood out. World-class service. Calm, efficient, and professional. The kind of interaction that sets the tone for the entire stay. The location made everything easy. Being right near The Podium and Megamall meant we could step out for shopping or a good meal without planning too much. For a family trip, that convenience matters. Our room was spacious. Enough room for the three of us to move comfortably without feeling cramped. The kitchen was fully equipped for simple meals. We did not end up cooking, but knowing we could added flexibility to the stay. Small details were done right. The hot and cold controls for the shower, bathtub, and sink worked perfectly. No guessing. No sudden temperature shifts. Just consistent comfort. Breakfast was another highlight. Plenty of meat options, which I appreciated. A solid spread that felt satisfying and complete. Overall, it was a relaxed, well-run stay that worked perfectly for a family trip. Polite service, strong attention to detail, and a location that makes everything convenient. Exactly what you want when traveling with the people who matter most."

"My room selection was very spacious and it was great to see that I had a huge refrigerator and an entire kitchen area to myself, giving me the choice to cook for myself as all the necessary utensils were provided; this was similar to an Airbnb offer. The swimming pool area was quiet and beautiful, I had it all to myself. However, my problem was that customer service at the front desk offered poor service and had a nonchalant behavior ie my flight was late afternoon & I asked if I could stay for an extra 2hrs because check out was at 12pm and I didn't mind paying the fee based on a time basis but then she stated that I have to pay a full half day fee which is 12hrs fee which was ridiculous so I declined. Went down to the lobby and waited there for the 2hrs after which I asked if I could use the restroom then I was told it was out of use. Can you imagine that after spending so many days and money at the hotel but was refused to their restroom upon leaving."

"Deliberate attempt by the hotel to mislead guests by using the same photos of different room types for all their rooms. Appreciate the upgrade but left a bad taste at how it was eventually done. Housekeeping is poor as they either leave my clothes on the phone, did not change the soiled bedsheet, or failed to top up the tea. Read many reviews about the limited breakfast which is true, so I wanted to book room without breakfast but there's no option for it. Again you can see how deliberate the hotel is in their attempt to cover up. The positives are a comfortable bed and constant shower temperature/pressure."
