Yitel Premium is situated in a fantastic location in Kunming! Super close to Old Street where you can find tons of food, shopping, teas & coffees galore! The hotel was lovely - super comfortable bed, good smelling bathroom amenities, and complimentary water. We used the laundry facility and it was very useful. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but still everything we ate was delicious. This hotel's location makes it prime real estate, I highly recommend!!

Opting for Sofitel during my trip to Kunming was an excellent decision; I was thoroughly impressed. The lobby was impeccably clean and spacious, making for a pleasant first impression. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient in handling requests, showing great attention to detail. A special shout-out to Mia, whose warm and thoughtful service truly embodied the 'excellent service' that guests often mention – she absolutely lived up to the hype. The bedding in the room was incredibly soft and comfortable, perfect for relaxation, and the quiet nights ensured a good rest. The hotel's prime downtown location made it convenient for catching taxis and exploring the shopping districts. With a perfect balance of great facilities and outstanding service, my stay was exceptionally comfortable. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation when I visit Kunming again, and I'll be sure to rebook.

Fantastic! When our car arrived at the entrance, the doorman, Guo Daqian, was incredibly enthusiastic. He helped us with our luggage, assisted with getting a taxi, and reminded us of travel precautions. The front desk staff, Xie Jialan, was warm and thoughtful, providing a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities. The staff in the executive lounge were exceptional! I didn't catch their names, but they were meticulous in welcoming guests and providing service. The housekeeping auntie was very polite and her cleaning was timely and thorough. Our butler, Ms. Bi, provided comprehensive service throughout our stay, always responsive to our requests and demonstrating high professionalism. Hotel facilities and breakfast were first-class.

Coming to Kunming Paperman, I realized just how competitive hotel service can be! Let's start with the human touch: 1. They set up a WeChat group for butler service; upon arrival, the butler met me downstairs. 2. A beautiful welcome flower basket. 3. Whether I was out or in the evening, they'd let me pre-select afternoon tea snacks and deliver them to my room. 4. When I accidentally scraped my foot outside, they quickly provided iodine swabs and Yunnan Baiyao adhesive bandages. 5. I unknowingly left my bracelet in the restaurant in the morning; when I reported it at 10 PM, the butler team returned it to my room in 13 minutes – incredibly efficient and well-organized. 6. They proactively offered daily linen and duvet cover changes. 7. Every time I passed the front desk or saw hotel staff, they were always smiling and greeted me warmly. 8. Breakfast was available until 1 PM, plus afternoon tea and late-night snacks, truly allowing for sleep flexibility and no worries about food. Now for the hardware and details: 1. Full set of caviar toiletries – excellent to use. 2. The vanity came equipped with cotton facial towels, mouthwash, earplugs, etc. 3. Dyson hairdryer; after washing my hair with caviar shampoo, it was so smooth I didn't even need a comb. 4. Truly blackout electric curtains. 5. The latex memory foam pillow was genuinely comfortable. 6. Both the overhead rain shower and wall-mounted shower could be selected to run simultaneously with a button; the temperature was stable and water flow abundant, making showering a real pleasure. 7. The rooftop infinity pool is great for photos, and the design and decor of the restaurant and floors are thoughtfully done... There's so much more I could write; it's got everything a star-rated hotel room service should have. The only flaw was an uncontrollable power outage in the evening, leading to the elevators being out of service for several tens of minutes? But all things considered, that's completely insignificant. I love this level of competitive hotel service, and I'll definitely choose Paperman again next time I'm in Kunming!

Our stay was excellent! The front desk staff, especially Liz, were incredibly welcoming and answered all our questions, including detailed recommendations for nearby restaurants. We would definitely choose to stay here again. The hotel's location is fantastic, with department stores nearby for easy shopping. We had previously stayed one night at another hotel near Cuihu in the old town, but found it inconvenient and uncomfortable. This hotel, on the other hand, has a much wider range of facilities and even offers good nightlife options. By the way, the Ersi noodles at the hotel breakfast were absolutely delicious!
