Excellent Hotel. The location is very convenient with a subway next to it, Orchard Rd for shopping and restaurants and plenty of shopping malls. The best of all is the rooftop Pool and the views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is super clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. We highly recommend it.

The price is very affordable, especially considering the quality of the service and cleanliness, so it offers great value for money. The place is very clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels fresh and comfortable with a pleasant, nice smell throughout the property. The staff are exceptionally friendly, polite, and helpful, always greeting guests with a warm smile and making sure we felt welcome. What made my stay even more special was the birthday surprise. The staff kindly prepared a free birthday meal, ice cream, and even brought out a delicious cake with candles, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It truly made my day and showed how much they care about their guests. Another fun and unique feature was the robots, which were very interesting and added a modern, enjoyable touch to the experience. Overall good hotel, good location reasonable price would certainly come back! Pro: Well maintained room, good AC, comfortable bedding, strong shower; all basic amenities provided. Good room insulation also, very quite despite facing a highway... Only cons is the rooftop pool which is surrounded by too noisy AC motors and no pool towels are provided by hotel, so very unpleasant experience! However you can go up once just to look at SG skyline, quite nice view!

As a solo traveller coming to Singapore for 1 night transit, I was honestly quite happy with my stay here. The capsule was cozy and comfortable for a short stay, location was super convenient opposite Bugis MRT with a lot of food options. Felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay 👌

A Remarkable Stay at Orchard Hotel Singapore Check-in was seamless, and I was personally welcomed by the lovely Qui Yun. She was courteous, warm, and genuinely helpful. When I inquired about rooms with a bathtub, she promptly arranged a Premier room upgrade. A thoughtful touch that set the tone for my restful retreat. It was a much-needed solo retreat, peaceful, pleasant, and quiet. The Premier room offered the tranquility I craved, perfectly complemented by a sumptuous halal breakfast buffet. Highlights included the fragrant nasi lemak, comforting porridge, delectable dumplings, and an unexpectedly delightful creamed spinach. The toilet was immaculately clean and stocked with essential amenities (shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, shower cap, vanity kit, and toothbrushes.) The rainfall shower was sublime, with excellent water pressure and perfect temperature control. I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing soak in the bathtub. Situated in the heart of Orchard Road, the hotel’s location was perfect. With an abundance of malls and halal eateries just steps away, everything I needed was within easy reach. Checkout was a breeze, handled by Abby, another sweetheart whose warmth and efficiency made the end of my stay as pleasant as the beginning. I didn’t take any photos. I was so absorbed in enjoying my personal space. For authentic visuals, please refer to the hotel’s official photos and those shared by other reviewers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- However, i still feel there are room for improvements. I have a few thoughtful upgrades that I believe, could elevate the experience further, even for a five-star hotel. In-Room Water System: Instead of bottled water, a 24-hour in-room water filtration or dispenser would offer greater convenience and sustainability. Streaming Convenience: It would be more seamless if Chromecast and Netflix were readily available in-room without the need for deposits or extra steps. I opted not to use Chromecast because I already had Netflix on my phone and didn’t want the hassle. Bathrobes on Demand: Bathrobes should be readily available in all rooms to better reflect five-star expectations. -----------‐-------------------------------------------------------------------- Final Thoughts: Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time, thanks to the thoughtful staff, serene setting, delicious breakfast, and unbeatable location. With a few refinements, especially an in-room water solution, streamlined streaming options, and readily available bathrobes, it would be absolutely flawless. I can’t wait to come back.

Everything was perfect during my stay. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. A last minute decision for a 1 night staycation for 2 adults & 2 kids. Location: About 10-15mins walk away from Bugis MRT station. Lots of eateries and restaurants near by, very near to Haji lane for some unique shopping buys. Near Kampong Glam to enjoy the vibes. Hotel: 2 Small building, one main building with lobby and swimming pool of the 5th level, there is a small lift to bring you up. Another building with only rooms, no lift, and we stay on the 2nd level. There is a small swimming pool, but it was crowded, so we did not go swimming. Room: Room is big and spacious, the kids can really run while in the room. The bunk bed with the slide are their favourite. The bunk bed is big, could sleep 2 kids on 1 bed. The room also comes with a big bathtub. Cleanliness for the toilet and beds are good but the floor is a little dirty, with some hair strands around. There is capsule coffee and tea, as well as 4 bottles of water in the room. Basic amenities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, shampoo and shower gel provided. They even includes bath salts if you want to soak in the bathtub. This is really a plus for us. Overall, an enjoyable stay, price is a little high and no breakfast included, but the kids love it, so no complains.

Great
GGuest UserThe Shangri-La Singapore boasts an excellent location, offering a serene and elegant environment with beautiful garden views. The check-in experience is relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, with a full range of toiletries provided. The overall service is attentive and thoughtful, with warm and polite staff. The breakfast selection is extensive. The only minor drawback is that some facilities are slightly older, but they are well-maintained and clean, which doesn't affect the stay at all. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it a great choice for a trip.
GGuest UserI stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller.
The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right downstairs and Lau Pa Sat nearby, making dining very convenient. The decor is modern, and there's even a small kitchenette. The best part is being able to go up to the 51st floor for amazing views of Singapore.
--chenchen-The hotel is quite new overall, and the location is super convenient. I only stayed one night for a city layover, so here are the pros and cons:
**Pros:**
1. It's very easy to get to all the attractions, many are within walking distance. It's also close to the City Hall MRT station, and popular internet-famous restaurants and coconut milk tea shops are nearby.
2. We checked in with our child, and the staff immediately gave us a little snack bag for the kids. While it's not a family-themed hotel, it made a better impression than some dedicated family hotels.
**Minor Cons (not dealbreakers):**
1. We were given an adjoining room, which made me feel quite insecure. I actually moved the coffee table to block the door before I could sleep.
2. The toilet paper in the bathroom was very sparse! And the toilet flush button was incredibly, incredibly hard to press – you needed a lot of force. We initially thought it was broken.
3. We'd just spent three nights in Sentosa where the minibar was fully stocked and complimentary every day. In contrast, this hotel, at a similar price point, had an empty fridge, which was a bit of a shock. It really hit home that 'it's hard to go from luxury to frugality.'
4. Perhaps it's because efficiency is so high back home, but checking into hotels in Singapore feels incredibly slow. My child kept asking when we would finally be done.
**Overall:** I'd still recommend this hotel for business travelers and tourists.
GGuest UserSurprised about hotel room upgrade from queen size bed to king size bed! Room was spacious enough to put several large luggages together on the floor. The amazing location juz opposite Takashimaya and Paragon and mosque@Orchard Road. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and approachable. Asian buffet style breakfast@Eden restaurant - normally can only find plain porridge but here surprisingly we found delicious fish porridge with no fishy smell! Thank you, Pullman hotel for excellent services.
YYaoziCatherineThe location is quite convenient, and there's a free laundry room on the first floor. However, there's only one washer and one dryer, so you might have to queue up in the evenings. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very polite and enthusiastic. The room is on the smaller side, but clean, and probably best suited for one person. For two people, you'd likely struggle to open your suitcases. The downside is that there's a restaurant on the first floor, and the corridor on the second floor gets quite smoky during dinner time.
SSheilaOSheilaRelaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.
Really good rooms with luscious pillows. The tub was heavenly. The pool was packed with kids but enjoyed my time there to sleep, think and do almost nothing. 3 nights.
My only 2 gripes : no smoking room that's enjoyable to be in, and that their coffee is average.
I'll definitely give this a 5 star rating for peace, comfort and joy at a decent price.
AAnonymous UserThe room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and check-in was efficient. The location is convenient for getting around, and overall, it offers great value for money. My stay was very pleasant and I'd recommend it.
JJay Sae LeeWe were going to store our luggage before checking in, but luckily the front desk staff Mr. Faddilli assisted us for an early check in. We were very happy for the early check in. The hotel location is superb and the lobby is very spacious. But there were not much amenities provided for a 4 star hotel. Overall we are satisfied.
AAnonymous UserUgh, I forgot to take photos, so I'll use some random ones instead. First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
