"We stayed 2 nights at Chiayi Hotel. The receptionist was helpful when we arrived at night. The parking space for cars is two blocks away and we had to walk for a while but that’s wasn’t a big deal. The hotel is about 800m to the train station or 15 mins by walking. The breakfast was okay. We opted for vegetarian meals. All in all, we would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Chiayi"

"Orange hotel wenhua is located nearby wenhua road night market, location is convenient. I book room for 3, the bed is comfortable with a soft comforter. Downstairs have one convenient store. Breakfast buffet is good with multiple choice. Have turkey rice, and is so good."

"Chiayi is a quiet town on the edge of alishan mountains, as such there are not many major shops and eateries around. South Urban is a luxurious hotel standing in the middle of the quiet town. The popular food and night market are within 15min walking distance from the hotel (there is u-bike stand just opposite the hotel, but there were no bikes available when we headed out in the evening). The hotel staff were generally friendly, but there are not many amenities available to guests. There were only hair dryer and bedroom slippers available. The hotel did provide two bottles of water, and there is a water dispenser at the lobby if guests need more water. Other tourist attractions within 20-30 minutes walk around are prison, Hiroki village, railway park."

"The location is very convenient! It is very convenient to go to the train station, famous shops, and night markets! It is within walking distance! The hotel provides free bicycles! Also, if you arrive early, you can store your luggage! The hotel also provides a piano! Free breakfast! Although the hotel looks old inside, the room is very spacious! There is also a big bathtub 🛁! Family Mart is opposite the hotel, which is very convenient!I like hotel Free breakfast , very local style ."
