"Very close to the Historical Central District.. public transportation as usual very good in Quito.. room was very neat.. full fledged kitchen and nice common area"
"The front desk was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and the gym was a surprise! There is fresh orange juice self served machine at breakfast and a fully equipped gym! There was a day I need to join a tour at 4am, they packed breakfast for me! The location is very convenient, it’s near everything while it’s quite at night, the room is always spacious and a newly renovated bathroom. It was truly an excellent customer experience!"
"The view is really amazing! Be sure to sign up for the $2.5 breakfast!! They also provide shampoo! It might be a little noisy in the morning because the water vendor is walking around. It might be a little difficult to walk up 173 steps from downtown to the accommodation, but it was a satisfactory accommodation :)"
"After spending two nights in a poorly managed hostel, I felt like I was in heaven here. I could definitely tell the difference between a well-maintained place and a good one. Friendly reception, hot showers, and the location, close to many attractions, were great. ❤️🩹"

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe service and care I received from Old town suites Quito is the best that I ever received for all the hotels I have stayed. My flight arrived at Quito in the early morning around 6:40am, I got to the hotel around 7:40am, hotel front desk employee Francisco took my luggages, provided me power cord to charge my phone, and even gave me a delicious breakfast. I felt I have been welcomed into my new home in Quito. The hotel provided milk, yogurt, bread, juice, cheese, eggs, ham, vegetables and fruits for making breakfast yourself or you can tell them ahead of time and they can prepare breakfast for you. I have had amazing experience in this hotel. The hotel location is great and you can walk to old town attractions. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.
GGuest UserFriends Hotel was a fantastic place to stay in Quito. The standout was the delicious breakfast, with plenty of fresh, tasty options to start the day. Even more impressive was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff members, from Yale/ Javier/ Joell at front desk to Mariano (staple chef at breakfast time) who were always happy to help with a smile and made us feel right at home. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Comfortable rooms, a great atmosphere, and excellent service make this hotel an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Quito. A couple of things to note are that the hotel does not have elevators so if you are mobility restricted maybe avoid. The shampoo was not refilled when I began my stay but easily fixed by informing them. The hotel walls are quite thin too so be careful of any private conversations!
MMister StephenThe reason I booked this hotel was because of the superb reviews. I can confirm the accuracy of those reviews. This is a fabulous place to stay. The staff are great. The facilities are exceptional. The restaurant is wonderful and has such a variety of delicious food. The health pool has crystal clear water. My room was much larger than what I'm used to over the last five weeks of traveling. It is easy to get the concierge to book excursions. There are airline check-in machines in the foyer. This is easily the best hotel I have stayed in over the past five weeks and comes with my highest recommendation.
CCarmyBreakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time.

GGuest UserGood customer service. My single occupancy room wasn't huge, but it was big wrought and had a big windows that could open for fresh air. HOT WATER in the sinks and showers (thank heavens!). The wifi was slow, but it worked well enough. The front desk is 24/7. The location is also good with many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, public transport stops, ATMs, and more around. I'd stay here again.
KKJ SEOWI stayed at ibis Hotel Quito for a three nights and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a super convenient location — close to restaurants, shops, and easy access to main attractions around the city. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give local tips. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed — comfy bed, good Wi-Fi, and hot shower (which I really appreciated after a long day out!). Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the coffee was great too. The hotel also felt very safe, which made my stay even more relaxing. Overall, it was a great experience — simple, comfortable, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Quito
JJeremy LeeeeThe facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.
LLady Kwenadi🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette! My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care. The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!
