"Hotel is lovely and the room is spacious and very clean. It’s very close to Helsinki city centre, about 15 minutes and just across the river. Buffet breakfast is delicious and fresh with plenty of options. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular, the lovely lady in the kitchen is always smiling, warm, cheerful and greets everyone good morning on arrival for breakfast. It really makes a difference to the start of the day. If you don’t have a lot of luggage and arrive by train from the airport, this hotel is a short 15 minutes from from Helsinki Central station. Otherwise there is a train stop underground just a little to the left of the hotel and tram stop right in front of the hotel which is currently under renovations."

However, it closes a bit early — breakfast ends at 10:00 AM, which may feel slightly rushed for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. The room is comfortable and warm, which is especially important during cold weather. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice addition for a hotel at this level. Aside from that, other amenities are well-prepared and sufficient. Overall, Scandic Simonkenttä offers a comfortable stay, excellent location, and good service. With a few small improvements, especially regarding bathroom amenities and breakfast hours, it would be an even better experience."

"It was a wonderful 3 nights stay in the lovely city of Helsinki. The hotel is located in the city center, which makes dining and shopping and getting around anywhere super convenient. Despite being right next to Helsinki Central station and the bus terminal, the room is super quiet. Sound proofing is 👍🏻. My room was clean, cosy, spacious and tastefully designed. The amenities in the room was very basic; they only provide towels, no other amenities were provided. Bedroom slippers to be purchased. Doesn’t affect our stay much though. The location tops everything else. Buffet breakfast was good too."

"Scandic Kallio is a very convenient location as it is walking distance to the tram and bus lines. It also has a nice park in front of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and bed linens and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast offers a nice spread of continental and Finnish foods. Everything was fresh and delicious."

"Lovely new hotel, very clean and modern, just at the train station (quite convenient), but also next to the city center attractions. The staff was incredibly welcoming and nice. Check in and check out was smooth. The room was cozy and beds were comfortable, and had all needed amenities. 10/10!"

"Everything is clean and tidy, kitchen is huge and there is enough coffee and tea for everyone. Favourite spot is the gym room, there’s even a rack and heavy lifting is possible ;)) Location is quite convenient, very close to transport and there is a Sushi restaurant right next to the hotel which close until 10 pm, recommend for solo travelling or couple ;).. a really nice place."
