"Location, location, location. Within walking distance to the Parthenon and Olympic Stadium. Shops and restaurants nearby. Views from the rooftop restaurant are amazing. Pool/lounge area is great. Mattress was a little firm for my taste but overall a great place to stay."

"Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !"

"What makes a hotel 5 stars is the people. This hotel has the most amazing helpful staff that I've ever encountered. I arrived on a solo trip unwell. This hotel went above and beyond to help me and arranged a doctor to come to site. They were friendly and caring. I would stay here again just because of the staff. "Traveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Even with a short layover, I could easily fit in a half-day tour of the Acropolis the next morning. The overall check-in process was smooth, and it was a perfect choice for an overnight stopover to explore Athens."

"This is the first time I’ve ever stayed in Grand Hyatt around the world. It was so much nicer than I expected because the staffs are so kind and helpful during the stay. Especially, when I checked in, the front desk staff was very friendly with good smile. Then, they realized that my birthday was coming in 2days, so they upgraded my room for me! Plus, breakfast was awesome for me. There are tons of things including Greek food. I’m sure I will stay here again when I visit Greek."
