There's a solid ramen restaurant nearby and a 24/7 convenience store within 2 stones' throw away. The shuttle bus service is dedicated, prompt and without hassle. The driver does his utmost to serve and assist with professionalism. Albeit his small stature, he does not back off from the bigger luggage pieces. He drives with a measured approach to ensure safety and it was indeed a pleasant journey. The service staff at the reception are able to communicate in basic English and their service mindset is commendable. Hotel Nexus H S does not appear to be striking in its appearance but it punches above its weight in quite a few areas.

Hakata Nakasu Washington Hotel Plaza is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a great location in Fukuoka. I stayed here for two nights during the Fukuoka Dome concert. I left Haneda at night and left the airport after 10:30pm. It said that check-in was until 11pm, so I called the hotel and they told me that I could check in until midnight, and that there was a side entrance after that. The location is about 15-20 minutes by train from Fukuoka Airport (with one transfer), and about the same from PayPay Dome. It's about a 3-minute walk from Hakozakimiyamae Station Exit 3, but the elevator to the ground level takes you to Exit 4, so it's quite a detour. (And there were few streetlights, so it was pitch black and quite scary.) There are no convenience stores (or supermarkets) around the station. If you need to prepare breakfast, I recommend buying it before you reach the nearest station. (There's a McDonald's next door, so you can have breakfast!) The room and bed were quite spacious and were enough for one person. Is the building heated even if the indoor air conditioning is turned off? It was quite hot, but there was a humidifier (air purifier) ​​so it was comfortable. Of course, the room has a bathtub, but there is also a large public bath, and I was able to use it right away, which was great. There are four showers and faucets, and the bathtub is big enough for 4.5 people. The changing room is also small, so it may be inconvenient during busy times, but I used it after 11pm on both days, so it was smooth. The amenities and drink service (coffee, black tea, green tea, water) were also sufficient and impeccable. The front desk staff were very polite and friendly. I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

The bed is the hard kind, buckwheat pillow. The female onsen very relaxing, 1 indoor pool with 2 jacuzzi jet, 1 outdoor pool, 1 cool pool and 1 infared sauna. Inside onsen have a water dispenser and also vending machine. Washing machine is 300 yen per use, and dryer at 100 yen per 30mins. There’s a small fridge in room, but tv channel quite limited. The window can be open but to a small extend. Can’t really hear any noise from the neighbours. So I assume the sound insulation is quite good. The lobby also have plenty of seating space and the full range of amenities provided. Overall 👍🏻

Great stay. Near station and supermarket morning staff helpful to keep things in freezer for us.

We stayed for 1 night in a twin room at this hotel and we were very pleased. The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. We carried 2 small suitcases and there was just enough space to open it up fully. I agree with some of the other reviews, in case you have a large suitcase, it will be tight. Positives * Good location (approx 13 mins from JR Hakata Station). * Comfortable beds. * Good shower/ bathroom. * Friendly staff and extremely helpful. * Check-in and out was easy without any issues. Negatives * There was hair in the corner of the bathroom. It looked like when the floor was cleaned, it was swept into the corner and forgotten about. * Some difficult to reach areas were not dusted.

This was my first time staying at the Vessel Inn Hotel. The exterior is a little old, but the hotel room was spacious and well-cleaned. Early check-in was also a great help. Thank you.

Hotel is very close to the port so was super easy to catch the ferry. Room was spacious and clean, we had a small kitchen inside the room.

The location was really good. The staffs were nice. The room was very clean and tidy, everyday there was a housemaid who came and cleaned the room.
