Hotels near Joten-ji Temple, Fukuoka

"I had a fantastic stay at The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu. The hotel is modern, stylish, and located just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient for exploring Fukuoka. The rooms are clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like wood-themed interiors and calming background music in the hallways. I especially loved the public bath and sauna—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes. Staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel also has a cozy lounge area where you can enjoy free drinks and snacks after using the bath. With its great location near restaurants, shopping, and attractions like Kushida Shrine and Canal City, this hotel is a perfect base for any traveler. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"The Quintessa Hotel is ideally located within a 5-10 minute walk from major shopping malls and transport links. We stayed in a spacious room, the largest on our floor, though it lacked a view, facing a building's fire escape used by smokers. Despite the great location close to shops, restaurants, and parking, be prepared to buy your own water as none is provided. Parking is available but costly; cheaper alternatives are nearby (my 4th photo features one of those alternatives which includes shelter from possible rain). The hotel offers laundry facilities, which we did not use, and features a free comic book library in the lobby, a unique touch that adds to its charm."

"You can tell the hotel was built some time ago judging from its style, but this has not compromised its service and cleanliness. It is very well managed, the tub is spotless and the staff members are all helpful and professional. They also offer two different styles of breakfast for you to choose from, and I am more than satisfied. Location-wise, it is right across Hakata station which connects you to pretty much everywhere in Fukuoka."

"Hakata Nakasu Washington Hotel Plaza is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a great location in Fukuoka. Situated in the vibrant Nakasu area, the hotel is close to the subway, making it easy to access Hakata Station, Tenjin, and major attractions such as Kushida Shrine and the Canal City shopping complex. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, including free Wi-Fi, toiletries, and daily housekeeping. The staff are polite, helpful, and can communicate well in English, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for international guests. One of the highlights is the breakfast, which offers a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, making it suitable for all tastes. Overall, this hotel is ideal for both leisure and business travelers. It provides a safe, comfortable environment with excellent service in the heart of the city."

"The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Sumiyoshi Shrine and Canal City Hakata, with a paid parking right next to hotel. The breakfast buffet, blending Japanese and Western options, is a hightlight. Rooms are spacious for the price, but some may find them dimly lit. The staff is friendly, and freebies like bath salts add a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great value for a central, comfortable stay in Fukuoka."

"It is a quiet place that I am assigned to. The room is clean and inside comes with a mini massage machine. You have to take the amentity such as comb, bath powder, tea bags from the lobby. When you come in winter period, you will have a humidifier in the room. The room is small but enough for a solo traveller."

"房間：單人房a (2人） Very good!! Perfect location with nice service. Just 5 mins walk from Hakata station. With a 7-11 just downstairs. The hotel room is big enough for opening the luggage. It is also clean with air conditioner which you can really adjust by yourself. With one mirror infront of the desk which is desirable for girls. Highly recommended!!
