Amazing
GGuest UserThis was my third stay, and I chose this hotel again because my previous two experiences were so good. However, this time was truly unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM. My daughter had injured her leg while skiing, so we asked the middle-aged woman at check-in if we could check in early. She said yes, but we'd have to pay for an additional day – what a rip-off! The funny thing is, they told us we could wait in the lobby until 3 PM without paying. The lobby was nice, so we decided to wait there instead of wasting about 1700 RMB. But then, to our surprise, we saw the staff taking our luggage and other belongings to our room much earlier, while we weren't allowed to enter. Crazy! On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal this time was incredibly poor, almost unusable. Reporting it to the hotel didn't help either; we had to use our own data. So, this stay was truly, truly, truly disappointing! Attached is a photo of my daughter in a wheelchair, and they still wouldn't let us check in early. That middle-aged woman was so inhumane!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel and its rooms are brand new. Although the bed isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate. The upside of a smaller bed is that it frees up more floor space. In a room of the same size, I had more room to walk around and easily fit my 26-inch suitcase without it getting in the way. It was very clean and comfortable, I really liked it.
The hotel is conveniently located just a minute's walk from the JR station, and it's also very close to New Chitose Airport, only a 10-15 minute train ride away. There's a bus stop next to the hotel for trips to Lake Shikotsu, and about a 15-minute walk brings you to an Aeon store, which is more like a supermarket than a large department store. Right next door to the hotel is a library called MACHI Library @ Chitose. When I didn't feel like being alone in my room, I'd go there to sit. There were locals, students, mothers, and children – it felt very warm and inviting, and I really enjoyed being among people.
The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are some great eateries in the surrounding neighborhood; just open Google Maps and explore! They're delicious and not overly crowded.
The only downside was the price of the coin-operated washing machines. A single wash cost 2-3 times more than at other hotels I stayed at in Sapporo and Asahikawa. The dryer, however, wasn't more expensive than elsewhere.
The soundproofing at this hotel is excellent. I didn't hear any noise and was able to sleep soundly even without earplugs.
If I visit Chitose again, I would definitely choose this hotel.
LLWHHThe hotel room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is located near the train station in the quieter Chitose area, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great room service. One of the biggest highlights was the convenient airport transportation, especially a huge relief when we had to manage our suitcases in the snow.
There is also a shopping mall near the hotel, along with a large shoe plaza offering many options at reasonable prices. The staff there were incredibly kind and provided excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable.
ZZuodeqifeijimaibuqichongdianbaoThis mysterious hotel is hidden inside the terminal building. I chose it because I had an early 7:30 AM flight and was worried about JR (Japan Railways) issues. Although the price wasn't cheap, I felt the overall experience was great.
How to find it: You'll see a small entrance between the check-in counters for Skymark and Jetstar Japan on the second floor of the domestic departures area.
Ctrip inexplicably listed it as 'no breakfast,' yet they offered free breakfast. What's that about???
The hotel room is quite spacious for Japan; having two sets of tables and chairs felt luxurious. The standard amenities in the room, like yukata (Japanese robes), toothbrushes, razors, a care kit, and even a bath scrub mitt, were so extensive it made me feel like I wasn't in Japan.
Guests get free access to the New Chitose Airport Onsen, which was a pleasant surprise. Taking a dip and then a shower was incredibly relaxing.
After 11 PM, there aren't many flights, so you don't have to worry about aircraft noise.
A delightful hotel, highly recommended!
YYueyexiaomiDue to a flight cancellation, we changed our original itinerary and arrived in Japan a day early. We chose to stay near the airport for a night. You can reach the hotel from the airport by bus or train; the bus stop is very close to the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, and you can also walk straight to Aeon.
We booked a quad room, which was very comfortable for three of us. I don't like small rooms, and this hotel offers spacious rooms at a great price. It was really clean and nice.
There's also a small park near the hotel, and the treehouse-like structure by the entrance offers free book rentals. It's adorable!
GGuest UserFor Japan, the room wasn't small; it was actually pretty good. You could easily open two or three suitcases without any issues. For a 'pigeon-coop' hotel in Japan, you can't ask for much more. The lady at the front desk and a slightly plump guy were both very enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. I went during a very sensitive time, and there were absolutely no problems. I'm not sure if they spoke Chinese or English, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is not far from the JR station, maybe a 10-minute walk. Breakfast is served at the izakaya next door, which was decent and filling, and they even offer airport transfers. If you need to go to the airport, this is definitely the place to book. Otherwise, if you're coming from Hakodate or some other remote place, it's quite a long journey, and if you miss your train, you might have to wait several hours for the next JR. Staying here in advance is the safest bet. The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that there aren't many shopping centers or entertainment options nearby, and it gets dark early. If you're flying home, you absolutely, positively must book this place!!
GGuest UserThe hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we're a group of 5). Each coin worth 150 JPY. The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen. For women, there will be a code to enter when entering the onsen on the 14th floor. The room is clean and the AC works well. Great overall experience. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the airport. 8 people per bus.
WWahida ZainuddinIt is located near only 1 stop JR station before going to New Chitose Airport. Very easy to find. Self check in is also easy just follow the instructions given. Spacious room and complete with all amenities including fridge, stove, microwave and there is a washing machine too! It suitable for staying if the flight is in the morning because the earliest time to the airport by JR train is at 6.40am. Suitable as a last stop before returning
GGuest UserThis hotel offers good value for money overall, especially for those traveling by car, as the free parking is a huge convenience and saves the hassle of finding a spot. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. The surrounding area has plenty of amenities, making dining and shopping easy. It's a great choice for a layover or a short stay, and I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.
LLimm64This hotel is a good alternative to Chitose Airport Hotel. They offer FREE shuttle services to and from the airport. If you wish to stay the night, due to weather or early flight out, this is a good alternative. Price is reasonable. From CTS to the hotel, shuttle service begins at 5pm on an hourly basis. Once you check in you should book your departure shuttle and it starts at 6:10am. There's a minivan and a tour bus to cater for shuttle needs. When picking up from hotel, you have to head to the Domestic terminal and once exit the terminal turn left and walk all the way until the police post.. there you should see some bus/van parked waiting to pick up guests. During departure, make sure you tell the driver if you are going to the International or Domestic terminal. The first stop is Domestic.
Basic amenities at the hotel and they provide robes for using their bath. There're micorwave on several floors and one at the lobby. There's a restaurant on site and if you wish to have a simple take out meal, a Family Mart is right across the street with good selection of food and beverages.
Put this hotel into your travel plans.. especially during winter season.
