GGuest UserThis is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island. It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about. The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need. The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well. The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees. The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers. Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh. The bakery section in particular is excellent. The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach. Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am. They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant. Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested! With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect. We will be back i am sure

Mmedusa_csThe hotel was good. We lived on A7 room, bear by the lobby and the beach. There were not so many guests, most of people came here only for one day and leave the beach at the evening. Breakfast was good, serving on a terrace. Beach was... normal. Not so many people as at Phuket. There are enough deckchairs, but some of them are ”permanently occupied”. People leave their towels and never come back, staff make nothing to fix it. We saw some monkey one day, they were looking for something to eat in the thashcan. Hotel is good for it's money, but not much things to do around. To do something interesting you have to ride to Tonsai on a boat-taxi for 100-150 bat.

BBibby’s tripThe staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and they even arranged breakfast earlier than the usual opening time because we had an early morning flight. We really appreciated the extra care and thoughtfulness.

GGuest UserWords cannot describe how beautiful the resort is. Service is top notch. You can enjoy their private beach. Food is also very Good. Bed was very comfortable. You can have a great sleep there. They will pick you up from the pier & drop you off. No worries with that. Good 10 min walk from Macdonald.
