Outstanding
GGuest UserI booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!
RRickAh, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
GGuest UserIt was our first time visiting Baltimore as a family, and thanks to this hotel, we left with only great memories. The hotel was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Right outside the hotel, we could ride bikes along the river and take morning walks—it was the perfect spot to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Baltimore!
GGuest UserThe location is excellent surrounded by a lot of great restaurants. Wholefood CVS and Sephora all are 5 mins walk. Self parking is convenient and close. I will definitely stay here next time.
GGuest UserEverything was clean fresh and beautiful loved that we were by the water and near restaurants and things to do..the staff was great nice and friendly checking in was a breeze,I also loved that housekeeping stocked extra towels and wash cloths so we didn’t have to ask for anything, love the pool hours as well so it gave us time to enjoy that as well! My husband and I booked this to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and we will definitely be back P.s free parking was the icing on the cake lol
GGuest UserWas looking for a hotel close to comedy show and low and behold it was in the same hotel. So it worked out great for us after checking in went to dinner came back relaxed for 45 min. Then went down stairs to comedy factory. We had free coupons for breakfast but we decided to venture out on our way back to Richmond. Overall nice place to stay found out they also shuttle for cruises out of this hotel too.
GGuest UserDays Inn Inner Harbour Baltimore is just across the road (other side of W. Pratt Street) from the Baltimore Convention Center. Standard services are provided, including a light breakfast. A vending machine is provided in the lobby if you arrive late at night and hungry. The staff at front desk is professional, including help to secure a taxi by phone in the early hours to the BWI airport (many thanks, Chris!). Bedding sheets could be more carefully checked.
