"We had a wonderful stay at Henann Beach Resort Panglao after our diving days, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bohol looking for a relaxing beach holiday or a base to explore Bohol! The reception team was professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request, making both check-in and check-out seamless. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed (shampoo =, conditioner, dental kit etc). One of the highlights of the resort is its beautiful beachfront location with stunning views of Alona Beach. The pool facilities are exceptional. The resort features three large swimming pools on different levels: there was always plenty of space available to swim or lounge by the water. The pool bars were another great feature, with their 2-for-1 happy hour promotion on drinks, which offered excellent value and made sunset cocktails even more enjoyable. Overall, Henann Beach Resort delivers an excellent combination of comfort, service, facilities, and location. Highly recommended! 🌴🍹☀️"

"This time, I went on a trip to the Philippines, staying 5 nights in Bohol and 3 nights in Cebu. The Hennan Resort in Bohol was truly excellent. We arrived around 11 AM after a half-day diving schedule, and fortunately, our room was ready, so we were able to check in immediately and get into our room quickly. The accommodation itself was really clean, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. They promptly resolved any service requests we had, so I think I'll definitely stay here again if I visit Bohol in the future. The pool was also well-maintained, and overall, it was a very satisfying stay."

"I really love this place. It's a resort with excellent value for money, and the service is enthusiastic. If I ever get the chance to visit Bohol again, I'd definitely stay here. However, for those who specifically want fine sandy beaches, none of the hotels along this stretch of beach would be suitable because there are a lot of pebbles. Also, Ctrip mentioned that the hotel offered Chinese-speaking service, but that wasn't actually the case."

"I was very disappointed after seeing breakfast buffet in this hotel! Knowing that it wasn’t cheap hotel and has lots of branches over Philippines, I didn’t expect that the buffet would be considering only Philippino and Chinese taste. Eggs weren’t even cooked well, hash brown smelled with old oil, most of the food contains pork, not much fruit choice ( only two ) , coffee tasted as though coffee machine wasn’t cleaned for ages. I raised a complaint knowing I had food poisoning after 2 consecutive days! All I heard is sorry we can provide you veggies … is it a best offer knowing how much we paid for this hotel! Then at least give people option of not including breakfast to the room price. Concerning room no problem, clean and nice."

"This hotel's service is the kind that ruins your day. I was asked for my room number three times. The first two times were fine, and the inquiries were at least polite. But once, when my child was playing in the pool, a male attendant came over and very sternly asked for my room number. His look and expression made me feel like he thought I was some outsider trying to sneak into their pool! It was incredibly offensive! To top it off, our child cut their toe in the pool. When I mentioned it to them that evening, there wasn't even a single 'sorry.' I initially thought about sending an email to complain, but then decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I definitely don't recommend this hotel! The food was also bad; even the butter at breakfast was some unfamiliar local Filipino brand."

"2nd time in Bohol and glad we picked Amorita! Its the best service and location. Nestled in a cliff in Alona beach, it felt very private & serene. The hospitality was amazing! Very Filipino aesthetic. We ended up staying in the hotel more. The restaurants are also good especially the spanish one where we had the best tapas! Worth every penny."

"Very good service and very accommodating. All the staff were wonderful, and the breakfast selection was excellent. I especially loved their hot chocolate and Filipino delicacies. They kindly approved my early check-in and even prepared a birthday surprise, as shown in one of the photos. The place is very clean and has a beautiful beachfront. We will be back soon. Love that food and drinks has reasonable pricing. Overall i am impressed."

"This was by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during the May Day holiday. The common areas on the first floor are really well-decorated, and the hotel offers a wide range of activities and things to do. The food was just okay; breakfast was mediocre, and lunch, dinner, and drinks were all pretty average. But then again, I didn't have high hopes for Filipino food in general. The hotel's service and cleanliness were top-notch, and the beach was beautiful with options like sailing and kayaking. The biggest surprise was the scuba diving experience – the two masters were genuinely lovely, and we had an amazing time over four to five hours for 4000 pesos, seeing so much marine life. I'll definitely be back to stay here next time!"

"There is nothing like this on Panglao, when you live in the silence of the jungle, surrounded by nature and excellent service. Excellent breakfasts, when you order exactly what you want, and do not choose from the buffet from the leftovers. We did not have time to try all the breakfast options in a week. The Paprika restaurant itself is one of the best on the island, located on a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. The service is ideal - you can correspond with the staff via WhatsApp, without having to call. Free transfer to Alona beach, for an additional price we took a trip to the fireflies, a tour of the island of Bohol and a boat for snorkeling. Meeting at the airport and return transfer to the airport was also for money (Attention! Now, to fly from the island, you need to have 900 pesos in cash per person, prepare this money in advance!). The villa itself looks luxurious and spacious, the ceiling made of many crossbars emphasizes the ethnic orientation, and the surrounding of each house with a dense forest with birds singing creates coziness and unity with nature. Of the minuses - I did not like the excursion to the island of Balikasag for snorkeling - early in the morning you swim trying to see dolphins, but the chance to see them is very small, on the island of Balikasag itself they let you swim only 1 hour, and then take you back to the hotel, although the hotel said that the boat is at our disposal and we can swim everywhere and as much as we want. I would also call the hotel's somewhat abandoned state a minus - the stable and spa center look sad, some villas from the outside look abandoned and covered with dry leaves. Since we were in the dry season, the area around the villa was dry, it would be nice if the lawn near the houses was watered, but this may possibly attract extra insects, which, by the way, were almost non-existent, despite the jungle surroundings. The staff speaks excellent English, is smiling and friendly. Thank you for an unforgettable week in a paradise!"
