"All in all, hotel is good. But for this price I recommend you to go to Maldives. Sea is not suitable for swimming, quite dirty and a lot of rocks. Service is quite bad in all restaurants except 2 person: B and, unfortunately, don’t remember a girl’s name who was serving us after check-out in the bar. Also, we were going to next FS property in check out date and wanted a late check-out. How normally it works in real 5* property: you check out around 10 and go to any free villa on island till late check-out (they had free villas that day). And here we needed to wait 2 hours in the bar. Of course, I won’t choose this place again as it’s not you are expected when you know how it normally works in real good property."

"Our stay at Banyan Tree Samui was a relaxing experience. The tranquility of the resort, together with the beautiful ocean-view pool villa, made every moment feel like a private paradise. Waking up to the stunning sea view and enjoying the serenity of our villa were undoubtedly among the highlights of our stay. One of the most magical moments was witnessing the sunrise from our villa. The panoramic view of the sun rising over the ocean was simply breathtaking and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and picture-perfect experiences the resort has to offer. She has a wonderful way of connecting with both children and adults, and her genuine care and cheerful spirit truly warmed our hearts and made our children’s experience even more enjoyable. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Khun Nook, who accompanied my wife and me on the morning resort jog and patiently taught me how to sail a boat. In addition to being an excellent instructor, he was wonderful company and a pleasure to chat with during the activities. His passion, friendliness, and positive energy added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. While the staff were generally friendly and courteous, we believe there are opportunities to further elevate the guest experience, particularly in terms of attentiveness and personalization. During breakfast at The Edge and in our interactions with our assigned butler, we felt that the level of engagement and anticipation of guests’ needs could be enhanced. Given Banyan Tree’s reputation for exceptional hospitality, we had hoped for a more personalized experience that would make guests feel truly special. We share this feedback with the utmost respect and in the spirit of continuous improvement. Overall, we left with positive memories and are grateful for the hospitality extended to us."

"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel view is stunning; our room overlooked an endless sea view, which was so relaxing. The butler was also very attentive and thoughtful. When they found out we had an upset stomach, they immediately arranged for ginger tea. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Koh Samui! 👍"

"Honeymoon Perfection at Six Senses Samui. We recently booked a stay at Six Senses Samui for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of magical. "Services were excellent with staff always willing to offer help and care about your needs. The pool in the room was absolutely the best that we have ever been to, which was large enough with jacuzzi function so that we could have fun and enjoy it for a long time. However there were quite a lot of ants around the pool and inside the room, but understood it's becos of the environment near the nature. It's too bad the breakfast place was relocated to Hue and the food quality was okay. Overall it's a fantastic experience for us!"

"Our expectations were high and in the beginning it really seemed to be living up to them. First of all the staff is incredible - polite, smiling and helpful. The management was thoughtful and caring and the cleanliness was of the highest standard. When trying to use the pool during the day you will find it's impossible. Thai heat simply makes it unbearable and there's absolutely no cover from the sun - in my opinion poor design of the pool area that should have been considered during construction. Another thing is ordering a cocktail by the pool you get it in a plastic cup for water with decoration being a single piece of pineapple. Even the cheapest bars I used to visit would try harder to decorate the cocktail and in my opinion for the price we paid here it definitely shouldn't be served like this. Just seems like low value for money - same goes for the restaurant: We were told there was a barbecue event at the beach but actually it was only the normal menu of the restaurant just like every other day - price is simply too high for the presentation of the food which was just average. Breakfast was also underwhelming and a huge issue for me was the taste of the coffee! I don't know if it's due to desalinated sea water used as drinking water but americano had a horrible salty taste that was impossible to drink. In my opinion bottleded water must be used for the espresso machine because as such it is undrinkable. Finally the location of the resort itself isn't the best, the beach is tiny and rocky and to get anywhere you need to be driven in a buggy which you need to book and then wait. Many times I've witnessed peaople frustrated and give up on waiting for it and walk instead, as we done a few times also. Unfortunately overall I wouldn't plan on returning again even though the staff is exceptional."

"Excellent hotel, great location and very quiet for evenings and overnight noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink were a little expensive on site, but local shops and markets around. only 10/15 mins walk to Fishermans market. Over all a great stay! The beach sunbeds were always quiet and didn’t have to fight for sun loungers around the pool either as there are 3 pools and 1 is adult only. The rooms are a very good size plenty of space and very large balconies. The rooms were equipped with everything we could need. The only flaw would be the over head shower wasn’t cleaned of lime scale meaning the holes were blocked up and they weren’t letting out water well. The gardens were beautiful and the walk to the seafront breakfast was something I won’t forget. Very tranquil and peaceful. Another positive was no boats around in the sea and the sea is sectioned off with floaty rope to ensure it is safe and children are safe too. Plenty of on site activities for children and adults."

"The hotel is old and quite run-down. In the common areas, the windows are dirty and the roof is leaking. The room itself is a bit dated, though everything works fine. The balcony access is through wooden windows, and there's a centimeter gap between the shutters, allowing insects to easily fly in. The hotel grounds are nice, but it's important to note that getting to the beach involves walking downhill, and coming back requires an uphill climb, including stairs. However, you can call a golf cart to take you back up from the beach. The breakfasts are good, with a large selection, plenty of fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, cheeses, and a wide variety of drinks. The beach is wonderful, with a gentle entry and clean water."
