Mountain view Hotels in Koh Samui

I had an incredible 2-night stay at Best World Vision Villa in Koh Samui. The hospitality was superb from start to finish. The view from the villa was breathtaking, and the pool was sparkling clean. The rooms were beautifully done up and very comfortable. One highlight was the BBQ seafood dinner we requested. It was prepared with a classy table setting and featured more than 8 delicious dishes, just for the two of us. The whole team was exceptional, with Mr. Joey and Seyha coordinating our stay flawlessly. I highly recommend booking their villa’s driver, as he is very experienced with the challenging mountain roads. Driving there can be quite dangerous for someone unfamiliar with the area. For convenience, you can also order Grab food delivery, but be mindful to do so when it’s not raining, as the steep roads can be slippery for the riders. They also have an in-villa dining menu, which offers excellent service and delicious options. Despite being very affordable, this villa provides the best views and an outstanding overall experience. I can’t wait to return!

This hotel is an artistic retreat, far from the madding crowd, offering ultimate privacy. 🏨 The hotel's location offers breathtaking views of the entire bay. I stayed for two nights, and the hotel was incredibly thoughtful, decorating my room for my birthday 🎂. They even upgraded my room! ❤️❤️❤️ The decorations were so beautiful, I couldn't bear to take them down for two days. ❤️❤️❤️ We also received a room upgrade, allowing direct access to a private pool 🏊 with exceptional privacy, letting me soak in the stunning views. The food 🥘 at the hotel was also high-quality; I could enjoy delicious meals without even leaving the premises. The hotel also boasts a comprehensive range of facilities, such as a cinema 🎦, massage 💆‍♀️, and sauna 🧖 – truly everything you could ask for. Since the hotel is located halfway up a mountain, they offer a very convenient and quick car service. The hotel staff were also very welcoming and had bright smiles. What I appreciated most was finding a JBL speaker in the room! 📣 No music, no life! I could enjoy my favorite music even while swimming. I practically couldn't part with the speaker for 24 hours. The hotel also has a little dog 🐶, very cute and endearing.

Everything was wonderful. It's such a shame the hotel is closing. P.S. I'd like to address those people who complain about children. Please, choose 'adults-only' hotels and you won't have any problems. While at the hotel, my little daughter and I had an unpleasant incident (a ginger-bearded American dared to shush me because my little one was making noise).

We spent 6 nights in the Mekkala and had a great stay. It was very quiet, but very close to restaurants and the beach. Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious and comfortable. Outside was a patio with pool access right there. Also there was a table and chairs out there along with an area to lounge on a very comfortable couch. Breakfast was available and cooked to order. Everywhere was clean and the staff were really nice. There was a place to hire a car or bike right next door and next door but 1 took in washing, had taxis and could arrange trips which we did. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and if we ever return to Samui would definately go back to the Mekkala.

We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained. However, we would like to express our special gratitude to the entire team, as everyone paid great attention to us and treated us with exceptional kindness. We booked the most basic room, but we were absolutely delighted with it. The housekeeper did an amazing job every single day, keeping it incredibly clean and paying attention to every little detail—she even changed the towels regularly and neatly organized our cords and cables. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, which were great and served all-inclusive style, and we also had delicious lunches ordering from the menu. The only minor downside is that the location is quite close to the busy tourist beaches, but that really depends on what you are looking for.

I booked the Ocean Front Deluxe Room to have a quiet last day at the beach with ocean view. Unfortunately, loud constructions and a bar/restaurant with music made it impossible to be outside without noises. Apart from that the hotel is great. Service is good. I advice to doublecheck with the hotel regarding the construction and booking a cheaper room garden side of hotel to avoid the noise. Room was wonderful, clean and food was very good to. Breakfast had a nice selection. Transfer time to/from Airport is 10-15 minutes, thus perfect for arrival or departure day.

We stayed with our daughter for 10 days for her 21st birthday in a two bedroom villa with a plunge pool . The views were magnificent. We had a huge double bed  (which was very comfortable) and my daughter had two single beds in her room.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, the reception staff were lovely, the cleaners all very helpful and the location was perfect. It cost 150 Baht for a taxi to get to central Chaweng which is 5 minutes away. Sometimes we walked back from Chaweng along the beach which took about 30 minutes.  Thoroughly recommended!! Nice oasis out of Chaweng!!

The hotel has beautiful surroundings, like statues, sculptures, different kinds of decorations. It feels like a place for yoga retreat, and you can actually have yoga classes there. The hotel's territory is very appealing. My room was kinda rather poor in decoration and it did not match with the price honestly speaking. Breakfast was included but it was very simple, with not much choice. It is a perfect place for introverts because the place is quiet. You can find a lot of massage places and restaurants on the way to the sea.

Got a corner room when asked for sea facing which was not the best, hotel felt very quiet so could have been moved to another room, room service and cleaning was great but got loads of insects and ants in our room every day somehow,great views and pool, location is 25 min from airport, overall a decent place to stay

Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome. The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng. The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.
