I'm quite satisfied with this guesthouse; it offers excellent value for money! First off, the location is great—less than a ten-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, and the bus stop isn't far either. Plus, the room was exceptionally clean and newly renovated. Since I was traveling with my parents, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room when they saw we had more people, which was incredibly thoughtful. The lobby is also spacious and has free travel guides you can take as souvenirs. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience! In a place like Hong Kong and Macau, where space is at a premium, this kind of value is definitely a win.
I only stayed for one night, and as soon as I entered the room, there was a smoky smell. Since it's a non-smoking hotel, it probably wasn't someone smoking in the room, but rather due to poor ventilation. Those sensitive to smoke should consider this carefully. The single room, though small, had everything one needs, making it quite suitable for solo travelers. It came with slippers, bottled water, and toiletries. The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby and a convenient old restaurant on the hotel's first floor. Bus stops are also close, and you can walk to Senado Square. However, perhaps because it's an old street, the road isn't very even, making it a bit difficult to drag luggage.
Staying at the Asia Boutique Inn in Taipa was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from Rua do Cunha food street, and within walking distance to The Venetian and Galaxy resorts, making it super convenient for getting around and finding great food. The room was compact but clean and tidy, with well-maintained bedding and a spotless bathroom. The free Wi-Fi was stable. The front desk staff were very helpful, offering 24-hour reception and luggage storage. This inn offers great value for money, perfect for travelers who want to explore and enjoy local cuisine. The only minor downside is the small room size, but overall, it was a really good stay.
