Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.

PENSÃO ELEGANTE (BARRA)

Great location, around 15 min flat walk from Barra station, possibly the best budget accommodation with easy access from public transportation. Room was basic but clean, provided all I needed for a 1 night layover in Macau. There is a universal power outlet so no need to use a converter. Also within walking distance to most areas of interest in Macau center. Highly recommend

My girlfriend and I stayed here once before, and I still choose this hotel when I'm on business trips alone. The location is quite convenient for getting around, and there are many good restaurants nearby. Overall, I think it offers good value for money.

The location is not easy to find, but it's in a nice area just outside of the busy areas, it's a bit small but for people who are just staying a couple of days in Macau with light luggage it's highly recommended, there are a lot of good restaurants in the street next to the hotel and it's a walking distance to all the sights that Macau is famous for

Towns Well Motel

My cousin and her husband stayed at Towns Well Motel during their trip to Macau, and overall, they had a good experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s very close to major attractions like Senado Square and other tourist spots, all within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient. Their room was surprisingly spacious and clean, which they really appreciated after long days of घूमing around Macau. The value for money is also good, especially considering how central the hotel is. However, they did mention that the hotel is a bit old and can be hard to find at first since it’s located along narrow streets and uphill paths. Transportation can also be slightly inconvenient, especially if you have luggage. The staff were generally okay, though communication can sometimes be a challenge due to limited English. Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly option for travelers who prioritize location and space over luxury. My cousin and her husband were satisfied with their stay and would still recommend it for short visits in Macau.

The hotel only serves a purpose that can be used for sleeping in the evening. Other than that, the location is great. The front desk guys are great. It is not a hotel with a magnificent cleanliness but the service and the sheets were very clean.

I chose this Macau hotel for a Saturday night after visiting Chimelong Hengqin. At the time, it was the cheapest hotel on Trip.com for that day, and it showed only one twin room with two 1.5m beds remaining. After discounts, I paid 586 RMB. Apparently, on weekdays, this hotel can go for 200-300 RMB. I arrived at the hotel at 9 PM, only to find that no rooms were available yet. The room I got was a twin room directly facing the reception, with a private bathroom and complimentary toiletries. That was all fine, but it was incredibly noisy at night. Being a street-facing room, it was right by a busy main road, with constant noise from motorcycles and cars speeding by. The curtains were decent at blocking light, ensuring the room stayed dark. Eventually, I was just too tired and fell asleep. Later, when checking out and heading to the Border Gate, the taxi driver recommended a few nearby hotels like Hotel Harbourview and Hotel Ka Fu. He also mentioned that if it wasn't a Friday or Saturday, you could find much better hotels at that price point on weekdays. Plus, there seemed to be some concerts happening at the time, which probably drove up the price of my stay. I also saw a group of four – one guy and three girls, probably students – checking in at the same time, opting for a room with four beds. So, I think this hotel would be a good choice at around 200 RMB on a weekday. However, if you're traveling with family and need something quiet and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere. After all, we stayed to get a good night's rest before exploring Macau the next day, and we really had no other options. I'd suggest asking the hotel if they have inner-facing rooms beforehand and try to avoid street-facing ones. Overall, I'd say this hotel is alright, just passable.

Great location and excellent service! It's super easy to find. Macau is a tourist paradise, and the prices were much more affordable than I expected. Taking a walk by the sea and enjoying the breeze, even without hitting the casinos, is a fantastic option. Highly recommend, highly recommend, highly recommend!
