New Hotels in Budapest

"A funky hotel close to the cruise port. The decor is very unique with a fun vibe going on. We were greeted with a chance to spin a wheel for a random prize and scored complimentary drinks.  Only downside was no complimentary hot drinks for guests."

"The apartment complex is located on the corner of two quiet side streets. The nearest metro station, Blaha Lujsa-ter, as well as the Keleti train station, are easily accessible on foot. The new building, completed in 2026, is naturally still in good condition, very clean, and was presumably intended for apartment rentals. The apartments that are currently vacant are being rented out to tourists like hotel rooms. The booked breakfast for two people for two days was already there upon arrival, but unfortunately, the portions weren't very generous and were eaten on the first day. It seems we were expecting two more portions for the following day... Well, a little diet never hurt anyone! What was practically non-existent was the Wi-Fi, which only connected for a few minutes at a time before disconnecting again. The furnishings were rather spartan, which is due to the intended use as long-term rentals – the future tenants are meant to furnish the apartment to their own taste. The fairly large eat-in kitchen, estimated at 25 square meters, didn't feel particularly inviting as a result. The bedroom, with the necessary minimum distance between the double bed and the walls, was very cozy. The bathroom had a shower head built into the bathtub – a real challenge for anyone who showers without flooding the bathroom. The small balcony shouldn't be forgotten; it offers enough space for two people to enjoy the fresh air – and it's also a good place to dry laundry and umbrellas. Considering the many old, small, and worn-out hotel rooms out there, this is definitely a worthwhile addition, but not preferable to a true four-star hotel."

"I’m waited for the day that hotel opens, we been few times before cake shop dwonsters were we had dessert very delicious. I’m travelling often Budapest Location: far from city centre but close to airport Hotel New designed spacious room Room nicely decorated with lovely bathroom 👍 Bed to firm and not to comfy but is my personal preference What I really don’t like tramway just side on building and u feel like shaking room and very nosy 🙁 I’m booked hotel one night and came from Istanbul I has early flights but tyred so I know I’m gonna arrive around one hour before my chek in Called reception 6am she not happy request earlier check in if that possible then she sad 20 euro to get in hour early ! Ok 👍 I’m arrived 2.45 so don’t need it I just decided wait until 15.00 Sitting opposite reception she don’t say even hi 👋 🥲 or how can I help Being honest not friendly start I’m asked mini bar has water ? Yes we have I’m going room there is no still water Calling receptionist there is no water, she said are you sure ? 😂 yes I’m positive I see there no water Can u pls send me ? Yes I’m gonna bring up 20 min later I got still water 21.00 I got hungry so I’m decided to try Italian restaurant dwonsters instead delivery I’m regretting 😕 I’m just ordered carbonara what is terrible and of course I’m agen waited water to restaurant as well 20 min Breakfast simple Butik hotel style Norbert only person who has been helping and asked chefs made omelet for me , no halal option , everything pork , no many options for kids as well All together nice hotel good for staying close to airports hope the working staff get more better attitude Restaurants I’m not recommending 10/6 for me One night is okay but I’m not gonna book back anytime soon 🔜 hope future more improvement comes"

"This is a new hotel with a fantastic location. It's only a 10-minute walk to the airport bus stop, right in the city center. The toiletries in the bathroom are good, and I liked the smart lighting in the room. The beer at the bar was a bit pricey, but other than that, everything was excellent!"

"Excellent..Fantastic..everything perfect, the facilities , the food, and the wonderful and genuinely helpful staff. Staffed around the clock , with refreshments available at any time , and very welcoming on returning at night. Classified as Hostel but in my opinion it’s a beautiful different type of hotel., catering for teenagers or retirees, without over elaborating.  Location perfect, less than 5 mins from Metro , 10 mins bars and restaurants..everything else within easy reach eg tour buses etc… Truly great advert for the hospitality and friendliness of Budapest. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable stay, and especially over Christmas period, ( when a lessor level of service could be excusable."

"Badiliq hotel overall was very enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a beautifully decorated lobby and friendly staff who thoroughly explained everything about the hotel and the surrounding area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. If anything was missing, we could always request it at reception (such as bathrobes, slippers, toiletries). We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) in a junior suite, which was conveniently divided into two sections. The room had a fridge, espresso machine, and kettle. Housekeeping was done daily. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. Even though we stayed during the peak winter season, there was always enough space in the dining area, and the food was promptly replenished by the restaurant staff. We arrived before the official check-in time, and although no room was yet available, the receptionist kindly offered us to wait in the lounge where light snacks, juices, tea, and freshly ground coffee were provided. We could also store our luggage in the luggage room and explore the nearby attractions — the hotel is very well located with many sights within walking distance. The only downside during our stay was a temporary hot water outage for a few hours, but we were informed about it in advance. The staff were extremely polite and helpful with any requests, always accommodating. They even allowed us a late check-out, which, as we learned, is quite rare in Budapest."

"This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in Budapest! The hotel is located right in the city center, within walking distance to all the major attractions and trendy spots. Plus, there are supermarkets and plenty of food and drink options nearby. All the drinks in the mini-bar fridge are complimentary, and we even received L'Occitane skincare samples upon check-in. We visited during Chinese New Year, and for a holiday period, paying just over 500 per night was an absolute steal! The room decor is exquisite and elegant, and being a new hotel that opened in 2025, everything felt fresh. The soundproofing was excellent, and the skylight could be opened, which was great for preventing stuffiness. On our first day, we had a slight issue with the bathroom drain, but after reporting it to the front desk, they quickly moved us to a new room. Their problem-solving was super efficient. I'll definitely be recommending Wonder Hotel to all my friends visiting Budapest in the future!"

"1. The landlord was very polite and enthusiastically explained the room's facilities to us. 2. Located in front of a subway and tram stop, it's very convenient to get around. 3. Opposite the guesthouse are a traditional market and a large supermarket, making it easy to buy groceries and cook back at the guesthouse."

"The room was good value for money, spacious, and had a large balcony. I had a PS5, but I didn't have an account, no gaming internet, and the network was slow; it took all night to download one game. Then, the main problem was that my room had a persistent rotten egg smell, I don't know if it was the air conditioner or something else. The staff checked it once during my stay, but it didn't work. Finally, the bathroom light was poorly designed; it was a sensor light, and it would turn off halfway through a shower, requiring me to open the door for it to turn back on."

"Super friendly staff and clean room! The bed was really comfortable and easy to access to the tram! I love to walk, so I walked to the metro station, but it was still easy to transport and safe neighborhood! There is not much surrounding, so it was pretty quiet during the night! I would love to stay again!"
