Guest UserThe front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation...

First and foremost, the service is the best I've encountered in dozens of European countries. From the concierge to the front desk to room service, you truly feel honored and comfortable. The valet always leaves my car immaculately clean before handing it over to me, and even provides bottled water based on the number of people in the car before departure. Such thoughtful details. The hotel's location and amenities are also excellent. This is a hotel brand under the UAE Royal Group, and I highly recommend it!

We booked 4D3N for our vacation in Matlid Budapest. We arrived very late at the hotel but the arrival experience is superb.
We book Matlid King room at room 105 , the room is very spacious and very advance IOT use in the room eg: electric curtain, lighting & air conditioners.
The bathroom is very beautifully decorated with blue & gold tiles with big bathtub enough for 2 persons to soak together. Bathroom Experience: 10/10
They provide very comfortable bed, mattress, pillows and blanket. We had excellent 3 nights rest
The hotel serve most delicious breakfast with lots of various options to choose from, I can say one of the best Breakfast for our this Europe trip. The staffs are very attentive and well-trained.
breakfast Experience: 10/10
A must try dinner at Wolfgang Puck if you stay here, the chefs are super talented to create delicious art dinner. I enjoyed their Door to door cocktail as well.

Guest UserAmong the riverside hotels, this one looks a bit dated from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The rooms have been renovated in the past two years, the lobby is very spacious, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The Danube river cruise pier is right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy below the hotel, and unfortunately, the front desk couldn't do much about it when I called. The hotel isn't too far from the main attractions, and overall, my experience was quite good. I booked a room with river and castle views, and the hotel provided a great room. They even delivered Chinese tea to my room upon check-in, which shows their thoughtfulness towards guests. Photo one shows the river and Buda Castle view from my hotel room, and photo two is the Marriott Hotel as seen from the cruise ship.

The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The breakfast was simple, and the music was too loud when I woke up.
The location wasn’t convenient for me, and the monastery experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I stayed on the other side of Pest and had a much better time.

Wonderful hotel with an amazing location. Radisson Basilica is hitting all the right things - newly opened and modern but also with a great staff, especially the reception. One thing I must say, cleaning team is also excellent and professional

Anonymous UserCheck-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Stephen_Yang29It's decent. The front desk service was fine, though the hotel definitely isn't quite five-star. However, it's conveniently located and the breakfast was quite impressive. I'd recommend staying here. It's a good value-for-money option. The parking garage uses an elevator system, so be careful.

Guest UserThis hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's within easy walking distance to many of Budapest's famous attractions, such as the Parliament Building, Fisherman's Bastion, and Chain Bridge. This saved me a lot of travel time during my trip, allowing me to explore the charm of this beautiful city at a more relaxed pace. During my stay, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. This stay not only added convenience to my trip but also filled my entire Budapest journey with wonderful memories.
