Scenic Hotels in Budapest

"We spent three nights at this hotel with our two children (8 and 11 years old) and were completely satisfied all around. We really liked the hotel, both the rooms and the overall atmosphere. The child-friendliness is particularly noteworthy. There are dedicated play areas for children in both the lobby and the restaurant. In the lobby, there's something for every age. The highlight for our children was the Xbox, which kept them perfectly entertained. The breakfast was excellent and left nothing to be desired. There was a large selection of dishes, so there was truly something for everyone. We were particularly impressed by the beverage station: various tea and coffee specialties, fresh tea to brew yourself, and a juicer with which you could prepare fresh juice. Another plus point is the small pool. While you shouldn't expect a large spa area, it was perfect for cooling down for an hour or two, especially with the hot temperatures. Furthermore, the pool was never overcrowded, so we could enjoy it in a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The hotel also has a modern fitness room. Although we didn't use it, it made a very well-maintained, new, and well-equipped impression. For guests who want to train even on vacation, this is certainly another plus. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can unreservedly recommend the hotel, especially to families with children. We would stay here again anytime. I would also like to add that all the staff were very helpful and friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. It is a large but nevertheless a very quiet hotel. You could sleep very peacefully at night."

"On the day of my check-in, when I mentioned my desire for a Chain Bridge view room, the front desk staff at Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only kindly upgraded me to the last available one for free. The panoramic view of the Lion Bridge at sunset from the floor-to-ceiling window was absolutely stunning. Our local tour guide also commented on the hotel's excellent location; you can cross the street directly from the hotel's entrance to get onto the Lion Bridge, and it's also very close to Castle Hill. For breakfast, in addition to fruits, cold cuts, and bread, items like coffee, eggs, and waffles are made fresh from the menu. The room was equipped with an electric kettle, and complimentary items included a bottle of the hotel's own brand wine, a bottle of mineral water, and a bottle of sparkling water. The 'good night' chocolate on the bed was a nice touch too. The only minor drawback was the slightly small room size. If I ever visit again, I would definitely choose Hotel Clark Budapest - Adults Only!"

"Location is perfect as very near to chain bridge and castle. Can walk around to all the attractions or take bus or tram as both are nearby. If you have bulky luggage, little troublesome as hotel is on a slope of 25 metres. It’s old hotel, so be prepared…aircon not cool enough. Breakfast was nice. Filtered cool water provided at lobby, good taste and saves money."

"The window faced the Parliament building directly – what an incredible view! The hotel is right by the Danube River, and it's an easy walk to Fisherman's Bastion. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. Definitely worth recommending!"

"Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The location is absolutely incredible !!! Just step outside, and you’re already in the heart of the city, surrounded by its most iconic landmarks. The service exceeded all expectations! We were warmly welcomed and even offered early check-in, which was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the coffee was really good . Every detail made us feel genuinely cared for- we would return without hesitation!"

"The front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation..."

"This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying."

"The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!"

"Good 1. Location was amazing, i could reach commercial area easily by walking, but it’s a bit far from the parliament, around 20 mins walk 2. Breakfast included, buffet breakfast with normal breakfast choices e.g. scrambled eggs, croissant, etc 3. Was clean and quiet Needs some improvement 1. It was a bit crowded at the lobby when I arrived so had to wait for check in 2. The shape of the room was a bit odd, i don’t if it was only mine but the window was so small to call it as a window"
