Amazing
GGuest UserLovely appt which we unfortunately didn’t spend that much time in because we were sightseeing 12 hours a day! The breakfast was nice, excellent coffee. Room clean, had everything we needed. Reception team helpful.
GGuest UserThe location is extremely convenient, situated in the Buda district close to the Danube River. Getting to Pest is just a short walk across the bridge. However, since my visit coincided with the F1 event, accommodation prices were significantly inflated. Personally, I'd recommend staying in Pest, as most of the dining, entertainment, and attractions are located there. Fisherman's Bastion is a very convenient 5-minute walk away, but there isn't much else to do in the immediate vicinity. The hotel room was quite small but very clean, and the service was good. Overall, I would still highly recommend it.
GGuest UserThe hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.
GGuest UserHotel Review: A Cozy Stay in Budapest
I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Budapest, and my experience was quite pleasant.
Overall Ambiance:
This hotel offers a more home-like environment rather than the traditional professional hotel experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which made it easy to unwind during my stay.
Location:
While the hotel may appear to be slightly distant from the city center, I found that accessing the main attractions was not an issue. With a variety of convenient transportation options, including trams and the metro, reaching the heart of Budapest was straightforward and manageable. It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected.
Service:
The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags.
Room Comfort and Amenities:
My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory.
Dining:
The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience.
Conclusion:
In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.
栖栖木This hotel is great if you're just passing through, as it's conveniently located near Keleti train station. However, it's a bit far from the city center. Luckily, Budapest has excellent public transport. We bought a 24-hour pass, so it only took about 20 minutes to get downtown.
The room itself was pretty standard and very clean. But I have to mention the noise issue. I specifically chose a room with no view, not facing the busy main street. Yet, the inner courtyard was still noisy, and I particularly disliked the humming sound of machinery. Honestly, car noise would have been preferable. So, if you're sensitive to noise, I highly recommend checking it out beforehand.
The front desk strongly recommended adding breakfast, and at 17 euros per person, it wasn't overpriced. It saved us the hassle of finding a restaurant early in the morning, and the variety was excellent. I definitely recommend trying it!
GGuest UserThe hotel room is clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel as the location is near to the Pier where we will board our Danube cruise. The room has a nice view of the river.
The hotel facilities are good, service is attentive, receptionist is helpful.
JJourneywithfitOne of my favourite hotels! We were fortunate to get a room with a fantastic view overlooking the Danube River and the Parliament Building. The location is extremely central, just a short walk from many landmarks such as Fisherman’s Bastion and the Széchenyi Bridge. Most places are easily walkable, and we ended up exploring Budapest mostly on foot.
The hotel service was good overall. The staff were helpful and assisted us with restaurant reservations upon arrival. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym with new machines, as well as a sauna.
GGuest UserMy boyfriend booked the hotel for my birthday and the hotel prepared dessert, fruits and Champagne for us for celebrating my birthday, it’s so lovely and much appreciated for this. Also, there was a mini bar in the room, we could get free drinks every day as well as coffee machine. The view of the room is good, we could see the city from the window. Overall, it’s a cute place to stay with a cheap price.
GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
