New Hotels in Matsuyama

"The location is excellent. Right across the street is the main shopping street, where you can find plenty of options for food, drinks, and shopping. If you turn left after leaving the hotel, you can walk up to Matsuyama Castle. Along the way, you'll see trendy shops, stores selling local specialty oranges, and souvenir shops. On the main street, there's a udon noodle shop (the one in my photo) that perfectly suited my Shanghai palate with its fresh and slightly sweet flavor. That was our breakfast in Matsuyama. Our room was on a high floor, and with the window open, we had a great view of Matsumoto Castle and Bansuiso Villa. Most of the guests staying at this hotel seemed to be Korean. One of the middle-aged women at the front desk spoke excellent Chinese. The room was a bit small, but the convenient location made up for it, though the price was slightly on the higher side."

"The guesthouse owner was friendly and responded to messages very quickly, which made me feel very safe. The environment was exactly as pictured – comfortable, clean, and spacious, with all necessary amenities. There was parking available right in front, which was very convenient for those driving. Located in a residential area, the guesthouse was quiet and peaceful at night, which was fantastic. There were also convenience stores nearby, making shopping very convenient. It's a great place for family trips! 👍👍"

"I originally planned to stay at a different hotel, but it was fully booked, so I quickly searched for alternatives and found this one. At the time of booking, there were no reviews on Trip.com, and I was a bit hesitant, but I decided on it because it was very close to the free airport shuttle pick-up point for Koreans. Contrary to my worries about the lack of reviews, the staff were always friendly and immediately fulfilled my requests. Given the typical size of Japanese hotel rooms, it wasn't very spacious, but it was sufficient for two people, and there was enough room to open two 26-inch suitcases. I booked a non-smoking room, and they assigned me a very clean room. When I opened the curtains, I could see the Iyotetsu train passing by. Even though trains passed by, it wasn't noisy at all. The soundproofing was good, so I didn't lose any sleep due to noise. During my 5-night, 6-day stay, I mostly encountered male staff members, and they always greeted me without fail when I came and went, which made me feel they were very friendly. On the day of check-out, I was waiting to store my luggage, and a female staff member approached me first, asked what I needed, and immediately helped me store my bags."
