JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserI came to Moganshan for a spring outing. The location of the B&B is very good and convenient for travel. The B&B itself is very beautiful, with a large lawn and yard in front and back + a whole independent house. There are 6 rooms in total, but the public activity area is very large. The design is very attentive. The proprietress takes care of it herself. I drank local tea and had a breakfast with B&B characteristics. The appearance and taste are both taken into account. It is a very good experience.

JJade TallowinWe had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road.
I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too.
Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

PPinkGirlExtremely sweet staff who are extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was quick and swift. We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite
If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

GGuest UserChoosing this B&B in Moganshan was a unique experience. Staying in an old Republican-era house and getting to know the charming mother and daughter owners was a rare experience. Although Huang Fu's former residence is located in a bustling city, the moment you enter the courtyard, you're instantly struck by tranquility. The ambiance and furnishings of this large courtyard are truly worth savoring, reflecting the B&B owner's artistic taste and meticulous attention to detail. You can fill your time here with so many interesting things, but life is so short. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and bring them back for a quick chat.

WWangmintingThis hotel is truly beautiful and one of the larger establishments in Moganshan. I particularly loved the lobby and restaurant – they were incredibly lush and green! I rarely see lobbies and restaurants with such abundant greenery and flowers. It felt very chic and fresh, even more photogenic than many of the trendy cafes in Moganshan. Our room was spacious, and we were upgraded to the 'Prague' room. I do have a couple of suggestions: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and I kept bumping my shins on it, which was painful. Also, the shower only had a rain shower head. The water pressure was great, but it was impossible to rinse off soap suds that splattered further away on the floor, so you'd end up stepping in bubbles when you got out. Finally, the toilet door wasn't fully sealed, which is a bit of an issue if you need privacy.

AAlexRJSuperb stay, in a perfect location amidst a bamboo forest, far from the crowds and making you feel fully relaxed and comfortable. The vibe at the house is super cozy, the place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with warm colors and a home-vibe all around. Ernest and his team were super supportive since the first moment of the reservation and assisted us immediately through WeChat if any question. We also enjoyed their exquisite Chinese local dinner set; it was tasty and fresh! The breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the bedroom was really amazing, with one of the best views I’ve had in a countryside hotel by far; just spectacular to relax and get a perfect getaway from the city. PP CurrallUpon arrival we were warmly greeted as we parked our car in front of the hotel. The level of service continued to be extremely warm and friendly to the point of departure when they checked the road for us to leave. The location rating is more subjective. It’s very convenient as a base to explore Moganshan and doesn’t have the access complications of staying up on top of the mountain or the hustle and bustle of being in the town which gets a lot of traffic congestion. We enjoyed the seclusion and having a car it was ideal. The room was cosy with a good AC, quality accessories and a reasonable view, all appropriate for a 4 star hotel. We really liked the living and lounging areas around the grounds, where you can relax and read in seclusion. The swimming pool was perfect. Breakfast was a set menu and acceptable. Overall we felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Big thanks to the staff who did everything to make our stay pleasurable.

RRiluoerxiPerched 800 meters high on a mountaintop, this century-old castle has been beautifully renovated, surrounded by a sea of bamboo and clouds. The infinity pool on the cliff edge is stunning, and the breakfast at the Nacked Heart restaurant is exquisite and delicious. Our cliff-view suite directly faced the valley, and enjoying tea on the balcony was a truly relaxing experience. The dedicated butler service was warm and attentive. It was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!
