"We stayed here during the Dragon Boat Festival, which also coincided with a birthday celebration, and our family had a wonderful experience. The environment is absolutely stunning, and they offer a fantastic array of unique activities. Even though it rained for several days, keeping us mostly indoors, we were never bored. We enjoyed making 'zongzi' (rice dumplings), bamboo weaving, pottery, crafting mugwort bouquets, and making sachets – so many different crafts! There was also horseback riding, celebrating a pony's birthday, and even 'yoga' interactions with the horses. These novel and fun experiences delighted both adults and children. A big thank you to our butler, Joan, for her attentive and proactive service, and to the super nice staff at the equestrian center who interacted and chatted with my daughter, sharing their knowledge about horses. My daughter especially loved Ty, saying he was her favorite. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the staff at the Naked Retreats cafe, had excellent service attitudes. While some dishes at the Western restaurant weren't quite to our taste, the restaurant manager handled our feedback gracefully from a customer's perspective. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be back."

"I chose this place after seeing many reviews. It's like a sanatorium in Shanghai, and I often heard people speaking Shanghainese among the guests. The location is next to a villa complex, and you can walk to nearby attractions. If you're driving, many sights can be enjoyed right from the road, which is very convenient. A friendly reminder: you can't drive into the attractions themselves, so this location is perfect for self-driving tours. I stayed in the main building, which was built later. The decor has a lovely民國 (Republic of China era) style. It seems some of the pre-liberation villas are also occupied, but I'm not sure if they all belong to Moganshanzhuang. The best part was that during the May Day holiday, Moganshan was rainy and freezing. But the room actually had a heating air conditioner! I spent a wonderfully warm night in the rainy mountain, which was incredibly thoughtful. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"The homestay is near the Moganshan Scenic Area. The location is unique and the transportation is very convenient. The time to arrive at night is relatively late, but the boss is still waiting at the door enthusiastically, and he also gave his own fruit, which is very delicious. The boss cooks very delicious! "Our three-day, two-night stay in Moganshan was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is located on the western side of the mountainside, offering a superb location with unbeatable views and a tranquil environment. The balcony views directly face the hundred-year-old Naked Castle. The hotel's back entrance is just a 100-meter walk up some steps to Chairman Mao's former residence, and many other attractions are very close by. The restaurant service was excellent – friendly and welcoming. We received complimentary fruit and bottled water. Both the breakfast and our à la carte dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Five stars, highly recommend!"

"In early summer, even the mountain breeze tastes sweet! Every Mother's Day is just the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold, so this year we chose to spend Mother's Day in the mountains for Mom! We were lucky enough to find a guesthouse run by Sister Hong, and we had a wonderful and comfortable three-day, two-night stay! Even the kids could feel Sister Hong's friendliness and played hide-and-seek with her. The guesthouse auntie was very diligent, always cleaning and busy, so the guesthouse was very clean and tidy. Her cooking was also excellent; we always finished our breakfasts! The location is very convenient; it's truly convenient to go anywhere! This time, we experienced bamboo shoot digging, enjoyed the guesthouse's camping afternoon tea, and had a variety of activities. The Angela rose pergola was in full bloom, and the air was filled with a delicate fragrance—it was wonderful and could heal everything! "We had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road. I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too. Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!"
