It was such a bizarre sight; I've never encountered anything like it in all my hotel stays. When I complained to the staff, their responses were very perfunctory. The room facilities were inadequate; bath towels and hand towels were even draped in the toilet because there were no wall shelves in the bathroom. Recommended by a friend, and Hotel Fengdu didn't disappoint! The hotel has a simple yet elegant style, perfect for photos. The in-room amenities are smart and convenient; controlling the lights and curtains by voice was a breeze. The bedding was comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness – I slept soundly all night. The hygiene was impeccable, with a clean and bright washroom area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff (Yibei) were warm and natural, not overly intrusive, which made for a relaxed and comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back!

Back in Qiqihar for business, my first choice is still Hemei. The service is consistently excellent. The front desk upgraded my room, and check-in was super fast since I arrived in the afternoon. I went to the Chinese restaurant and had a bowl of 'dalu mian' and tomato and egg noodles – tasted just like home, and only about ten yuan! The next day, I was back at the Chinese restaurant for lunch. I needed to sort out some documents, and since I had already checked out, they found me a private room. The dishes were outstanding as always, and the value for money was unbeatable. After lunch, with my documents ready, I went to the hotel entrance and bought some of their homemade braised chicken, pig trotters, and other marinated goodies – absolutely delicious! In short, whenever I go to Qiqihar, Hemei is still my top pick.

The hotel owner is helpful and kind to assist me to find my way around Qiqiha'er. She waited for my arrival at the railway station and showed me the way to her hotel. She advised me to do my own tour to Zhalong nature reserve park by taking public bus 306. Or take a Didi e-hailing. However, the only problem is the place and the room size are just too small and difficult to move around. There are people smoking in the hotel and I can't really stand the cigarette smoke everywhere. I hope the owner must make policy not to allow guests to smoke inside the room and hotel space.
