GGuest UserAndrea Wu's service was utterly unsatisfactory. She was unhelpful in resolving my issues and spoke in an uncomfortable, off-putting manner. Her stern and dismissive expression, coupled with her general demeanor, clearly shows she is unfit for a front desk role. Despite it being quite late, around 5 PM, her inefficient handling unnecessarily prolonged my check-in, leaving my family waiting for a long time in the lobby. This showed a complete disregard for guests' comfort. As a returning guest, I feel this particular receptionist severely detracts from the hotel's overall quality and reputation.

GGuest UserSuper clean, spacious, & beautifully decorated in a minimalist style! Brand new building, so everything is new & modern, including plenty of electrical outlets. Shower is huge & has a door to separate it from the rest of the bathroom, unlike many in Asia. Really nice toiletries, free unlimited bottled water, &and full-size fridge/freezer in the lobby where you can store food, meds, or chill your drinking water. We stayed twice, one week apart, & the bathroom rugs were cute & different both times.
Some noise from the traffic, airport, and nearby construction is audible, but easily drowned out with some white noise. No food nearby, but you can get something before you leave the airport and they sell cookie/cracker/chip type snacks in the lobby. Or, of course, use apps to get things delivered.
Convenient location 2-3 subway stops from the airport (depending on terminal), then a 10-15 minute walk along a mostly flat path. A swivel carry-on size suitcase was able to wheel along on all 4 wheels except for a couple places where it got tipped onto two wheels to get up a curb or over gravel. GGuest UserI stayed at the Benz hotel for a 4 day shopping and foodie trip at the end of February 2026 and it turned out to be a gem. I arrived late around 23:00 and was greeted by a friendly staff that had my room ready. I had just taken a short 18 minute walk to the hotel from the A22 Laojie River Station where I arrived on the direct blue commuter train from the airport. At first I could not find the Benz hotel entrance, but after asking for directions I was pointed to the front desk of the Bentley hotel where on the wall behind the desk clerks are both hotel names, Bentley and Benz. When I had booked the room the Bentley was offered at a slightly higher cost, and seeing I was on a budget trip alone, I booked the Benz. After checking in, I was directed to the Benz hotel elevator around the corner of the front desk. Further down are the elevators for the Bentley,here is the noticeable difference between the two hotels, The Benz is one elevator approximately 3 feet by 6 feet, and the Bentley has 2 very large beautiful elevators. When I got to my room I did my normal checks for bugs, cleanliness and non-smell. All had passed with flying colors. The room was great with amenities and plenty in size. The bed was firm but not hard, the TV was hard to hear when the AC was running but besides those things it's a great deal and place to stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Healthy, fresh and hot and a new menu each day. It was more in the asian style and not like your western style, which I much prefer. The coffee machine was perfect and the selection of food was abundant. Overall I would stay again. Public transportation was close by, Taxi, Trains and bus stations within blocks and easy walking. The street has a lot of construction and could be rather intimidating, if you are not the type that can feel comfortable with the odd surroundings that are here.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Zhongli Night Market, making its location super convenient. The room was spacious, and the bed was really soft and comfortable. The breakfast had a great selection of main courses too, and it was delicious.

JJulianto Chuen+ located exactly beside of Laojie River MRT station (A22). About 09 station away from Airport Terminal 2 (A13).
+ 10 minutes walking to Zhongli Night Market (sell local food and some accessories, open start from 18:00 up)
+ Room very big. Newly refurbish, have bathup inside. We book families room, and got 02 kingsize bed inside.

* dont googling this hotel at google maps, you will get lost.. when i arrive airport, and typing this hotel name, the result is exactly same name hotel, but far away from origin location. Open this hotel from trip.com , and take guidance navigation maps from there
* this hotel doesn’t have big billboard name, so you have to take extra caution while looking for this hotel. Exactly besides of Laojie River station - Le Midi Hotel. Lobby at 30th floor.
* this hotel located at Taoyuan Area, not in main city Taipei. Suitable for those who need short transit. i book this hotel because i have morning flight tomorrow at 09:00. MRT already open from 06:00, and only need 25minutes to reach airport.

EExpatThis is a great place just 33 minutes from the Airport. You can Uber, Bus, and half-way HSR Airport Transit. The key thing to note about this location is that you need to bring your own toiletries and dry slippers. Towels, kettle, tea, television and restaurants are available easily. It’s a lovely village and it’s enough distance from the old street to bypass all of the food scents you’re going to taste. The breakfast was traditional Chinese. I highly suggest visiting the café at the wooden Ecological museum and also the coffee shop next door. There’s many side streets which offer unique charm as well. There’s a vegan pizzeria in (Letaoli in Shop) a few minutes away and there’s many stores to go browse through. Stop was super friendly and the views from the upper floor or amazing. There’s a lovely farm to walk to and a ton of temples. As a foreigner, I felt very welcome and everyone was quite friendly in the area. Many kind families within.

AAnonymous UserBeyond its proximity to the airport, I couldn't find any redeeming qualities. The reviews mentioned it was close to that FamilyMart, but it's not close at all. You have to walk down a big main road, and while they say it's a 10-minute walk, if the traffic isn't good, it's more like 15 minutes, so I decided against going there. The soundproofing in the room was also incredibly bad. I heard the baby crying in the opposite room all night, and then starting around 3 AM, there were incredibly loud airplane noises taking off. I paid over 500 yuan just to get zero rest. I would have been better off sleeping at the airport. There aren't many places to eat nearby, so you're stuck ordering takeout, and the bubble tea that arrived was the worst I've ever had in my life.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel facilities are mostly complete; some things are a bit old, but it's clear they've been maintained and replaced. The toilet and bathtub are new, but the lights and furniture are a bit dated, and the windows are a bit hard to open. The hygiene is acceptable; the bathroom has a slight odor, but it's tolerable. The bedding was clean, but some corners were quite dusty.
