We are an elderly retired couple who stayed at the Fudi Hotel for a relaxing trip. We were originally assigned a twin room on the 5th floor, but since my wife had leg pain and couldn't walk, we were arranged to stay at the Meizhiju Express Hotel instead. The hotel staff and the owner were very welcoming. The twin beds were comfortable and the room was quiet at night. Overall, we were very satisfied and give it a great review!

II was thoroughly impressed by my stay at Mercure Dongtai Huanghai Forest Park! The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service! Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so delightful!

It's an interesting location--an artist village--way out in the bucolic and rustic countryside. I enjoyed my time staying in a house with the 2nd floor. The service was very good (including being driven around a forest park, the village, and to another bigger village for party supplies). The location is very close (walking distance) to the crane (bird) wildlife refuge. The restaurant there is also really good with a nice variety of selections. Everyone in the village was quite friendly and helpful.

Our stay there was enjoyable. One of our only notes for improvement was about the safe in our room not being ready ahead of time. Luckily the staff assisted in getting a new one, as the one in our room was not working, but they had to go through three broken ones just to find one that worked. Another note would be about the lack of air conditioning in the elevator and hallway. They set front desk in the 4th floor , but put gym and laundry room in the 1st floor where is no air conditioning and no security, the 1st floor is open access to anyone which made me nervous while doing laundry in the might.

Not bad, but the room had a damp musty odor that wasn’t pleasant. It was clean overall. Good breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay in my wife’s hometown of Dongtai.

This wasn’t my first time staying in Mingcheng Jinjiang hotel but I must say this time they reminded me how great they are.. I contacted them in advance asking them if they will provide temporary residence registration form. They were super professional especially Sandy Li, who made sure the form was ready. Check-in was smooth and quick, car parking was super convenient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I asked for a bottle of water, they sent 3 bottles. They were amazing throughout my stay there. It’s a pity I missed breakfast both days as I woke up late hahaha.. but overall an amazing experience.. will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yancheng.

The coupons purchased on Ctrip during the ”Double Eleven” event are absolutely worth the money The hotel is located in the Dayang Bay Ecological Tourism Area, with pavilions, lush flowers and trees, winding paths, and green water, bridges across rainbows, weeping willows, and reeds and lotus leaves. It is an excellent place that makes people feel relaxed and happy. The hotel is an antique building, and from the door card to various arrangements and facilities, you can see the details and high requirements. The service is excellent, especially Xiao Liu at the front desk, who is thoughtful, meticulous and enthusiastic, and gave us a good stay experience. The food is good. The egg pancakes for breakfast are super delicious, and the fermented bean curd is dense and clean, which is excellent I will stay here again if I have the chance

The hotel is located inside a park, next to a man-made lake, high ceiling. There are plenty of parking if you drive there. The service is not what you expected from a 5 star hotel, almost none. You have to ask them to change bed sheets if you stay there for more than one day. The water temperature in the shower was unpredictable, you can be burned if not extremely careful. Food was ok.

I really enjoyed this hotel--great value for the condition/location of the rooms. They are more like apartments in houses. The hotel and surrounding area is very clean, quiet, and beautiful especially at night with the lights. The hotel staff was very helpful in picking me up late at night as well as ensuring I got a taxi and got to the train station when I checked out. Xiao Xue, who works at the front desk, even accompanied me to the train station an hour's drive away in Yancheng. She also made sure my belongings were stored from noon-6pm after I checked out and was exploring the area. Two of the other front desk also helped me as well. As the location of the hotel is quite rural, I would recommend getting a taxi from the front desk well ahead of your departure time if you are leaving by bus or train.
