"This hotel was recommended by a friend. When my taxi arrived, I was immediately struck by its grand exterior. Stepping inside, the lobby felt spacious and bright, and there was a pleasant aroma. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently answered all my questions – a huge plus right away! After swiping my card and taking the elevator up, I opened the room door, inserted the key card, and as the electric curtains opened, the lights came on, illuminating the entire room. The bathroom is separated from the main room by a sliding door, and the vanity is wide. Overall, it's excellent, from the room's environment and layout to the very helpful front desk staff. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Quanzhou."

"I chose the Qixu Bell Tower Hotel, and the location is fantastic. Most of the places I wanted to visit were nearby. The only minor drawback is that the room was a bit small. The toiletries are a collaboration with Wenxian, and the 'Citron Smoke & Sandalwood' scent is lovely. The hotel's Bangke Restaurant serves a Michelin-worthy Black Pearl meal that's easy to appreciate. I also participated in the 'Bangbei Kaihui' activity, which was a lot of fun!"

"A truly satisfying stay, it's rare to find such an excellent hotel experience in Quanzhou. The check-in process was full of ceremony – hand cleansing, tea tasting, and a 'seeking water and asking the way' ritual. Plus, every guest received a floral hairpin bracelet, all very characteristic of Quanzhou. The toiletries were my favorite Le Labo 33. It rained throughout my trip to Quanzhou, so I didn't plan many activities, but I was never bored at the hotel. You can book handicraft workshops, guided tours of Kaiyuan Temple, and more. The hotel is right next to West Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping! I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit."

"This is my fifth time staying at a Huajiantang hotel, and this one is brand new. The location isn't as good for me as the Quanzhou Laojiu, but the rooms are definitely huge and luxurious. It's a bit of a shame that only the suites have bathtubs, and there's no pool in any of the rooms. Also, none of the packages include breakfast; you have to pay extra for it, though the breakfast quality is quite good."

The common areas of the guesthouse were very photogenic; we often went to the pool to take pictures."

"The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The crabs and shrimp were incredibly plump and sweet, much better than what I buy at my local market. Even though the oysters were small, they were very fresh. Drizzled with garlic soy sauce, their taste rivaled that of a seafood buffet. For breakfast, they had traditional Fujian dishes like 'mian xian hu' (vermicelli paste), 'oyster omelet,' and 'shacha noodles.' These were even cleaner and tasted just as good as what you'd find at local snack shops. If you're traveling alone, I feel like their breakfast alone is enough. However, the crabs are very popular, so either go early or allow enough time to wait for the second batch. Service: Both warm and respectful, they'll accommodate reasonable requests. Cleanliness: Above the average for Atour hotels nationwide. Even the window screens were clean. Environment: Their lobby has a small shrine for worship! It's quite elaborate, and my mom even took a picture with it (a prime example of someone who isn't superstitious). Late-night congee: A pleasant surprise was that they also offered 'mian xian hu' for supper. After eating out all day, it was so comforting to head straight to the restaurant for a bowl of clear 'mian xian hu' – it felt great on my stomach."
