Romantic Hotels in Nagoya

"Location is 5 mins walk from Nagoya main station if you're coming from another city. Easy access to bus, subway and to inner city (Sakae). Guest rooms are on 18 floor+ so you can expect a good view from the room. Amenities are not in the room so you need to pick it up from lobby. I don't know what happened but I've got no conpliment water on the first 2 nights and got it on the 3rd. The blanket and pillow is superb, Mitsui standard."

"The hotel is located in the 榮商圈, close to many delicious food options . However, it is about a 15-minute walk from train stations, which can be quite challenging when carrying luggage. The rooms, like many other Japanese hotels, are relatively small. The breakfast was tasty, offering three choices: Japanese, Chinese, and sandwiches. The last day since I had an early flight, I hoped the hotel could arrange a take-away breakfast, but unfortunately, they couldn't as the restaurant only opens at 7 AM."

"This hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!"

"Every time I come to Nagoya, I stay at this hotel. I love it! It's very close to the JR station, there's a convenience store downstairs, and the room has a huge floor-to-ceiling window! The view is absolutely amazing!"

"The hotel is located in a relatively remote area, so it might be a bit difficult to carry luggage if you're not driving. However, it offers a high level of privacy, and the rooms are spacious and provide toiletries and skincare products. Only smoking rooms are available, but there is an air purifier in each room."
