This was overall a pleasant stay. The physical facilities look like they could use some additional upkeep, especially the walls and carpeting in the corridors. The gym is in a separate building and is not very convenient. However the staff and management at the front desk are extremely courteous and helpful, and the other staff in the hotel, especially the restaurant and housekeeping staff are as well. The location of the hotel is convenient though more crossings across the road would be helpful. Breakfast is tasty and includes some local specialties.

Clean, spacious, modern and well maintained room. Was offered a room upgrade. Convenient location with eateries, supermarket and mall next to it. Decent breakfast spread. Offers supper too. Excellent separate washer and dryer machines. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Especially Amy who assisted me with my transportation to Hailing Island and suggestions to local attractions. The city skyline can be seen when you open the window, and the neon lights at night shine into the room through the gauze curtains, creating a great atmosphere. The hotel cleverly combines modern design with retro elements, and every decoration is full of ingenuity. The staff thoughtfully prepared handwritten welcome cards and local snacks, making people feel the warmth of home. Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace in the early morning and watching the sun shine across the city is probably the most healing moment of the trip.

The hotel's design and decor are aesthetically pleasing. The rooms have separate wet and dry areas, are spacious and comfortable, and the toiletries are of very good quality, showing attention to detail. The breakfast is very plentiful and well-prepared. During this business trip, I found parking convenient, and although located in a bustling area, it felt very quiet and comfortable. Overall, it offers excellent value for money! I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next business trip!

The hotel is clean and hygienic, which is good. 3 complaints: 1. The switch setting in the room is simply inhumane. The bedside can only be turned off. After waking up, I didn't turn on the light. I had to go to the TV in the dark to turn it on. I stayed in so many hotels, but I didn't expect to find the switch in the dark for a long time! 2. The shower in the room is leaking. I came out wearing a bath towel and called the front desk, but the human could never get through. I called no less than 10 times, and each time I got through, I hung up. I had no choice but to bite the bullet and continue to use the shower with two water sprays. 3. I sweated all over when I ate breakfast at the buffet. It was the first time I sweated all over when I had breakfast in a hotel. There were not many people at breakfast, but the air conditioner was not cold. Then the variety was average, and there was not even an omelette. I asked for a bowl of noodle soup. I didn't know if I didn't hear or didn't understand Mandarin, and there was no response. I saw the person next to me speaking Cantonese and it worked, so I switched to Cantonese and got a response immediately. It is known as the best hotel in Yangxi. Are the people of Yangxi more tolerant?

I always stay here for business trips, and the front desk staff always upgrade my room for free. They're friendly and have great smiles. The rooms are spacious, meticulously clean, and very quiet, so I get a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread is also quite varied.

Environment: This room type consists of two interconnected rooms, separated by two doors. This setup is quite good, especially when traveling with elderly people and children, as it provides better sound insulation, ensuring everyone can sleep undisturbed. The room size is also very generous; our one-year-old baby could even run around in it. Cleanliness: Overall, it was very clean. The only minor drawback was the floor cleanliness; our baby's feet were covered in dust after running around barefoot. Also, the elderly members of our family mentioned feeling a bit itchy after sleeping on the sheets, which hasn't been an issue in several other hotels we've stayed at recently. Facilities: The family-friendly facilities are excellent. There's a water park, an outdoor slide, and an indoor playground, all of which our one-year-old baby thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast: This deserves special praise. The breakfast spread was extensive and the quality was very good.

It was really tired to drive from Kunming to Hailing Island, so I stayed at this Xingyun Guanlan Hotel for three nights and mainly took a break. The overall stay feels very comfortable, giving a real reference to friends who come by car. 📍 Location and self-driving friendliness: It is very easy to find with the navigation, not in the most crowded core area, but it is very convenient to drive out. The most concerned thing for people who drive by themselves is parking. The hotel has a special parking space. This is really good! You don't have to come back every day to find a parking space toss, park the car and go upstairs to rest. It is only a few minutes' drive to Dajiao Bay or nearby seafood stalls. 🏠 Rooms and Facilities: The room booked has a good view, open the curtains to see the sea view, and I feel very comfortable. The island is relatively humid, but this room does not have the moldy smell, the quilt sheets are very dry, I am very concerned about this. The dehumidification effect of the air conditioner is also powerful. The room was cleaned very clean and there was no dust. Sound insulation is OK, the rest is not noisy at night. 🛁 Bathroom and details: The water pressure in the bath is quite high, the water temperature is stable, and it is especially relieved after a day of running outside. The toiletries provided are quite satisfactory, but they are not very useful if they bring them. 💁 Service: The front desk was good, the check-in was very fast, and we were enthusiastic to remind us where it was fun to ride a bike or drive around. 💡 Small suggestions for follow-up self-driving friends: 1. Hailing Island has strong ultraviolet rays during the day, and remember to do a good job of sun protection when you go out. 2. The car can be parked in the hotel, rent a small eDonkey ride in the town or near the scenic spot, and stop at any time, which is much more worry-free than driving to find a parking space (I have eaten the bitterness of finding a parking space before). In general, this hotel is very cost-effective, mainly a quiet and comfortable, very suitable for self-driving tourists to rest. Take a rest, then drive to the next stop!

Reception at arrival (midnight) was occupied by an arrogant employee, not helping at all. The other days, the receptionists were pretty good. Hotel was occupied from about 5% (estimation), breakfast was 1 possibility from 2 choices (rice congee or noodle soup). Surroundings is poor, many shops and restaurants closed, sea and beach full of garbage. Pools closed except very good pool on the roof of building 2. What to say more? The place looks like abandoned, not maintained, sad feeling.

The hotel boasts plenty of common areas, thoughtfully designed and well-appointed. On hot days, when you don't feel like venturing out, it's a great place to keep the kids entertained. The guest rooms are spacious, and we especially loved the large balcony with a view. There's ample storage space, which was perfect for keeping our luggage and personal belongings organized, preventing any clutter. Very satisfied!
