The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, is clean and hygienic, has a beautiful environment with a strong artistic atmosphere, and offers warm and attentive service. I stayed in a lake-view room with a balcony; the view from the window was stunning, with lush trees and emerald green lake water, perfect for a stroll. The hotel's beautiful environment is ideal for travelers looking to relax and unwind.

This was our first time at The Waterfront Beach Resort, and will be our new go to when in the area. We were treated so kindly by everyone we came into contact with. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a suite for my husbands bday. What a treat! Comfy beds, inviting area. We were here in Dec a few weeks before Christmas and it was so pretty! Fun events for the kids (didn’t travel with ours this time) but they had Santa and the Grinch to take pics with. Good food at Cabo Wabo for both dinner one night and the weekend breakfast buffet one morning. Parking was a little pricey ($50 per night), that ended up adding a bit to our stay, but seems pretty normal in California. Steps from the beach and beautiful ocean view from the room. 5/5 stars for us!

The hotel rooms are relatively new and exceptionally clean and new. Windows cannot be opened, but there is central air conditioning. It's very convenient to get to Disneyland; it's a 15-minute drive or a 30-minute bus ride, although waiting for the bus can be quite long, so driving is the best option. Valet parking at the hotel is also very convenient and inexpensive.

Great decor! Great food! Great location! I'll definitely go again on vacation. The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at in Irvine!

Disneyland Hotel is always a magical place to stay like all the other Disney Parks hotels my family has stayed at. Front Lobby staff always make things so easy and they’re always so welcoming and accommodating. One thing I wanted to point out was one staffer who clearly just works there expecting tips. Edward Chavez helped my family with their bags and not only was rude “I thought you guys were ready, but you’re there just taking pictures” and then expected a tip to the point that he provided his Venmo account to make sure he was compensated. What a blemish in what otherwise is typically a great experience at a Disney Parks hotel.

Leung tinGreat value for money! 👍🏻 The place was spotless, and the kids absolutely loved playing in the water. We really appreciated the spacious room and the bathroom's separate wet and dry areas. We originally booked for three days but liked it so much that we extended our stay. There are also plenty of restaurant choices nearby, all within a five-minute walk.

Although the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle bus to Disneyland, it's conveniently located nearby, with an Uber ride costing around $15. Valet parking is quite steep at $45 a day. Inside the room, the towels provided were rather dirty, and the bed setup was quite strange, with an excessive number of layers. To top it off, the front desk staff weren't particularly welcoming upon check-in.

In general this hotel is acceptable for the price range and consider how old this property is. There are two main complains about this hotel is the sound insulation and safety. Basically we heard all the noise from the hallway including next door who open and close the door, and shower, etc.. In addition, the gap of hotel room door between the bottom of the door and floor is big. While we stayed there, we concerned if someone could use tools to open our room door thru that gap.

Guest UserFacilities: Well-equipped.
Cleanliness: Very clean. Although not cleaned daily, you can request service at the front desk.
Location: Extremely convenient transportation. Right off the 405 freeway and only a 5-minute drive to South Coast Plaza. I always stay here.
Service: The front desk staff are very welcoming. EJ, in particular, was incredibly enthusiastic this time, leaving a lasting impression.
Breakfast: Standard American breakfast. The self-serve fruit bar is definitely my favorite part.
Surroundings: Plenty of restaurants, including Japanese and Korean BBQ, and Southeast Asian cuisine. It’s also very close to In-N-Out. A wide variety to choose from! Highly recommended!

The location is close to the sea, but it is sandwiched between two roads, so it's a bit of a detour if you go out for dinner. The room is large, with two TVs, but the facilities are old, and the service staff is nice. I stayed for two nights and the overall feeling was okay.
