Amazing
RRob Smith 16384Probably the most beautiful, well appointed property I've ever stayed in. Every detail here is high-end but not pretentious. The rooms are big and comfortable, the restaurants are amazing including a great food hall with lots of regional choices. Not to sound like a broken record but the pool is likely the best pool I've ever been to; so beautiful, with a calm ambiance. Lastly, the staff, without exception, is friendly and helpful. I'd completely recommend staying here.
GGuest UserThis is truly a beautiful resort. So glad a friend recommended it. We love to be away from the strip but close enough for shows. This place has everything you might want for a getaway. Many Great restaurants, superb service and reasonably priced.. try to get a room with a pool area view if you can. But the rooms are fabulous anywhere. We will be returning for sure.
GGuest UserThe hotel is huge and luxurious, my local friends said it's a super five-star. The first floor has a large **. The room is spacious, with complete amenities, and you can see the 'Big Ball' from the hotel. The sink was leaking a bit when we checked in, but the staff quickly came and fixed it, which completely exceeded my expectations.

GGuest UserI booked a room with a view of the Sphere, located on the 28th floor of the North Tower. The room was spacious and very clean.
From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you get an up-close view of the Sphere, which is even more stunning at night. You can also step out of the hotel and stroll along the Vegas Strip.
There's no coffee maker in the room, but if you need coffee, you can find it at the coffee shops or restaurants on the first or second floors. There's also a Starbucks in the concourse area of the lobby on the first floor.
The first and second floors boast many restaurants. For instance, Noodle Asia on the first floor is a 25-year-old Cantonese Chinese restaurant, serving both breakfast and regular meals. The food is incredibly authentic, and the staff all speak Chinese.
The indoor shopping arcade on the second floor is typically Venetian in style, featuring numerous brand-name stores and restaurants. The ceiling is designed to mimic an outdoor sky with blue skies and white clouds, and there are gondolas traversing the winding canals and small bridges, with gondoliers occasionally breaking into Italian opera.
The hotel also hosts shows, and you can book tickets in advance.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and came with slippers, plus it had two bathrooms. While the location isn't super convenient, you can take the tram from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur. Just a heads-up, don't touch anything in the minibar – a bottle of water is $18! Big thanks to the front desk for giving me several small bottles of water, otherwise, it would have been a real hassle.

LLynnlinJThe Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is to me the best hotel in Las Vegas and one of the finer hotels in the country. We choose it partly because it is dedicated to a luxury stay without all the commotion of the casinos. The staff is great and attentive from the moment you arrive. Even before you arrive there’s a welcome message from the staff to assist you with your arrival. The rooms are beautiful and along with the upgrades for Hilton Diamond members, every amenity is well appointed. The food is great, and the pool and spa are perfect without all of the crowds that you see at other hotels on the strip. This is truly a gem and oasis in the heart of Las Vegas and always our go to when in town.

GGuest UserHave stayed at this resort before. In my opinion it is the best hotel on the strip. Amazing location/central.
Rooms are all beautifully sized and i personally prefer the chelsea tower overlooking the bellagio fountains.
Mixed ages in the hotel and I have stayed here for trips with friends and solo.
Highly reconmend. Will return here again.

TTravelifeJoStayed at Vdara recently and wanted to share a few highlights and realities from the experience. The location isn’t ideal for public transport—you’ll need to walk about 10 minutes outdoor to reach the nearest bus stop (which is quite challenging in summer time with over 100F). However, the hotel is well connected to others like Park MGM and Bellagio, which are just a 10–15 minute indoor walk away or could take monorail.
Dining options directly at Vdara are quite limited. For a wider range, you may head to nearby hotels like Cosmopolitan or Bellagio, though most options there are on the pricier side. we ended up order uber for meal delivery, which is a less expensive option. Lyft is a good choice for getting around more easily, coz if u take bus to downtown, it can take an hour for a single ride.
Rooms come with a kitchen, which sounds convenient, but kitchenware isn’t provided unless requested. If you’re planning to cook, be prepared for a bit of a hike—nearest supermarket is about a 20-minute walk away. We also had an unfortunate experience on arrival: found leftovers from the previous guest in the kitchen—pretty disgusting. When we asked for a kettle and cups, the cups still had stains on them, which was disappointing and frankly, unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
Definitely some upsides in terms of location and connectivity, but for what you pay, the convenience and cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

SSimon892The hotel exterior is stylish and elegant, but the rooms are a bit dated. The bathroom had a persistent smell that wouldn't go away; we noticed it every time we entered the room. We stayed for three nights and informed the front desk about the issue. We couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked, but they promised to fix it and refund one night's resort fee. We thought it would be resolved after the 'repair,' but the smell remained the same. Additionally, the in-room phone was purely decorative and didn't work at all. I had to go down to the front desk and wait in line just to communicate with them. I hope they can improve the room's ventilation system.

GGuest UserUpon check-in, I didn't have any cash and the ATM nearby charged a $12 fee, so I couldn't tip. As a result, I was assigned a terrible room. They're very strict about charges; you can't even touch anything in the mini-bar or on the TV stand without being charged, and the prices are much higher than regular stores. Since the mini-bar was completely full, we couldn't even use the fridge for our own items. The hotel doesn't have a self-service laundry, only a laundry service. The pool is open to the public, and when we went, only one very crowded section was open. However, the gym was excellent. There's also a spa that offers free massages, but it costs $90 for entry on weekdays and $120 on weekends. Overall, a lot of things come with extra charges, and this resort fee is definitely not worth it.
