The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Orient railway station, but the cobblestone streets make it a bit challenging with luggage. A taxi ride to the airport takes about 10 minutes.
The hotel building is new, and the lobby on the ground floor is quite simple. The room was an upgraded business hotel style, with all the essentials and basic furnishings.
The room offered sea views and sunrise. When I tried to borrow an umbrella on my way out, I was told they were all lent out.

danielreisproThere was some confusion regarding access to the spa. When we stayed there last time, everything was included, but this time we didn't have access to the spa, and there were no slippers or bathrobes in the rooms. The hotel is good, but it's the little details that make the experience enjoyable.

S ss (Wanderer)Hotel Florentine was a bit of a mixed bag for me. This was a very last-minute booking and apparently I snagged the last available room — which, in hindsight, may explain a few things. I had specifically requested a quiet room, but unfortunately ended up with the exact opposite. The walls were paper-thin, and I could hear just about every sound and life update happening next door. Having the elevator directly across from my room added an extra soundtrack I hadn’t exactly asked for.
Dinner at the bistro also tested my patience a little. The team genuinely seemed to be trying hard, and I want to give special credit to one lovely server who was clearly doing her absolute best to keep everything afloat. Still, the service flow was puzzling — my drink and water arrived long after I had already finished my meal, while tables that arrived after me were somehow served before I was. It felt less like a dining system and more like a surprise social experiment.
The food itself was fine, nothing particularly memorable, but the location is undeniably excellent and probably the hotel’s strongest feature. With a few operational improvements — and perhaps some thicker walls — this place could really shine.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk to Avenida da Liberdade and less than 10 minutes on foot to luxury stores like LV, which is very convenient. The hotel isn't very large, but it's exceptionally clean and tidy. The reception and service were also good, and the room facilities felt quite new. Getting a taxi to the old town is quick and easy from here.

Every aspect of our time was stellar at the palace!
The extraordinary service began with Maria at the front desk and Luke helping us ladies get settled with all of our bags. Our rooms had views of the manicured gardens with mosaic walking paths. We opened our window for the cool breeze and was serenaded by a multitude of birdsong. Lunch was unique and flavorful at the Lake House. Dinner was in the bar lounge with the most decadent, flavorful brownie in the world!
Morning breakfast in the parlor has so many delightful choices to fit the palates and dietary needs of any guest. Sarah provided a personal tour of the palace. She was full of historical facts and knowledge of the family dynasty. Sarah and other staff also excelled as a hosts and concierge. A shout out is deserved to all staff who worked tirelessly to make such a stay effortless by providing comfortable accomodations and pampers each guest.

The hotel is clean and meets standards of Iberostar hotels if you’ve been to other ones, with pleasant scents in the lobby. Used the gym but it was small, with necessary equipments so was okay. Didn’t try spa but you’d have 1 hour free access if book in advance.
Service was relatively low-levelled throughout the stay. First night of arrival, there weren’t sleepers in the room and surprised that slippers at the reception were out of stock.
Second morning I was made to wait in front of the restaurant to have breakfast, with loads of available tables inside, which were not cleaned up on time. The staff didn’t maintain the queue in a good way, the line was cut in by two groups of guests, and there was even one group going straight into the restaurant, with the staff not noticing this or explaining to us. No caring was shown verbally for our waiting outside of the restaurant.
Third morning was told that there’s no breakfast booked with the room, but it turned out that the staff put wrong room numbers on the system when checking. The staff guided us to a table without cutleries prepared.
Reception staff were friendly yet not showing the best quality of service if the hotel is 5-star. Response time could be shortened.
Restaurant service was terrible given the above. No apologies made for the situations mentioned.

It’s such a lovey hotel to be staying at. Friendly staffs and can accommodate any requests we asked. As our departure to the airport was at 4:45am early in the morning, I requested to have some sandwiches and drinks to pick up before we left the hotel, instead, they had prepared a big box of food consisted of cheese and ham sandwich, apple, banana, juice and water for us. We heartfelt for what they have done to us. Indeed everyday, we have full breakfast delivered to our room n the food was decent. Also, one night there was a movie night by the pool side, and I found it amazingly care and trying their best to fulfill everyone’s needs. The hotel room is clean and very high standard. I will highly recommend people to stay in this hotel/ serviced apartment ( as it come with an open kitchen). And we happened to stay at their hotel on their 1st anniversary, and celebrated with us and with a delicious cake! 😜

AnindiaParamitaStaying at Moxy Lisbon City was honestly one of the best decisions for my trip to Portugal. The location made exploring Lisbon incredibly easy — close enough to the city center to reach major spots quickly, yet tucked in an area that felt calmer and less chaotic after a long day walking around the city. Metro access and ride options were convenient, which made moving around stress-free.
What really made the stay memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm, approachable, and genuinely helpful without feeling overly formal. The Guy with dental braces is kind and helpful, he shows us the “free refilll water” and utensils to eat
The room decor was another highlight. The design had that modern, playful Moxy aesthetic — minimalist but still full of personality. Clean lines, smart use of space, soft lighting, and subtle industrial touches gave the room a stylish city vibe without feeling cold. It felt fresh, youthful, and comfortable at the same time — the kind of room you actually look forward to coming back to after a full day in Lisbon.

The room is spacious. Clean and has good amenities. It smelled bad inside the elevator all the time. The lobby isn't very present with dirty floors. Breakfast was average. The location was good for me, but a few metro stops away from the touristy spots. But it's a safe location w plenty of other hotel chains, office buildings and restaurants.
