"I arrived late after my flight, so this was the perfect place to stay. I absolutely love this style of pod accommodation — it’s honestly one of my favourite types of places to stay. I slept so well here. The staff were really friendly, the showers and toilets were clean, and there was space to store luggage safely. I would definitely stay here again."

"Stayed at Ora Blue Lagoon for 2 nights; it was amazing. The villa and the private pool were great. The shuttle to the yellow bridge was convenient, running every hour. There was a secret beach just 2 minutes' walking distance from the villa, though not actually secret because lots of surfers go there. My only concern was that we booked our stay with breakfast, but breakfast starts at 7:30 and it's à la carte style. And it seems like all tours, like snorkeling or tours to Nusa Penida, have pickups around 8:30 am leaving from the yellow bridge, so you have to catch the 7:30 am shuttle, meaning you're going to miss breakfast. You can still use your breakfast vouchers, but you have to put in your order the night before (with only a few selections for early breakfast). There aren't a lot of taxis in the area unless you're renting a motorcycle, for us we relied on the free shuttle service. However, overall, we had an amazing time at Ora Blue Lagoon. The place was amazing; you can spot turtles swimming in the lagoon from the infinity pool. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful , quick to respond to your text via what’s-up , always smiling especially Danang and the other lady receptionist ( I forgot her name; sorry ). The food was great as well. The restaurant staff were friendly and always smiling . Thank you Ora Blue Lagoon staff for the warm welcome!!! Definitely, we will stay again in the future."

"This was our second time staying here, and we’re still very happy with our experience. The breakfast was really delicious, and all the staff were incredibly warm and friendly throughout our stay. We accidentally left a pair of shoes at the hotel after checking out and only realized when we were already at the harbor about to leave. We honestly thought we wouldn’t get them back, but the staff kindly brought them all the way to the harbor for us. It’s actually a bit of a distance, so we were really touched by their effort. Great service, great people, and a great stay overall. We would definitely come back again."

"If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind in Canggu, I’d definitely recommend Canggu Cabana Beach Resort. The private cabana-style accommodation are super quiet and give you a real sense of privacy. The whole space is beautifully designed. Honestly, every corner feels Instagrammable. Canggu is known for its wellness vibe, and you really feel it here. Even the 19 steps to the bathroom in the Cabana didn’t bother me at all. It somehow just became part of a slow, relaxed daily rhythm. One thing I loved was how practical the space was. I could quickly wash my workout clothes or swimwear and dry them in the bathroom using the AC and fan, so I always had fresh clothes ready the next day. Food was also a highlight. Breakfast and dinner at Seabird Restaurant were both amazing, you can tell they really care about the quality. And the staff truly made the stay special. Eka, Agung, Vio and Ari from the spa team were so kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was comfortable. It’s one of those places you leave feeling genuinely rested and taken care of."

"First time staying here. The location is excellent - short walk to the beach and shops. The free upgrade to luxury bungalow was much appreciated! Beauty and well anointed room. Lovely grounds and pool area. The prices of food and drinks are very high though."

"Excellent hotel right on Kuta Beach. It's not far from the airport and next to a huge shopping mall with various brands. The rooms are spacious, the linens are clean and odor-free. All toiletries are provided. The air conditioning works perfectly, and there's always hot water. The breakfasts are great, and the pool is warm and large. I definitely recommend it."

"The view, oh my god, it's just top-notch! 😍 Like something out of a movie. Waking up at dawn and seeing such beauty, wow. The staff are super polite, kind, and responsive. They explained everything, told us everything, and answered all our questions. Wow, the ladies at the reception, how can they be so sweet? The room is delightful. The bed, the swing, the view, the bathtub, the dryer, the shower, the water... But there's no fridge, just so you know if you bring your own. The temperature at night is super comfortable. There's a communal pool, more for photos than for swimming. Breakfast has a beautiful view, and it looks pretty, but it's tasteless. If you're willing to walk up to the main street, there are tons of cafes with huge menus and great options. Minuses: Flies. But you can't escape them there; they're in all the hotels, all the cafes. It's especially due to the nearby lava fields and sulfur, though it doesn't smell. There are a lot of them, especially at breakfast. They become fewer after sunset. The most important thing is the descent to the hotel and the ascent back up. The road is such that taxi drivers won't agree to go there, though for Russia, it's normal. 😉 The price includes a ride down to the hotel in an SUV upon check-in and an ascent to the main road upon check-out (from where you can easily call a taxi and leave, and also leave your moped in their parking lot). But if you want to go up from the hotel to the road at any other time, their shuttle costs 200k! 😱 Out of principle 🤣 and because it's impossible to call a taxi there (they'll refuse to go down), we walked up – it's not as scary as it might seem, but it takes about 30 minutes. The hotel offers night trekking to the volcano or a jeep tour. The price seems higher than the market rate, but it's very convenient 👍 when everything is together. I think it would be hard to live in those small 'onion' and 'potato' shaped rooms, but I didn't go inside; I just walked around the grounds – it's beautiful. It seems like they melt in the sun during the day."

"This was our second stay and we stayed at the one bedroom pool villa. The villa is beautiful and spacious with a good sized pool. The staff here are friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to have the hotel’s shuttle drop you around Seminyak and the location is close to shops and restaurants. There is a good and tasty selection of Asian and western foods for breakfast to order. There is more than enough to eat every morning. The only inconvenience of this room is that the bathroom and living areas are semi-outdoors so there is no air con and it is open to mosquitos. The staff do come to spray the room every evening and they put mosquito coils there. However, for females, it is not nice to have to get ready in the heat and smoke (especially if you’re sensitive to the smoke smell from the mosquito coil). They don’t provide any mirror in the bedroom for you to get ready. The gym is very rudimentary as well, only a treadmill, bike and some weights in a small room. It would be good to add a cable machine to increase the amount of exercises that one can do. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Amala. Thank you!"

"I would like to start by commending the exceptional staff and the high-quality food at the restaurant. Their service made our stay much more pleasant. However, there were a few aspects regarding the Grand Cottage that affected our overall experience: Design vs. Environment: The semi-open bathroom and outdoor bathtub are visually beautiful. However, given the resort’s remote and natural location, we encountered many frogs, centipedes, and insects in the bathing area. This made showering a bit rushed and uncomfortable. Additionally, due to the outdoor setting, the bathtub was unusable during poor weather—we didn't get to enjoy it during our 3-night stay. Room Maintenance: We were disappointed to find a dead frog inside our room. While the staff was very responsive and provided mosquito treatments, the insect presence remained quite high. Acoustics & Privacy: The soundproofing could be improved, as we were disturbed by dogs barking and noise from the nearby public smoking area late at night (around 2 AM). Conclusion: The hospitality and dining were 5-star, but the room's integration with the natural environment presented some practical difficulties. I hope management can look into these issues to enhance the guest experience."
