"The hotel's location offers great views, and I absolutely loved that every room has a private pool. The breakfast restaurant was a highlight too, I even saw many sea turtles foraging! The staff were incredibly responsible and helpful. They have a WeChat account, and their communication and response times were prompt and attentive. During our stay, we took a trip to Nusa Penida and almost missed our boat back to the hotel, but they actively helped us communicate and sort things out. When we checked out, they even assisted us with our luggage across the bridge. It was a fantastic island hopping experience overall."

"The main plus hotel is the location, 7 minutes walk to the main sightseeing on Nusa Penide, Kelingking Beach! In a complex of 7 cottages in a village style, all of wood. The room is clean. There is air conditioning, shower, small terrace. There is no TV and a refrigerator in the rooms, but the TV is not needed, and the drinks the guy on the respiratory allowed to put in his refrigerator. Breakfasts are modest, but the extra payment for them is very small. For this price, a great place!"

"The hotel is located directly across the road from Kuta Beach, yet it's quite peaceful. The grounds are very lush, and all the architecture inside is in the Balinese style. I can't speak for the main building with balconies, as we stayed in a separate bungalow on the property. It was excellent! The furniture could be described as 'tired,' or perhaps 'almost antique' :) The bed was large and comfortable. Cleaning was done daily and thoroughly. The breakfasts were excellent, with a local flair, like local smoothie drinks. Delicious. During peak times, finding a table might be a little challenging. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, whose veranda opens directly onto Jalan Pantai and is popular with passersby – be prepared for many people wanting to dine there for lunch or dinner. Hookahs are also available. Next to the restaurant is a small pool, and there are almost always free sun loungers. There are several supermarkets nearby, the large Beachwalk Shopping Center is a 5-minute walk away, and Hard Rock Cafe is in the other direction. But the main thing is, Kuta Beach and surfing are right opposite. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport (if you don't get stuck in the round-the-clock traffic jam on Jalan Pantai). "This was our second time staying here, and we’re still very happy with our experience. The breakfast was really delicious, and all the staff were incredibly warm and friendly throughout our stay. We accidentally left a pair of shoes at the hotel after checking out and only realized when we were already at the harbor about to leave. We honestly thought we wouldn’t get them back, but the staff kindly brought them all the way to the harbor for us. It’s actually a bit of a distance, so we were really touched by their effort. Great service, great people, and a great stay overall. We would definitely come back again."

"My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. First of all, the location is extremely convenient, close to the city center and major attractions, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, modernly decorated, well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable, making it feel just like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to any needs. The breakfast had a great variety, and everything tasted wonderful, providing a great start to the day. The only minor issue was that the room’s soundproofing could be improved a bit, but overall, it didn’t affect the experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again next time"

"If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind in Canggu, I’d definitely recommend Canggu Cabana Beach Resort. The private cabana-style accommodation are super quiet and give you a real sense of privacy. The whole space is beautifully designed. Honestly, every corner feels Instagrammable. Canggu is known for its wellness vibe, and you really feel it here. Even the 19 steps to the bathroom in the Cabana didn’t bother me at all. It somehow just became part of a slow, relaxed daily rhythm. One thing I loved was how practical the space was. I could quickly wash my workout clothes or swimwear and dry them in the bathroom using the AC and fan, so I always had fresh clothes ready the next day. Food was also a highlight. Breakfast and dinner at Seabird Restaurant were both amazing, you can tell they really care about the quality. And the staff truly made the stay special. Eka, Agung, Vio and Ari from the spa team were so kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was comfortable. It’s one of those places you leave feeling genuinely rested and taken care of."

"It was a truly wonderful place, and the bungalow was mesmerizing. I booked the Bungalow room with a pool view, and it absolutely met my expectations. However, we experienced a major issue that night. Due to heavy rain and strong winds, water started leaking from the roof, causing our bed to become wet and unusable for sleeping. I would like to sincerely thank the night staff who assisted us and tried their best to contact the management. Unfortunately, I did not clearly catch his name — it was either Rival or Deval — but his effort and helpfulness were greatly appreciated. The management initially offered to move us to another room, but I was informed over the phone that it would be the smallest room type. I declined this offer, as it did not match the value of the room I originally booked. I understood that the property was fully booked that night, and I truly appreciated the explanation. However, I was only asking for my rights as a guest and for a better experience, which initially could not be provided. Later, someone from The Cove customer service contacted me via WhatsApp, but unfortunately this caused further dissatisfaction, as they repeatedly refused my request to speak with a manager and kept rejecting my request for late check-out (LCO) as compensation. I then returned to the front desk and politely requested the staff to contact the manager again. Thankfully, the manager answered the call. In the end, they allowed us to stay in a larger suite/villa room and honored us with a late check-out as compensation for the inconvenience caused. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the manager, Mr. Widi, for understanding the situation and assisting us with the room allocation. Overall, despite the issues, we still had a lovely stay, even though it was only for one night. My friends and I will most likely return again in the near future."

"Good clean friendly hotel. Very helpful. I had booked 3 nights in one room and one in another as was unable to get 4 nights in one. On check out day they did some magic and I got to keep my room for the extra night. Food good and reasonable prices. Enjoyed the happy hour cocktails and the bbq satay sticks by the pool. It’s just the nice relaxing holiday I wanted. Loved having the balcony"

"Great resort beach hotel without being too costly! Friendly atmosphere amongst other travellers, beautiful buffet breakfast with an array of options including swapping days with different things!  Staff were incredible, service was really quick. We will be back!  2 different pools for families and adults, feeding fish in the mornings and afternoons, feeding of squirrels to which the kids love! Big enough resort to not feel so busy and quiet at night!"
