"The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bedding was so soft, I had a very restful sleep. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic, and check-in was quick and efficient. The location is super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The soundproofing was great, so it was very quiet at night. The facilities are well-kept, and there was plenty of hot water. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it."

"Nice stay. We checked in late at night, and there was a bellhop to help with our luggage and explain the room facilities. The afternoon tea was lovely. The hotel restaurant serves food all day, and it's not expensive."

"Excellent value for money, clean and spacious cabins. Located at an around 8 mins drive from the port, they also have a restaurant where you can have the included breakfast as well as dinner later at night. You can also rent a motorbike here, so you've got everything you need in it really. It also has hot water, AC, and they clean the room every day so I'm delighted to have stayed at this place, as usually in this kind of low cost accommodation in Indonesia you won't get as many services and amenities. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed in 3 different places during my trip to Bali. All were lovely but Cove d’Ancak and Bungalow was by far my favorite place. Firstly, the bungalow is absolutely spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a home stay so clean in all my travels. Every night and morning there felt cosy and homey. The pool area is also very relaxing and beautiful and the WiFi is strong. But the true treasure that lies here is the staff. As a solo traveler, the whole staff made me feel appreciated, greeting me warmly every day. The best part was the mini surprise they organized for my birthday to make my day extra special, bringing me a small cake and singing happy birthday. Big thank you to Risky, Grande, Debora, Adi and Jelo for keeping the place in top condition and a very extra warm thank you to Arta & Zihad for putting a smile on my face everytime I crossed their path! You will not regret staying here, I will 100% be back."

"This was our second time staying here, and we’re still very happy with our experience. The breakfast was really delicious, and all the staff were incredibly warm and friendly throughout our stay. We accidentally left a pair of shoes at the hotel after checking out and only realized when we were already at the harbor about to leave. We honestly thought we wouldn’t get them back, but the staff kindly brought them all the way to the harbor for us. It’s actually a bit of a distance, so we were really touched by their effort. Great service, great people, and a great stay overall. We would definitely come back again."

"The hotel is beautiful, and I even got a free room upgrade. The two-meter bed was incredibly comfortable. It's really convenient that the hotel restaurant accepts Visa. Just a heads-up, though, if you're ordering food, ask for something light; Indonesian palm oil isn't really to my taste."

"It was an awesome 2 night stay in the hills. We enjoyed the comfortable space, shower with great pressure, amazing view of Mount Batur and friendly staff there. Big shoutout to Pak Rama especially, which took great care of us and shuttle us to the nearby eateries / cafes upon request. Breakfast included was great. You’ll just need to go through a bumpy road to get to this awesome place. Maybe a slight downside is that there would be flies during day time, but I guess that’s normal when you’re in nature and organic planting surrounding the site. Just remember to keep the doors to the room shut. Will hope to revisit again to try the other suite/villa/rooms in future if there’s opportunity. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy nature."

"The room was huge, like a villa with its own pool, and the location on the hillside offered fantastic views. I spent a whole afternoon on the rooftop just watching the sunset – the scenery was absolutely stunning. The room service at the villa was excellent; the chicken wings were delicious, and the pineapple fruit pizza was also really good. I loved that I didn't even need to leave to enjoy great food. The only downside was the spa experience. It cost 360,000 IDR (including tax) for a 60-minute treatment, but it only lasted about 45 minutes in reality. Otherwise, everything else was perfect."

"From the moment we arrived at Amarea Resort Ubud, we knew this place was something special. The luxury, comfort and atmosphere here genuinely took our breath away and made our stay in Bali unforgettable. What truly makes this resort exceptional though is the people. Every single member of staff made us feel so welcome, cared for and completely at home. Ita in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful — so attentive, kind and thoughtful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Candra on reception was always there with a smile, ready to help with anything at all, and it genuinely felt lovely coming “home” to see her after a day out exploring. Novia was also constantly cheerful, welcoming and so warm every single time we saw her. Honestly, every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Nothing ever felt like a chore to them — just genuine kindness and hospitality all the time. And the food… wow. We’ve been taking photos of nearly every meal because the presentation and attention to detail has been incredible. But as beautiful as everything looks, the taste somehow manages to be even better. Every dish we tried was absolutely outstanding and full of flavour. The resort itself feels like a hidden sanctuary in the jungle. The décor is stunning, peaceful and luxurious without ever losing that authentic Bali feel. The pool area tucked into the jungle was one of our favourite places — sitting there in the evening watching the bats eating figs from the trees above us felt surreal and magical. Amarea Resort Ubud is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience, and one we will never forget. Thank you all so much for making our holiday so special.
