"The hotel is over 200 meters from Seminyak Beach as the crow flies, but it's about a 500-meter walk. The location is quite good, and the service is attentive. The restaurant has a cozy dining atmosphere, and breakfast is decent. The room facilities and gym equipment feel a bit dated. Overall, it offers good value for money."

"The rooftop bar and pool are absolutely fantastic. I came up every night to have a drink and lie down, looking at the stars – it brought such a peaceful feeling. However, there weren't any twin bed rooms available, so I chose a room with two double beds, only to be told upon arrival that only king-sized rooms were available. The bathroom was a bit damp and located inside the room. Aside from that, everything else was great, and the staff were very enthusiastic."

"Awesome location, walking distance to beach. Also walking distance to tourist area like Penny Lane, gigisusu and mexicola. Breakfast is yums. The best surprise during our trip was the free flow of beer & tea time! We make a trip back to hotel just for it!"

"1. Free airport pick-up! The driver was super proactive, greeting me and confirming my name, and even helped with my luggage into the car. (I'd read on Xiaohongshu about Bali's tipping culture, but the driver didn't hint at a tip at all, and I didn't offer one since I had no small change right after landing. I didn't pay any extra fees throughout my stay, full marks!) 2. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities weren't outdated. (The outlets directly fit Chinese plugs, no adapter needed, though two-prong Chinese plugs were a bit loose and would fall out. Luckily, I brought a three-prong power strip, which worked perfectly – excellent!) 3. Dinner was delicious (it was à la carte from a menu). The stir-fried rice noodles were incredibly fragrant, even better than in China 😋. Breakfast was a buffet and also very tasty, full marks. 4. The hotel service was absolutely incredible, and this is the most important reason I'm giving this hotel full marks. The genuine warmth and hospitality, with absolutely no discrimination against Chinese guests, made for a fantastic experience. So comfortable! In summary, budget travelers can stay here with confidence – it's great value for money. If you only stay in luxury hotels, then don't come here to nitpick; you can't expect a premium experience for a few hundred bucks."

"Facilities: The hotel has a full range of facilities, including a pool, a bar, and a gym. The gym is a bit basic, but it's there, which is good. Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was good and up to standard. Environment: It's right next to Kuta Beach; you just cross the road and you're at the ocean. Everything you need is nearby, which is super convenient. Service: The service was great; everyone was very polite and smiling. Overall, it's good, and definitely offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended."

"The environment here is great. Kuta Beach is right downstairs, so after surfing, you can head straight back to the hotel to shower, as the public beach showers cost money. The market is on the opposite side, perfect for an evening stroll. The beach is full of persistent surf touts; it's quite competitive, and for about 80 RMB, they'll let you surf until you're exhausted. You can rent a scooter downstairs for around 40 RMB a day, but you'll need to fill the tank yourself, which cost me about 12 RMB. Don't worry about finding a scooter or surf lessons, as there are countless shops due to the thriving tourism industry. The hygiene is decent; we brought our own filtered showerhead, and it turned slightly yellow after two days. Also! Whatever you do, avoid rooms 516 and 515 in this hotel, as they face the exhaust vents of the building next door – you'll definitely regret it. If you opt for the room-only package without breakfast, it's about 90 RMB per person. The amenities and surroundings are excellent, as long as you steer clear of rooms 515 and 516, it's a fantastic choice."

"We will never stay with the Stones again as we paid the upgrade for the premium stones suite that was close to $5,000 Australian. apparently this was the best room with roof top pool and nothing better! We were expecting absolute amazing wow factor especially after bragging to the kids how amazing it was going to be. Were were 2 adults 2 children kids had to sleep on couch and a single bed in the lounge no where to put their clothes so had to live out of suitcase room only had 1 toilet they knew we were bringing out kids and never advised of this situation as when we were previously there a couple of months prior on our own without the kids.  were weren’t able to sight the room then as it was occupied! Or would have never didn’t the extra $2500. This was just the start of our terrible experience. The roof top pool had live wires hanging out and detached from pool light all together didn’t work, which they sent some one to fix it but didn’t was still hanging off. Kids couldn’t use the pool at all. them had to come back and redo it as only had used zip ties to keep it together, the tiles around the apartment were dirty, the door to bathroom was jammed and was hard to open and close when they fixed this the floor was left in a mess with plaster all over the floor and a Stanley knife left behind on the floor when we gave young kids. We also mention one of the buttons in the lift was all pushed in with also live wires (dangerous) the showers and taps only trickled with water noooo pressure at all untill plumber came to fix it! After numerous times of telling then the staircase was old and frail and hanging by old rusted screws and that it was dangerous as not secure. They done nothing about it untill my husband held onto ramp one night coming downstairs and the ramp completely snapped off and he fell down the stairs they had their medical team look over him which luckily was on minor ankle sprain. We no longer could use the pool as was under construction. After continuous complaints to the managers down stairs we spoke to about 5 different ones we demanded a full refund and to move hotel only to be offered a refund only on the $2500 which was the upgrade amount and stay in the same room. Also that the refund would have to take 1-2 months when we had paid on the spot. After only after more complaints and stating we were not leaving without the refund they sent it thru the day we got back to Australia. We also were offered airport transfer when we left! As a major 5 star hotel you would think they would be a lot more accommodating to us and or offer a complimentary drink or dinner or lunch or anything? We were spending $500 roughly at the hotel down stairs by the bar for food and drinks every couple of days also. We then decided to not even use hotel at all and just to sleep! What a waste of money and totally false advertising! Do not pay or stay in this room if your expectation ultimate luxury because it was definitely not! We are world travelers , from koi Samui, Maldives Thailand Bali 15  times at least and also in Europe, Portugal Spain and many more country’s and have never once been treated like this!  I have many more photos but this is all I could upload! This is totally unacceptable fir a 5 star hotel as they say they are!"

"I had a great stay at Paripadi Canggu Studio. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a refreshing drink and a cold towel, which was really thoughtful because the weather was quite hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was comfortable, and when I accidentally stained the bedsheet, the staff helped to change it immediately, which I really appreciated. The hotel also has a parking area that is shaded and not directly under the sunlight, which is very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with warm service and good facilities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Canggu."
