"5-Star Stay at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Ngurah Rai (with one small caveat). From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff made all the difference. Check-in was seamless, and every team member, whether at reception, in the restaurant, or around the property was genuinely attentive and eager to help. Their warmth and sincerity turned a good stay into a memorable one. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with every amenity you could need. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, perfect for sinking into after a long day exploring Bali. As of Nov 2025, the hotel looks brand new. Breakfast offered a solid variety: Asian, Western, and local options, plus fresh juices, soda, and milk. It may not rival the sprawling buffets of luxury resorts, but it was more than enough to leave you happily full. One note: Sound from a nearby mosque can carry early in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or request a room farther from the street side. Despite that, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Ngurah Rai. Excellent value, outstanding staff, and a clean, comfortable base for your Bali adventures. Will definitely return!"

"This is definitely the place to stay if you are planning to spend a few days in Ubud. The hosts met all requests and even went the extra mile to accommodate us. The facilities were great. We enjoyed a balinese massage on the rooftop and even a head massage in the comfort of our villa. The food was great and readily available at all times. Everything was at a great price and even the tours or a driver to take you wherever you plan to go. The staff were all very kind and made us feel special with their special touch. Well recommended and worth another booking when coming back to Ubud."

"100/10 the best hotel of our Bali trip! Hygge Hotel is absolutely amazing. Everything feels brand new and super clean. The service is incredibly friendly and warm, you feel welcomed the moment you arrive. The building itself is also beautiful, stylish, elegant, and perfect for photos. We even did a couple photo shoot here and the whole place felt like a tropical villa garden.The location is perfect too, right in Seminyak, with the best spas and restaurants just a short walk away. Super convenient and easy to get around. Honestly one of the best stays we’ve had in Bali. Even better than some 5 star resort we stayed. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Seminyak!"

"A cozy and well-located stay at Cove Meraya, perfectly situated in the heart of Canggu. With Starbucks, Berawa Beach, supermarkets, and plenty of cafés just a short walk away, everything you need is right at your doorstep. The room is spacious and thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including a smart TV, fridge, and even a microwave for added convenience."

"A new cove hotel up in the hill next to rice field somewhat 10 mins bike drive to the prime Canggu was truly a gem but the only one small downside of coming in/out here the road were pretty bumpy but that doesn’t really affect me though~ pretty quite and calm at night and I’m happy with my staying! Great staffs very attentive willing to help out anything that you might needed!"

"The hotel and the rooms themselves are good, but there are still quite a few areas for improvement — so overall I would rate it 2.5 out of 5. 1) During my one-week stay, there were two occasions when I requested room cleaning, but my requests were simply ignored (the staff understood me but did not follow through). 2) Breakfast is very basic, and the waiting time is a bit over 30 minutes, which feels too long. On my last day, I requested breakfast at 08:05 and only received it at 9:05 — I have never experienced such a delay before. 3) The hotel location in Grab is incorrect — if you order a taxi using the hotel name, it will drop you off about 500 meters away. 4) Water in the shower does not drain properly, which causes flooding in the bathroom. 5) On my first day, I was promised a move to the 2nd or 3rd floor the next day, but later I was told that everything was fully booked. 6) I paid for a room for two adults but stayed alone. On my last day, I was refused breakfast for myself and my guest. Since I paid for two adults, it would have been reasonable to accommodate this request. 7) When you enter the room, instead of a welcome sheet with basic information and the Wi-Fi password, you are greeted with a price list detailing charges for damaged items. While it’s understandable to provide such a list, it does not feel welcoming, and it’s inconvenient that you have to go and ask separately for the Wi-Fi password. Overall, the hotel as a building is good, but the service definitely needs significant improvement."

"Excellent location, 5 minutes by bike to the ocean. The cleanliness is top-notch, with daily housekeeping. The premium room had everything you need if you wanted to stay and cook in the room: a toaster, juicer, cutlery, and more. Laundry service is available on site or around the corner. The staff is helpful and friendly, ready to help with anything. If you're on the 4th floor, be prepared for the lack of an elevator—we were glad it was there, at least we had some exercise. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains and sea."
