There were very few spots available for the animal feeding activity, and you had to register online well in advance. We only found out when we arrived, so all the spots were already filled, which made the kids a little unhappy.

Since I visited near midday, the sun was strong, and I needed a parasol or hat. There's a free tram inside the park, so you can go around without walking. The animals were resting because it was the hottest time of day, so I recommend visiting early in the morning or exploring during the night safari.

An absolute must for anyone visiting Singapore. Such a unique experience. Highly recommend to firstly queue for the tram around the reserve, then head to the amphitheatre for an enthralling event. Then head to the walking trails. I would also book your return travel. We got stuck about 11pm as everyone was also trying to get a grab back and we ended up paying double to get back late.

The safari includes a scheduled indoor show, routes along the animal enclosures, and a train ride along the animal enclosures. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend arriving at the park as early as possible (before 7:00 a.m.) to see everything.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and a timed entry check-in is required.
The park is vast, and time is short. You need to be very organized. I recommend:
1. Register for the show first (it's one of the last times).
2. Enter the park and board the train as early as possible. The seats on the edge are more convenient—they offer a better view. This ride will take about an hour.
3. After riding the train through the park, I recommend completing all the routes (it's convenient to start with the leopard trail and end with the Tasmanian devil trail—that way you'll cover all the trails. At a brisk pace, all the routes take 1.5 hours. We really enjoyed the bat enclosure; be sure to check it out). 4. After the trails, go to the show.
If you leave after 11:30, you won't make it to the metro.

River Wonders welcomes you daily from 10:00 to 19:00! Just a heads-up for your adventure: the Amazon River Quest and Squirrel Monkey Forest are open from 11:00 to 18:00, and you can visit the adorable residents of the Giant Panda Forest between 10:00 and 18:15.

The lake's surface was like a polished obsidian mirror, smooth and without a ripple. I squatted on the bank, watching the starlight cast its reflection in the inky blackness, as if another vast universe lay hidden beneath my feet. To have such a moment of self-reflection on this journey was an immense blessing. The shimmering starlight on the lake's surface was more dreamlike than in the sky, possessing a surreal realism. I reached out a finger and gently broke the stillness of the water. The reflection shattered instantly, transforming into countless shimmering spots of light, like a silent fireworks display. Looking up, the distant mountains resembled a black barrier, enclosing the starlight and lake, creating a separate, private world. Where mountains meet sea, where water and sky meet, an ultimate perfection is achieved. The mountains are the frame, the lake is the canvas, and the starlight is the flowing oil paint. This scene, spanning millennia, makes me feel as if I am in a dream. The boundary between reality and illusion becomes blurred. I can't distinguish which are the stars in the sky and which are the lights in the water, nor can I distinguish which are the external scenery and which are the projections of my own heart. This full page of starlight on the tranquil lake not only illuminates the night sky but also illuminates the forgotten corners deep within my heart. They are like a pair of gentle eyes, watching over me and embracing me, allowing me to find long-lost peace and tranquility in this brief escape.

I could bask in the morning sunlight for an entire hour, or change direction at the slightest breeze. This undefined ease taught me that travel is never about proving anything, but about experiencing something. I learned to buy a cup of hot tea at a strange street corner, watching passersby hurry by, listening to the city's whispers. In that moment, I was both the audience and the protagonist. Unfiltered scenery is more real, unedited smiles are more radiant. The most luxurious travel is allowing yourself to slow down, allowing yourself to do nothing, allowing yourself to simply exist. I no longer rush to the next destination, because every step is scenery, every second is an answer. Solitude allowed me to hear the voice within, those desires submerged by daily life resurfaced in the wind.
