If you used to like watching the Legend of the White Snake movies, you'll definitely feel nostalgic about this pagoda. The view is very beautiful. From the pagoda to the boat dock you still have to walk about 900m, which is around 15-20 minutes.

We are all searching for a place to call home, forgetting that true home is where the heart finds peace. A lifetime of self-cultivation is nothing more than the process of finding inner peace. Journeys are short, life is long. Short trips are our repeated attempts to find our true home. We search for familiar flavors in unfamiliar cities, for solace on foreign streets. We discover that home is not a fixed place, but a state of mind. Life is long, meaning we must cultivate this inner peace throughout these long years. No matter where we are, no matter what we encounter, we can maintain inner peace and joy. The paths we walk ultimately lead back to our inner selves. Travel is an outward pursuit, while life is an inward settlement. Journeys are short, life is long; may we all find our inner peace.

Three days in Hangzhou, and now I finally understand why it has been called “Paradise on Earth” for centuries. My journey began at West Lake, where willow trees sway gently over emerald waters and elegant stone bridges seem to belong in a Chinese painting. Whether cruising across the lake or strolling along Su Causeway, every corner felt effortlessly beautiful.IN77 buzzed with modern energy, atypical of shopping malls. As night fell, Hangzhou revealed a different side, while Wulin Night Market came alive with street food, and the irresistible aroma of local snacks—a perfect blend of old and new.The next day, I wandered through Hefang Street, where traditional architecture and centuries of history transport you back to ancient Hangzhou. The evening ended with West Lake Impression, a breathtaking outdoor performance where water, music, and light transform the lake itself into a stage. My final day was perhaps the most memorable. Nestled among forested hills, Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak offered a peaceful escape filled with ancient grottoes, incense, and quiet reflection. To end the journey, I experienced 杭州宮宴 (Hangzhou Gongyan), an immersive Han culture food theatre combining exquisite cuisine, elegant dance, and storytelling. It felt less like dinner and more like stepping into a living history book.Hangzhou isn’t just a city—it’s poetry in motion, where nature, culture, and history blend seamlessly together. Three days barely scratched the surface, but they were enough to leave me wanting to return.📍Highlights:West Lake • IN77 • Wulin Night Market • Hefang Street • West Lake Impression • Lingyin Temple • Feilai Peak • 杭州宮宴#Hangzhou #WestLake #ChinaTravel #HangzhouGongyan #TravelChina

Graduation trips are the brightest memories of youth. My best friends and I saved up our allowance, squeezed onto trains, stayed in budget guesthouses, shared a bed and chatted all night, took silly group photos at tourist attractions, and laughed more than anyone else while trying to save money on street food. We saw the same scenery, braved the same downpours, and shouted our hopes for the future together from the mountaintop. These crazy days together have become warm memories that I'll never forget.

Time is beautiful precisely because of its inevitable passing. A lifetime of cultivation is learning to grasp the eternal within the flow of time. Journeys are short, but life is long. Brief journeys are our repeated touches of eternity. We marvel at the grandeur of time before ancient architecture, and revere the insignificance of life before the magnificence of nature. We try to freeze these moments, only to discover that true eternity lies not in a frame, but in the heart. Life is long, a long journey of farewell and remembrance. In the long years, we must learn to say goodbye and to remember. Say goodbye to what does not belong to us, and remember what has warmed us. The paths we have walked will eventually become amber of memory. Journeys are short, but life is long; may we all learn to cherish in our cultivation.

Xixi Wetland Park is incredibly large, but after a while many of the views start to feel quite similar. It was already humid, and the rain made it even more uncomfortable. If you're spending four or more full days in Hangzhou, I would recommend adding it to your itinerary. Buying the ticket through Trip.com was definitely the right decision. The package included boat rides and unlimited shuttle access, which made it easy to explore different parts of the park and reach areas that would have taken much longer on foot. I kept thinking how beautiful this place would be in autumn. Still, it was nice to be surrounded by so much greenery and enjoy the peaceful natural scenery. While it wasn't my favorite attraction in Hangzhou, I’m glad I visited and experienced one of the city's most famous wetland parks.

You absolutely must take a guided boat inside, as you can't explore the whole area on foot. It's best suited for those who enjoy nature and leisurely walks. If you visit around the time of the Dragon Boat Festival, you'll see people practicing dragon boat racing. Hefang Street is rather uniform and commercialized; you can just take a look around.

It's a great place to stroll. There's lots of greenery and ponds. They're called swamps here. Birds are singing, and fish are swimming in the pond. It's a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
