There is free self service laundry facilities in the adjacent building. The staff was not attentive for this quality apartment-hotel. They were all very busy with other stuff that the ignored customers standing in front of them."

Lunch in Asia fusion in Italian is also unexpected good!"

"Enchanting hotel in a quieter part of the city but only 10 minutes on foot from both the baptistery and the station. The staff both at reception and at breakfast were wonderful- courteous, friendly and smiling (a special mention for Francesco). My room was comfortable and cosy, and although it looked onto the road and was on the first floor it wasn’t noisy at all and I slept very well. The hotel was impeccably clean throughout. I particularly liked the way the character of the building has remained intact with a number of small, intimate lounges instead of one large impersonal one. The decor gives a unique feel to every corner of the structure, including the charming roof terrace with its views over the Florentine rooftops. I hope to get the chance to visit again soon!"

"One of the most satisfying overseas hotels. If you have a budget, staying here is the best choice for visiting Florence. It is close to everywhere. The service staff are very enthusiastic. On the last day, they even offered to help call a taxi. The food in the lobby bar is also delicious. If I go there again next time, I will probably choose here again and choose the Galileo Suite to experience it again."

Only a 15 minute walk down canal to reach main centre of Florence & Riva lofts also offer bikes (we walked). Room was very spacious, quiet and a trendy decor. "The hotel is ok for few nights, but doesn’t match my expectations. It’s clearly not 4star. Just mediocre quality of 3. It’s an old hotel on side street close to Florence train station, nothing special, there are many other hotels like that. Rooms and hotel itself is old, there is ongoing renovations and some rooms are fully new, but it’s much more expensive and for that price you can clearly find better hotel. Breakfast is poor. It’s not for disabled people for sure, because access to some rooms includes our by the stairs. It has an interesting garden, but it’s just old. There was girls every evening, She plays the harp beautifully. Plus for that experience. I thought it was an actual boutique hotel, but it’s outdated. We have asked staff for better room, but it was rejected and they asked to pay twice of price we paid for our room already. So it was clearly not worth it."

The decoration of the public area in the hotel is also nice, I like the fountain with flowers in the middle. The only headache is tooooo much flies and mosquitoes, really annoying at night.
