"Came here for a weekend getaway during the summer, and while it was crowded, the overall planning was very good. The staff were all patient and enthusiastic, especially our butler, Kele, who provided excellent service and proactively shared many activity updates. The Rain Forest Restaurant has a great ambiance, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, even including a special section for kids, making it very suitable for families. The hotel has a 24-hour convenience store, which is a bit pricey, but you can also order takeout. The childcare service was fantastic and completely freed up our hands. The hotel itself has many entertainment facilities, but unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so not all of them were open."

JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserLocation: Opposite Jun'anli, very close to the starting point of Moganshan Cross-country Race. You can clean up your stomach in the hotel and walk over to start running. You don't need to store your bag, let alone queue for the bathroom near the starting point.
Environment: The whole villa with front and back yards is spacious and open. Because of the gate, it is private and well separated from the street. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and grass canopy in the yard. There are many small chairs, small tables, hanging chairs, and flowers and plants to rest and daze. The lobby on the first floor is very spacious, the sofa is very comfortable, and the combination of various exquisite furnishings and plants can show the boss's love for life. Many still life sketches can be taken in different small corners.
Room: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, needless to say, the bedding is well-received, the bed is just soft and hard, and the latex pillow is very friendly to my sensitive neck! I slept very well for two nights. I like the windows on one wall, with a bamboo forest outside the window, and a wall like a painting. The frame does not change and the content of the painting changes with the seasons. The quality of various toiletries and aromatherapy is very good. The blueberries for welcome fruit are also washed in a box, touching!
Breakfast: Choose according to the menu the day before. The boss specially prepares a special breakfast at 6 o'clock for the cross-country racers. The sandwich is well received! The sour soup noodles for daily breakfast are well received! The boss can take care of all kinds of taboos, which is touching!
Service: The boss is super nice, warm and thoughtful, beautiful and considerate, making people feel at home.
I hope that the track organized by Kalas next time will be different from that of TNF, so that there will be another reason to come back!

Mogan Ziling Villa focuses on the privacy and humanistic temperature of mountain scenery, especially suitable for family outings or friends gatherings that pursue a sense of quality.
Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.
”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic.
Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

__CFT010000001002****Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. GGuest UserWe stayed here during the Dragon Boat Festival, which also coincided with a birthday celebration, and our family had a wonderful experience. The environment is absolutely stunning, and they offer a fantastic array of unique activities. Even though it rained for several days, keeping us mostly indoors, we were never bored. We enjoyed making 'zongzi' (rice dumplings), bamboo weaving, pottery, crafting mugwort bouquets, and making sachets – so many different crafts! There was also horseback riding, celebrating a pony's birthday, and even 'yoga' interactions with the horses. These novel and fun experiences delighted both adults and children. A big thank you to our butler, Joan, for her attentive and proactive service, and to the super nice staff at the equestrian center who interacted and chatted with my daughter, sharing their knowledge about horses. My daughter especially loved Ty, saying he was her favorite. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the staff at the Naked Retreats cafe, had excellent service attitudes. While some dishes at the Western restaurant weren't quite to our taste, the restaurant manager handled our feedback gracefully from a customer's perspective. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be back.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful family trip with my son and parents. We stayed in a family cabin with two rooms. It was a bit small overall, but offered great value for money. There were tons of activities in the park: water sports, cycling, BBQ, and unpowered playground equipment. The park's butler and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserI chose this place after seeing many reviews. It's like a sanatorium in Shanghai, and I often heard people speaking Shanghainese among the guests.
The location is next to a villa complex, and you can walk to nearby attractions. If you're driving, many sights can be enjoyed right from the road, which is very convenient. A friendly reminder: you can't drive into the attractions themselves, so this location is perfect for self-driving tours.
I stayed in the main building, which was built later. The decor has a lovely民國 (Republic of China era) style. It seems some of the pre-liberation villas are also occupied, but I'm not sure if they all belong to Moganshanzhuang.
The best part was that during the May Day holiday, Moganshan was rainy and freezing. But the room actually had a heating air conditioner! I spent a wonderfully warm night in the rainy mountain, which was incredibly thoughtful. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

__CFT010000001607****My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
