Hang Dong Hotels with balcony

Our two-night, three-day trip was a leisurely stroll through Hang Dong. The hotel is built by the lake, and as soon as you enter, you're greeted by a variety of tropical trees – a delight for any plant lover! The environment is fantastic, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the rain, or just reading a book. You can sit in the lakeside gazebo for a whole afternoon, and there's even a super well-behaved and affectionate little cat! The owner is Chinese and incredibly warm and hospitable! The hotel offers excellent value for money! Since we checked in around the beginning of autumn, we were even invited to eat dumplings 🥟 – my Chinese stomach was so touched, I almost cried! Conveniently, all the places we wanted to visit, like Elephant Coffee, the Night Safari, and the White Temple, are on the same mountain road as the hotel! You can also wander around the woodcarving village! (If you have trouble finding a taxi in Hang Dong, you can call the owner for help! The price is fair 👍

The hotel is really great - very nice grounds with a pool, cafe and a small animal farm. Everything looks very nice, like I was living in a dollhouse 🥰 The rooms are simple and comfortable, I was very comfortable. The owner and hotel staff are very friendly: when I arrived late, they took me to a nearby cafe and then came back for me. Breakfast was included in the price; I chose the English breakfast - it was quite good. There is a beautiful park nearby, lots of coffee shops and restaurants. My only regret is that I didn't spend much time there. Thank you for your hospitality, will definitely come back again 🫶🏻

The rooms are beautiful, luxurious, sleek, and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and spacious, spa-like bathrooms. The pool has a great view, and the breakfast is delicious and unpretentious. It's an ideal spot for those genuinely seeking serious relaxation, emphasizing tranquility, privacy, and a high-quality experience. Whether you're coming as a couple, solo, or simply to unwind from work stress, this place offers a sense of calm from the moment you arrive until your departure. It's a resort that truly redefines what 'relaxation' means. 🌿✨

The villa is very beautiful and well-equipped with all the essential amenities. The interior is clean and well-maintained. Around the outside of the villa, some of the walkways show minor wear and tear, but nothing broken or seriously damaged. The breakfast service is excellent — delicious and satisfying, whether it’s the American breakfast set or the morning rice porridge. The highlight is definitely the freshly squeezed orange juice — it’s amazing! The villa is located quite far from the reception area, which results in weak Wi-Fi and mobile signals. Only 3G service is available in the room, so future guests should be aware of this limitation.

This place is very unique suitable for those who want to escape from bustling city. Not suggest to drive after sunset and prefer main road than short cut. Nice view at restaurant. Abf is perfect esp all breads I luv it!!!

It was a quiet place to spend some time away from the town. There is a good Italian restaurant nearby, from which we ordered delivery for dinner. The room had a nice garden space so we wanted to eat in the room.　The bathroom and the garden space are my favorites.I will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful manager. Recently renovated. Very friendly and welcoming. Very green. Nice wooden carvings on balconies. (It felt peaceful. I didn't mind the occasional airplanes flying overhead.) Location depends on what you are looking for.

Our stay in Chiang Mai was absolutely fantastic! The hotel, LANNA DEER, immediately impressed us with its lush greenery upon entering the grounds. The individual villa design perfectly captures the Northern Thai Lanna style, with white walls and brown windows complemented by tropical plants. The interplay of light and shadow on the walls created an incredible atmosphere. The private balcony in our room was the biggest highlight – sitting there in the morning, sipping hot tea, overlooking the lawn and palm trees, and waking up to the sound of birds, truly felt like a proper vacation. The hotel's infinity pool is also a must-visit; the water is crystal clear, and taking photos by the poolside is simply stunning. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the exquisite and delicious afternoon tea snacks to the complimentary beautiful flower garlands. If you're looking to experience the slow pace of life in Chiang Mai, this place is definitely the perfect choice!

I rarely leave reviews when traveling with my kids, but this time I just have to share. We booked this hotel as a surprise for a summer camp trip, and honestly, I was a bit nervous since I didn't know anything about it, and we had the little one with us. Turns out, it was an incredibly enjoyable trip! The hotel is just the right size – not too big, so the kids were always within sight and easy to keep track of, without getting too tired. By the end, they were even going to breakfast and the pool by themselves. It’s super clean; the cleaning staff tidied our room daily, and even the vacant rooms next door were cleaned every day. The butler spoke perfect Chinese, making communication a breeze and helping us sort out all our initial questions and concerns. They even helped plan our itinerary and recommended great places to eat and fun activities. The Lanna-style design creates a very peaceful atmosphere – perfect for sipping coffee in the morning, listening to the birds, and gazing at the rice paddies and flowers. The kitchen stays open until 11 PM, which is really convenient since many outside restaurants close earlier. If you chat with the kitchen staff, they can even whip up some unexpected home-style dishes. As for the price… I personally think it offers excellent value for money. Already looking forward to my next trip and coming back here!

Loved the hotel! It's like a large garden. The breakfast is also very good. The service is very simple. The waiters are very simple. It is suitable for secluded travel because it is not convenient to go in and out of the mountain. But it is suitable for those who like to stay away from the city.
