This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The moment I stepped into the room, it felt like coming home, and I instantly relaxed. The room was decorated very cozily, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept incredibly soundly at night; it's really rare to feel so secure when traveling. I especially want to commend the hotel staff; their service was incredibly thoughtful! From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone greeted us with a smile and quickly helped resolve any requests. They were as caring as family. A special shout-out to the young lady from Qingyuan, Guangdong – as fellow natives, it was a heartwarming reunion. She spoke so kindly and gently, taking care of every detail, which truly put me at ease. I will definitely be back next time, highly recommended!

The guesthouse boasts an old-fashioned, understated, and cozy atmosphere. The common areas are perfect for relaxing with tea and conversation, far superior to those cheaply made trendy spots. It's conveniently located near the Hemu River and the Yuanjiang Bridge, ideal for families and photoshoots. On our second day, which happened to be Laba Festival, they thoughtfully provided Laba porridge for breakfast. The most delightful surprise was the overall experience. The owner was incredibly talkative, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the two cats, Xiaobai and Huaban, were exceptionally well-behaved – the best guests in the common areas. We even bumped into their dog, Dahuang, at the Hemu Bridge. Despite never having met him before, he recognized us by scent alone and led us back to the guesthouse. I'd never encountered such an intelligent dog before. They say pets resemble their owners, and the owner is clearly a gentle and warm-hearted person.

Beyond a five-star experience! The room was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities were excellent. Bvlgari toiletries were provided, and they thoughtfully prepared earplugs, disposable bath towels, regular towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, makeup remover pads, and even hydrating face masks! With both underfloor heating and radiators, the room was perfectly warm. Welcome snacks were provided in the room, and in the evening, they even delivered fruit wine, additional snacks, and warm milk! Outside, there was a charming small courtyard with two swings – one overlooking the valley, the other facing the expansive grassland. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Watching herds of horses slowly make their way home across the grassland at sunset was a truly delightful experience! What impressed me most was that the hotel contacted us in advance, provided a comprehensive travel guide, and enthusiastically helped with directions, answered all our questions about local attractions, and offered excellent suggestions. They even helped arrange a car for us to see the morning mist. Although the fog was too thick to see the river, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. It's an absolute secluded paradise, truly living up to its 'hidden gem' reputation!

Environment: You absolutely have to book a stay in the old village, as it's much more convenient. The new village is also a B&B right next to each other, but it's not as convenient. I originally wanted to book a stay in Yijing, but because I booked too late and there weren't enough rooms, I gave up. After comparing Yijing and Wushangyin, I ultimately chose Wushangyin. My stay confirmed my decision! Location: The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the food court, though there isn't much good food there. You can take bus No. 2 or No. 3, which is two stops to Qiaotou Station, which is a ten-minute walk. Qiaotou Station is the central business district of Hemu Village, and KFC is right there. Facilities: Ansheng Villa and Wushangyin are located in separate courtyards, about 100 meters apart. The owner said Ansheng Villa only has four rooms. Surrounded by neatly arranged B&Bs, the view isn't very wide, but after a day of snow, the first clear day offered a beautiful view from the window. The interior is well-appointed, and the doors and windows are of excellent quality. There's also a slight foul smell from the sewers, which seems to be a common problem in Kanas and Hemu. We booked two rooms, a single-family room and a suite, located next door. The single-family room was larger and had a bathtub, but I doubt the electric water heater would have been able to handle the water usage. The suite was smaller, but had the advantage of a spacious shared living room. There was also a washing machine in the common area. During the snowy weather, which made it difficult to go out, I did a load of laundry. Although there wasn't a dryer, Xinjiang is even drier than Beijing, and even my fleece clothes dried in the underfloor heating. Dining: Breakfast was at Yinshi Fuguang Restaurant. It was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, so the food was average. The buffet was closed the next day, so we had tomato and egg noodles and beef noodles. They were better than the buffet and warm and comfortable. Yinshi Restaurant's main course was also good, with reasonably priced home-style dishes.

The courtyard's location is superb; you can see snow-capped mountains, Hemu Bridge, and the Harden Viewpoint right from inside the house, with the Hemu River flowing right next to it. There's a swing and various flowers and plants in the courtyard, perfect for taking photos. Breakfast is a set menu that can be delivered to your room, and the afternoon tea is plentiful. Enjoying afternoon tea while admiring the beautiful scenery is very pleasant. The service was also excellent, a big thumbs up! Regarding facilities: the hair dryer is a powerful Laifen brand, and the room itself is very stylish. There are relatively few charging ports, but the guesthouse owner provided an extension cord, so it's sufficient. There is an electric water heater, so you need to take showers at intervals. The only drawback is that the toiletries are quite basic; I suggest changing the supplier.

This is our top choice for accommodation in Hemu Village! The location is superb, within walking distance to Hemu Bridge and the main street, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to the action. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a cozy and comfortable log cabin aesthetic. The underfloor heating is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep even on dry days. The service is warm and attentive; they even provided helpful tips and recommendations for our trip. Every detail was perfect. Highly recommended!

The room was spotless, and the location in the old village is perfect. It's right by the Hemu Bridge, just off the Qiaotou station. You can see the Hemu River from the window and hear the sound of the flowing water, which was incredibly convenient for catching the morning mist at Haden (the second picture was taken right outside the room). They also have a restaurant, and I highly recommend their fried rice noodles, stir-fried noodles with shredded pork, baked buns, and spicy roasted naan – all delicious! The prices were quite reasonable for a scenic area. Finally, a huge thank you to the hotel manager and the Hemu Scenic Area staff! After leaving the scenic area and heading onto the Ahe Highway, I realized my bag was missing, and my ID was inside. I urgently contacted the hotel manager, who helped me find it. Then, the scenic area staff connected me with someone who brought it to the visitor center, allowing me to catch my flight! I'm truly, truly grateful!

Amazing hostel! Located conveniently. Yes on the pricier side but that is just the norm in Hemu village. For that price you get a great coffeeshop thats part of the hostel with some of the best staff I’ve met on my travels that gives a real sense of community and home. Always friendly and extremely helpful. The owner is also involved and shows genuine care for the operation, guests and staff. As close to a perfect hostel experience as you can get! Highly recommend this to all looking for a place to sleep in Hemu village or when visiting the ski resort.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and we received a free room upgrade. The service was warm and attentive. It was very convenient for getting around and sightseeing, with a dedicated car pick-up and drop-off. We didn't even have to wait in line at the front desk; check-in was directly in our room. They patiently introduced us to local attractions and activities. The overall experience for dining, accommodation, and touring was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I truly recommend it to everyone!

We drove to Altay for this trip, and after doing a lot of research, we decided on this hotel. After staying there, I feel like we made the right choice. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a full day of driving. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive and quickly helped us check in. The room was even better than the pictures; it was meticulously cleaned, with not a single stain on the floor or in the bathroom, and the bedding felt dry and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the environment. The temperature in the mountains was perfect for summer, and when we opened the window, all we saw were lush mountains and forests. It was so quiet at night, with no bothersome noise, so after a long day of travel, we slept incredibly soundly.
