The room was really clean and great. We received a free room upgrade, and the butler even picked us up from the station. The room had a direct view of the birch forest, perfect for taking photos. The heating was excellent, and there was also air conditioning. I was very satisfied with this trip.

Beyond a five-star experience! The room was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities were excellent. Bvlgari toiletries were provided, and they thoughtfully prepared earplugs, disposable bath towels, regular towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, makeup remover pads, and even hydrating face masks! With both underfloor heating and radiators, the room was perfectly warm. Welcome snacks were provided in the room, and in the evening, they even delivered fruit wine, additional snacks, and warm milk! Outside, there was a charming small courtyard with two swings – one overlooking the valley, the other facing the expansive grassland. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Watching herds of horses slowly make their way home across the grassland at sunset was a truly delightful experience! What impressed me most was that the hotel contacted us in advance, provided a comprehensive travel guide, and enthusiastically helped with directions, answered all our questions about local attractions, and offered excellent suggestions. They even helped arrange a car for us to see the morning mist. Although the fog was too thick to see the river, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. It's an absolute secluded paradise, truly living up to its 'hidden gem' reputation!

The guesthouse boasts an old-fashioned, understated, and cozy atmosphere. The common areas are perfect for relaxing with tea and conversation, far superior to those cheaply made trendy spots. It's conveniently located near the Hemu River and the Yuanjiang Bridge, ideal for families and photoshoots. On our second day, which happened to be Laba Festival, they thoughtfully provided Laba porridge for breakfast. The most delightful surprise was the overall experience. The owner was incredibly talkative, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the two cats, Xiaobai and Huaban, were exceptionally well-behaved – the best guests in the common areas. We even bumped into their dog, Dahuang, at the Hemu Bridge. Despite never having met him before, he recognized us by scent alone and led us back to the guesthouse. I'd never encountered such an intelligent dog before. They say pets resemble their owners, and the owner is clearly a gentle and warm-hearted person.

The restaurant here provides delicious food, had three meals. The location is ideal, very close to the bus stop to the entrance of the scenic area. The attitude of the waiter is super good, but the hot water supply system really needs to be carefully fixed. It is not a problem for the next person to wait 30 minutes after each shower, but the hot water supply is unstable, sometimes hot and sometimes cold, which is very inconvenient and uncomfortable. At this price, it is not worth it.

Environment: You absolutely have to book a stay in the old village, as it's much more convenient. The new village is also a B&B right next to each other, but it's not as convenient. I originally wanted to book a stay in Yijing, but because I booked too late and there weren't enough rooms, I gave up. After comparing Yijing and Wushangyin, I ultimately chose Wushangyin. My stay confirmed my decision! Location: The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the food court, though there isn't much good food there. You can take bus No. 2 or No. 3, which is two stops to Qiaotou Station, which is a ten-minute walk. Qiaotou Station is the central business district of Hemu Village, and KFC is right there. Facilities: Ansheng Villa and Wushangyin are located in separate courtyards, about 100 meters apart. The owner said Ansheng Villa only has four rooms. Surrounded by neatly arranged B&Bs, the view isn't very wide, but after a day of snow, the first clear day offered a beautiful view from the window. The interior is well-appointed, and the doors and windows are of excellent quality. There's also a slight foul smell from the sewers, which seems to be a common problem in Kanas and Hemu. We booked two rooms, a single-family room and a suite, located next door. The single-family room was larger and had a bathtub, but I doubt the electric water heater would have been able to handle the water usage. The suite was smaller, but had the advantage of a spacious shared living room. There was also a washing machine in the common area. During the snowy weather, which made it difficult to go out, I did a load of laundry. Although there wasn't a dryer, Xinjiang is even drier than Beijing, and even my fleece clothes dried in the underfloor heating. Dining: Breakfast was at Yinshi Fuguang Restaurant. It was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, so the food was average. The buffet was closed the next day, so we had tomato and egg noodles and beef noodles. They were better than the buffet and warm and comfortable. Yinshi Restaurant's main course was also good, with reasonably priced home-style dishes.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for accessing and departing the Kanas scenic area. The rooms are spotless and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The staff provides genuinely thoughtful service. There's a large, independent, and free parking lot right outside. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying. After a long day of travel, it's a truly reassuring place to rest. Overall, a great stay experience, highly recommended.

The Hemu Guanqiao Pavilion B&B I stayed in this time completely exceeded my expectations! From booking to check-in, I felt the caring service throughout the whole process. The B&B is located in the Hemu Scenic Area. Outside the window are snow-capped mountains, forests and Hemu River. You can see the Internet-famous Hemu Bridge in the room, as if you are in a fairy tale world. The room is clean and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery. The housekeeper also thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea, which was super photogenic. Facilities such as floor heating and humidifiers are all available. The bedding is soft and clean, and the fatigue of the journey is swept away. The housekeeper's service is full marks! Not only did he help with the luggage, but he was also very considerate to wait for us at the bus stop in advance, and patiently recommended the surrounding hiking routes and the best viewing time. The large platform of the B&B is breathtaking for watching the sunrise and sunset, the starry sky and the Milky Way. Breakfast is freshly made steamed dumplings, buns, wonton stew, and Xinjiang's delicious carrot juice, which warms the stomach and heart. It takes only 50 meters to walk to the Hemu Bridge from the B&B. The surrounding birch forest and Harden platform are very convenient. Living here really experiences the ”slow life”. Next time I come to Hemu, I will definitely choose Guanqiao Pavilion. I highly recommend it to friends who want to experience the beauty of nature and humanity!

After a previous bad experience in Hemu, I was a bit hesitant about switching rooms and checking in on the same day, but my stay completely changed my mind. The cleanliness, which was my biggest concern, was truly impressive. Every corner of the room was spotless, the bedding was pristine, and the bathroom had no water stains or odors. The hotel's overall environment is very well-maintained, clean everywhere you look. The tourist spots are conveniently located, so you don't waste a lot of time traveling. For the price, this experience truly exceeded my expectations. If I ever come back to Altay, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
