The CityHub Amsterdam is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The CityHub Amsterdam offers a pleasant stay in Amsterdam for those traveling for business or leisure. From the hotel, Amsterdam Central Station is just 4km away. Famous local attractions Anne Frank House, Museum Square and The 9 Streets, can all be reached with a short walk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service.

"We had a wonderful stay overall. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The team was professional and attentive throughout our visit. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying again."

Amazing
GGuest UserExcellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. Thank you for a great stay and I hope to come back again when I am back in the Netherlands. Kind regards, Diederik Lugt

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite large, and the breakfast is plentiful. There's a park nearby, and dining options are very convenient. The subway station is just 100 meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. I'd definitely consider booking here again in the future, especially since the Ctrip price was excellent. It would be even more perfect if I could earn Accor points!

GGuest UserGreat location and staff, but poor cleanliness I liked this hotel overall, mainly because of its fantastic location right in the center of Amsterdam. It was extremely convenient for walking around the city, and all the main attractions are very close by. The staff was friendly, multilingual, and helpful with everything. They gave us great recommendations on where to go and even lent us an umbrella for the rain. Our room on the 4th floor was very spacious, especially by Amsterdam standards. However, the cleanliness was a major disappointment. The room was poorly cleaned: there was a lot of dust, the closets were dirty, and the coffee machine was so filthy that we didn't even want to use it. My overall impression is not bad, but due to the lack of cleanliness, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Ll3unnyI arrived at like midnight but luckily there’s someone at the reception 24/7. The hotel is at an excellent location, it was ok to push my suitcase over from Amsterdam central station, I think it took 10minutes yet I was shocked to see the very steep staircase because I had a 26” 22kgs big suitcase with me, along with a 7 kgs hand card travel bag, 6kgs backpack. There’s absolute no way I’d be able to carry all that up stairs without tumbling down and getting injured before I could reach the reception desk. Thankfully, the male staff who work at the front desk were all nice and willing to help, ie 1st time for bringing all my baggage from the bottom of the steps at the entrance up to my room during which we encountered even more steep stairs to reach the room; 2nd time was when I had to check out, I left my suitcase outside the room and needed staff to help me bring it down to the reception storage; 3rd time was from reception down to the bottom at the entrance, otherwise I would not have able to stay at the hotel with all my bulky and heavy baggages. It’s an old hotel so soundproofing maybe a bit of a problem, like I could hear floor boards creaking but it’s bearable and I had a good sleep. I had bit of a hard time finding my room, it felt like a maze in a boat or an anthill, but staff showed me the way to my room. The view outside the window was wonderful, Van Gogh museum and rijksmuseum were within walking distances like under 40 minutes. It’d be even if they provided a water kettle, but I was happy that they actually have tv and air con! I’d stay here again, just that I better not bring a big suitcase next time. Thank you to the 3 staff I encountered on October 10th and 11th!

LLouis JoeChatGPT said: The room carried a gentle, welcoming atmosphere and stayed clean and comfortable the whole time. Settling in was effortless, with a soft bed, warm lighting, and a layout that made relaxing come naturally. Everything in the space functioned smoothly, with no minor issues to deal with. The staff were quietly professional, easy to approach, helpful when needed, and never overbearing. Their steady presence made each interaction feel natural and uncomplicated. From arrival to departure, the service stayed consistent and efficient. Even small requests were handled quickly and without fuss. The overall environment had a calm, reassuring feel that set a pleasant tone for the stay. In the end, it proved to be a straightforward, restful place to unwind, offering comfort without any unnecessary complications.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel with our child. Overall the stay was fine and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept well. The area is great – quiet, safe and close to shops and cafés. However, the room was a bit cold and our child got chilly at night. There were no carpets on the floor, so our socks were always getting dirty and the floor felt dusty. The breakfast was also quite weak, with a rather limited selection. In general it was an okay stay, but with a warmer room, better floor cleanliness and a stronger breakfast, the experience could be much better.
