"We arrived and were told we could check in at 2 PM. We went into town, and when we returned around 3:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Luckily, we received two complimentary drinks as compensation. Once in the room, we found the curtain was broken, leaving a gap where light streamed in. The TV by the bathtub wasn't working, and the shower kept fluctuating between hot and cold. We reported these issues in the late afternoon, and someone was supposedly coming to fix them. We went out again and returned after a couple of hours, only to find the curtain still broken. We went back to reception, but the maintenance team had already left. Since we didn't want to be woken up by light, a staff member eventually went to try and fix it themselves, but unfortunately, they couldn't. Despite these unpleasant circumstances, I would still recommend the hotel. It's a nice hotel, but the staff aren't always as efficient as they could be."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the square and Queen's Department Store. I highly recommend it; getting around is super convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (except for a few in the restaurant who seemed to be from Southeast Asia; they spoke to you as if they were scolding you, and their attitude was quite rude, which really detracted from the overall staff image). Breakfast was quite plentiful, and the room size was decent and quiet. However, due to the layout, you could only fully open one large suitcase without it getting in the way of walking."

"It was my first ever stay with any Ibis hotel. There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel which is convenient. They say that check in is available after 15:00 but they let us use the room before 14.:00. The room was good but the central AC was not working there so we upgraded the room in €15 for two nights to their AC room. Although they do mention at the booking that the room will have AC/heating. But the system was not working as they said due to repair so for our ease we upgraded our room. They did offer a great price for an upgrade which is good. I enjoyed their breakfast as well which was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of the place was amazing and we had a really good sleep."

"Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel. Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully. There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1. "Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was quite disappointing . The first issue happened when I arrived for check-in. I was told at the counter that check-in was only available after 3pm, so I left my luggage with the hotel and informed the staff that I would return at night to check in. However, when I returned at night, the main entrance door was already closed for security reasons. I was completely blocked outside because no one had informed me that the main entrance would be locked after a certain time, and that guests could only enter through another door by tapping their room card. The problem was that I had not checked in yet, so I obviously did not have a room card. There was a machine outside to contact the front desk, but no one responded when I tried to use it. I had to figure out how to get into the building myself, which was extremely frustrating, especially after travelling and arriving at night. The second issue was when I checked out in the morning and wanted to store my luggage. I was then told that luggage storage would cost $5.30. I found this quite surprising, as I had not been informed about the charge beforehand. Since I had plans, I have no choice to paid for it ."

"The service is one of the best among all Hyatt team. The food is delicious and the restaurant is extremely well run with the best service staff. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful too. After we come back from a biking trip and returning the bike key. He will Ask how’s your ride? We have been on the road for almost three weeks. All interactions made us feel at home. Such a pleasant stay! My daughter and I have fun at the lemonade and ginger ale stand as well! The gym and the spa are very nice too! Love to come back."

"Overall, this stay was just average! The hotel boasts a fantastic view, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the window offered a wide view. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly and recommended nearby attractions. I would book again if I have the chance."

"Overall experience was great, one of the late morning check-in male staff was really welcoming and even upgraded me to a higher floor with a fantastic view of the river. But since the checkin is 3pm, when I got back, another burlier guy got us our keys but was way too serious and sombre. It's fine but a smile would go a long way. One tiny irk was the lack of bedroom slippers in a carpeted room. I feel it should be basic. And this is the one time I didn't bring a just-in-case pair and i was caught out. Anyway, location is good, tram connection to the Centraal Station just across the street or a 10min walk."
