We are staying at the Intercontinental hotels as our main hotel and have been most impressed. Our stay at the Amstel was so pleasant! The staff was absolutely amazing, every person we encounter was so helpful and kind. It is impossible to single out anyone as each team member was great. We ate at the hotel all of our meals except one and the food and service were perfect. We were so grateful that although the afternoon tea was full they were able to accommodate us in another beautiful location where our view was spectacular. We are in hotels 150 nights a year and our experience at the Amstel was one of the very best. The staff members were such nice quality people. They thanked us for allowing them to provide assistance to us. We were so humbled by the generosity of the hotel staff. While dining everyone pitches in and help one another and whatever we could want was provided immediately. Thank you very much with complete sincerity and gratitude. The management should be commended for encouraging such terrific service. We look forward to our next visit to Amsterdam and staying at the Amstel.

Waldorf Amsterdam. The location has nothing to say, just by the Gentleman's Canal, an old European house.1.2-1.5 kilometers from several major museums, within 20 minutes walk (the three-story canal and each few steps have a cute bridge and a small house like chocolate on the shore make the journey shorter). First-class service, breakfast is very good, smoked salmon and ham are made by themselves, the taste is very good, but the room meal is difficult to say đ; Room hygiene is also an absolute standard. The floor of the light white bathroom, bathtub, shower, countertop, and anywhere can not find a trace of uncleanness. The cleaning waiter is still so haunted (like the high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo); The bath is a full set of large bottles of Aesop, put it directly; basically, except for the expensive, there is nothing wrong with ď˝ I will consider living in Amsterdam next time.

Hotel is very convenient as it is located near to the Amsterdam Central station. The gym has most equipment but the pool is small so itâs not for swimming, just for hanging out at the pool. Rooms can get a little noisy as itâs near a busy shopping district. Thereâs the usual Nespresso machine, tea. No complimentary water, no in room slippers unless one is in the premium rooms. No toothbrush, toothpaste etc, jus tiny shampooo, conditioner and shower gels. No usb charging port, just a uk electrical port and two Europe ports. One of the thing I like about this hotel is that one can opt out of room service and choose between a food voucher, bottle of wine or hotel points. Overall itâs a clean and comfortable hotel located in a prime location.

They let us check in early as our flight landed there in the morning. The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and gave us great service. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options. Excellent espresso! We were able to walk to many of the attractions.

Location: very nicely located between tram stops and metro station. You can easily access the city center by tram or metro. I love how quiet the area is without the noise from the main city.
Service: it was raining very heavily during my arrival at the hotel, and the staff only allowed soaking wet guests to check in at 3pm. I think some flexibility can be practiced here. Breakfast is good, but the exact same every single day. I was there for 7 days and would have appreciated some variation. In-house restaurantâs burger and fries were good but the pizza is frozen and costs âŹ12.
Cleanliness: housekeeping is adequate but very inconsistent. Some days the toilet wasnât scrubbed, no plastic lining for the bin, no change of cups, etc. Note that hotel does not provide toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers for single room type.
Amenities: wouldnât advise paying âŹ19 for the spa facilities as the space is very limited and filled with rowdy teenagers. Certainly not conducive for relaxing with all the noise. . I only stayed for half an hour and never went back for the rest of my stay.

The hotel is located in Amsterdam Amstel and is connected to the Metro (Station Overamstel, approx. 6 min. by foot). So it's a great starting point to experience the city of Amsterdam. Especially wellness and gym are a nice possibility to use. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is also versatile and fresh. The restaurant is not as good as expected, but still solid. The service was friendly and attentive at all times, the cocktails in the bar âMoqumâ in the lobby are also really recommendable.

This hotel is new and well-maintained. It is conveniently located just 20 minutes by tram from the train station and 30 minutes from the main museums. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there were a few minor issues. The door to our room was extremely heavy, making it difficult for some guests to open. Additionally, the air conditioning unit made a cleaning sound during the night, which was disruptive to our sleep. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and I would recommend it to others.

Given the reviews, I was not keen to stay here, but thanks to Ajax v Napoli there were no others available. To sum up, this isn't a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It is a 3 star hotel. Positives: - Location is superb - Architecturally stunning building - Large room (in my case, at least) - WiFi speeds are good. I was able to do video meetings from my room - Staff were pleasant and friendly Negatives: - Inside, the hotel is dark and in a state of disrepair - The kitchen closes early, and room service appears to not be possible. I was told that I should download Uber Eats if I wanted food after 10pm. - The room is tidy, but basic areas like around the sinks, bath, windows and TV were dirty - There is a smell of sewage that comes from the shower drain - The majority of channels on the TV are unavailable - There is no air conditioning. I had 2 tower fans in my room, and I had to use them both just to stay cool - No help with luggage, not that I couldn't manage myself - You get a bottle of water on the table when you check in. I had some the first night because it was so hot in the room. The second night when I was working late, I turned to open my fresh bottle. Nope! Same half empty bottle, had just been moved back to the table again. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel! Stay somewhere else. A few weeks earlier, I stayed in the Sofitel Legend. THAT is a 5 star hotel.

The W hotel in my impression has very high-end facilities, but the W Hotel in Amsterdam has average facilities. The bar upstairs is more upscale, but the breakfast is not that good. The shower head was broken during my stay. I think they should check it regularly. The equipment was updated, and the housekeeping was not done very quickly, because it was originally expected to be tidying up the room for us at 3:00pm, but it was postponed to 4:00pm. However, we were asked to wait in the bar upstairs, which just delayed some of the schedule. Next time I probably won't choose this room again. To my credit, the view outside the window is beautiful.

Outstanding
GGuest UserTrust me you will not be disappointed. The hotel is clean and modern. The hospitality is beyond amazing. The friendliest front desk that is available 24/7. Location is spot on. Train station, including busses, metro etc across the road and no more than a 5 minute walk. Was 1 stop to get into the centre of Amsterdam and very easy to navigate the public transport to venture into different neighborhoods as well. Hands down I will recommend hotel2stay to everyone heading to Amsterdam ! Thank you so much to all the staff that made our stay so pleasurable.
IIKEDAThe staff felt that everyone was very powerful in making this hotel more attractive. It made me feel friendly and warm (especially the lady at the reception! It was bright and just like a signboard girl).
The hotel has converted traditional architecture into a modern boutique hotel. It is comfortable with an elevator and air conditioning. There was also Nespresso in the room. The amenities are also of good quality.
The location is perfect (it takes about 10 minutes to reach the central station, so you don't have to worry about sightseeing, shopping, or dining).
It took about 25 minutes by taxi to the airport for 45 euros. If the number of passengers is 3 or more and you have a lot of luggage, it may be more convenient than using public transportation.
There is a refrigerator, but it's small and contains drinks that you pay for what you drink, so you can't put in too much extra.

IIrene KYMI love the location. Its close to Dam Square and shopping street. 7 minswalk to Amsterdam Central Station so its convenient. Toilet bowl has stain and not well cleaned. Room is comfortable overall. I love the breakfast and friendly staff.
GGuest UserHotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you donât mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldnât mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if theyâd been handed in I was told they hadnât. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them
PPritam ManeraoHands down the best location if you wanna be away from the center crowd but also wanna be close to pretty much everything. The staff was great. We got late for breakfast a couple of times and the staff was so kind to extend their breakfast timing just for us.
GGuest UserStayed here one night on IHG rewards points as a platinum member. Reception staff were super friendly, efficient and professional. The room was excellent on the 12th floor with great corner window views. Breakfast also good. Iâd say this was one of the best express stays Iâve had. Sometimes this brand can be fairly low on the quality scale but this location is fantastic. Also, the let me store my bike in the luggage room of the holiday inn below.
GGuest UserAfter our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branchesâit was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasnât quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didnât wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.
GGuest UserThis hotel was firstly picked due to previous reviews, location and price. So everything was good here. All the staff we met were good friendly people, well done. We had a room for 3 persons that was situated at the back of the hotel, nice and quiet away from the road noise. Room was 114. A decent size with 3 single beds, and a Nespresso machine!, brilliant. room was clean and tidy and towels were changed every day even though we tried to save them. Didn't eat here so can commit. We had an opening window into a wooded area, that was good to see the parrots flying around, however a bit of a mess outside and someone has left their shovel!. We used the bus from the airport that stops just around the corner from this hotel, and costs around ÂŁ6.50 a single journey. So really handy to get there. The hotel is a short walk from the main areas, so a good plus point. Would I stay at this hotel again, and recommend for the reasons I picked it? YES
I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance, since the location and the price were so perfect. I was not disapointed. The staff was very friendly, the room, the sheets, towels and bathroom were really clean. I could point two negative things about this room: it was really small (which was no problem, I was alone) and my pillow was nothing but a folded blanket inside a pillow cover. Other than that no complains. Could definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserThe service was very good, nice personnel at the front desk, the room was cleaned every day and so on.
Very good location near the city center and therefore I can kinda understand the price of the room etc
My room was on the 3rd floor, the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor, not really a big deal but a bit weird.
Don't get me wrong, the room itself felt clean and fresh, nothing to complain about there besides that the shower pressure was insanly low, sometimes the water just stopped running at all during a shower...
But the big issue is the size of the room itself and what you get for over a âŹ100 a night, I booked a single room for one person, and the room feels like it's built around the frame of the bed, the room is incredible small, smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and the most expensive one as well.
The bathroom is so small that the toilet is placed just behind the sink so you barely have room to actually sit on the toilet, and the glass door to the shower can only be opened on one side... the side where the sink is so you have about 30cm of room to get out of the shower because the sink is in the way...
Like I said, the room felt clean and fresh, but it is ridiculously small.
Overall a good stay, the room was good enough for sleeping in but for the size of the room and what you pay for it doesn't really add up, over a âŹ100 a night for a room barely bigger than the bed itself is kinda weird.
