Cleanliness: The room was clean and smelled fresh; the lobby was tastefully decorated.
Amenities: The heating was excellent.
Environment: Very close to the entrance of the West Slope Scenic Area, and there's an Eurasia Supermarket right next door, making it convenient to buy daily necessities and snacks.
Service: I recommend the guesthouse's breakfast; it was delicious and plentiful, giving us plenty of energy for our morning hike up the West Slope!
Finally, Tiezhu is so cute! ☺️

1. Pick-up and drop-off service is available, which is super convenient!
2. The bunk beds were my kids' favorite! They said they want to come back to this hotel specifically because of them next time.
3. The sofa by the window spans the entire length of the room, so we could neatly line up all our clothes, which was incredibly handy.
4. The front desk staff and butler were incredibly responsive and accommodating. 100 points!
5. Perhaps because of the bunk beds, I noticed there were always two cleaning staff members, which is a big plus.
6. The evening activities were fantastic every day. After skiing, we'd soak in the hot springs, and right after dinner, we'd catch the iron flower show. The iron flowers were even more beautiful than fireworks.
7. The instructor was excellent. My 6-year-old was able to ski on their own after just two hours of one-on-one lessons.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our trip to Changbai Mountain. We'll definitely be back next year!

Guest UserThe location is central, but using the back entrance makes everything easily accessible, and it's not right on the food street, so it feels very quiet. Taking the back exit near the lollipops in the hotel lobby, and then the path in front of the big lawn, is even closer and more convenient. The overall service was excellent; every guest gets a hotel assistant. Our assistant, 7-Up, sent messages beforehand with reminders, weather forecasts, and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a deluxe twin room and got one with a mountain view. From the room, you could see the lawn, cable car, etc., offering great views. Food: Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet. The dinner buffet had grilled skewers, hot pots, and other decent options.
Resort-wide benefits: They included access to the slide, cable car, water park, hot springs, and more. Everything was great, except for the long wait times for the slide.
The hotel facilities are quite old, but they are clean, which is a plus. Overall, it was a good experience.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

F yiOur family came to Changbai Mountain to escape the summer heat during the summer vacation and stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Jinhua. The layout is very well-designed, with a separate living room and bedrooms. The resort has complete facilities for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Unfortunately, it rained continuously during our stay, so we couldn't use some of the facilities. A special shout-out to our butler, Haha, who was incredibly attentive! Any issues we had were communicated and resolved promptly, and they kept us updated on the status of activities within the resort. Communication was effective throughout, messages were replied to very quickly, and they even kindly reminded us about precautions for traveling in the mountains during the rain. The bedding in the room was dry and comfortable, and all facilities were well-maintained.

ZhumengchanglaoBefore I list all the issues encountered during this trip, I'd like to commend the following staff members (whose full names I unfortunately don't know): Butler Xiao Song, Duty Manager Xiao Gao on August 6th, and Duty Manager Xiao Wang on August 7th. I was satisfied with their service attitude and efficiency; my dissatisfaction lies with the hotel's management and some other personnel. Below, I will truthfully recount my experience:
1. **Check-in on August 5th**: We checked into the hotel before 3 PM. Out of three rooms, only one twin room was ready. We went for dinner and returned around 4:30 PM, only to be told another room was still not ready! After urging, it was cleaned within 20 minutes, allowing everyone to finally check in.
2. **Incident on August 6th**: After returning from an outing, my wife slipped and slightly twisted her ankle in the room. The reason was a large amount of water on the floor (photos will be attached), clearly left after cleaning and not dried promptly. Upon immediate complaint, the duty manager arranged an upgrade to a suite (a serious issue, but the solution was acceptable).
3. **The Most Serious Issue**: Around 8 PM on the evening of the 6th, the air conditioning in the suite felt ineffective. Maintenance was called, and we were told the AC was fine, just that the room was large and it would cool down eventually. By 10:30 PM, it was still ineffective. When we requested another check, we were informed that the AC in this room (3052) was indeed faulty! It couldn't be repaired that day! Given how late it was, I only asked the duty manager to quickly arrange another problem-free room so we could rest, and I didn't pursue further complaints. Since I don't know the name of this maintenance worker, I can't name him, but his behavior was appalling! The hotel should bear full responsibility for this.
I'd also like to state that I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and usually enjoy staying at Marriott brand hotels. However, due to the points mentioned above, my experience this stay was extremely poor! This is not the service standard or staff quality expected from a five-star hotel! For all these issues, I reserve the right to continue complaining and seek compensation. I urge both Trip.com and Marriott Group to take these issues seriously and provide timely feedback!

We brought our child to Tianchi and thought it would be nice for them to soak in the hot springs after coming down from the mountain. That turned out to be a great idea! We had a fantastic time at the hot spring hotel that day and spent most of the next day exploring the resort. There are so many activities, and it's a one-stop shop for food, accommodation, and entertainment, all in a beautiful setting. We originally planned to spend the whole day enjoying the activities, but we had to leave the water park quickly because the water was too cold. My only suggestion is that since this place caters to families with seniors and children, the water temperature is too low. The kids' play area was only 19 degrees Celsius, and the wave pool was just over 20 degrees. Many families went in without realizing how cold it was and came out shortly after, with their children's lips turning purple and shivering from the cold. I really hope the water temperature can be adjusted, made a bit warmer. Also, towels should be provided upon exiting the pool, not just after showering. I told a staff member my child was shivering and asked if we could get a towel, especially since it was windy outside, and only then did they say yes. I don't mean anything by it, but this is one area where they could learn from other hot spring hotels. The Holiday Inn Express where we stayed was quite good, with a rich breakfast and very friendly and enthusiastic front desk service. However, the staff at the entrance seemed more helpful to tour groups. For those of us who drove ourselves, they weren't as attentive. Maybe they figured we wouldn't be returning. I was alone with my child, carrying two pieces of luggage, and no one at the entrance offered to help. But when a tour group came out, they immediately helped them with their luggage onto their bus… I don't even want to comment on that…

ZoubianbaliI arrived by train on the 13th, and it was pouring rain on the way to the hotel, getting even heavier by the time I pulled in. The front desk handed me the room cards. When I asked for directions to the villa area, they told me to ask a staff member at the entrance. But it was chaos out there, with the heavy rain, numerous tourists, and hotel staff all mixed together. I immediately WeChat messaged the concierge. She offered to send a staff member to guide us. I said it was too messy right then and asked for the villa address so I could drive myself, also asking if there was a reception at the villa area. She confirmed there was a reception on the first floor. When we found our villa, there was no attendant on the first floor. Since I was on the second floor, I had to carry my own luggage up. I contacted the concierge again, and she replied, 'We just don't have attendants on the first floor here!' I reminded her that she had told me there would be one, which was why I came. Eventually, she sent a bellhop to help me with the bags. The bedding was only for two people; nothing was prepared for the child. So, I had to bother the hotel again to send another set of bedding. The blanket and pillow they brought were wet and covered in mud. I took photos and sent them to the concierge, who replied that it was because of the rain and their staff were all wet. The soundproofing in the villa rooms was terrible; I could hear the neighbors chatting all night. The next day, we moved to the apartment area, and still, there was no bedding for the child. When I asked the concierge, she said, 'All the rooms are full now, so we really don't have any more bedding. If we did, I would definitely give it to you.' I was stunned and asked how my child was supposed to sleep. She then offered two duvet covers and suggested turning up the heating. She insisted there was absolutely nothing else. Out of options, I contacted Ctrip to explain the situation. Ctrip then contacted the hotel, and soon after, the concierge called, saying she had found a blanket from another hotel and that I should just contact her directly for anything in the future. I can't imagine if Ctrip hadn't intervened, would the hotel have just not provided a blanket? The service quality was really subpar. We had to ask about the hotel's restaurant locations ourselves; no one told us during check-in. On the first day, I asked the concierge about dining options, and she recommended a 'iron pot stew' place that was a 5-minute drive away. It wasn't far, but the road had no streetlights and was pitch black. Later, I discovered there was a commercial street right next to the main hotel building with another 'iron pot stew' place and barbecue. Turns out the hotel must have some connection to that first 'iron pot stew' restaurant!

The hotel is located in Wanda Resort, and it's pretty much door-to-door with Yuhua, HIE, and Momoland hotels. The facilities inside the hotel are a bit old, especially the bathroom, where the floor creaks when you walk on it, leading to very poor soundproofing. The hotel service is excellent, especially Manager Wang, who was responsive to all our questions and promptly helped solve various issues – highly recommend! The complimentary activities included with the booking were all great, like the hot springs, boat ride, and cable car. On August 15th, the resort wasn't very crowded, so there were hardly any queues for anything, making for a fantastic experience.

MAG_zcThe Park Hyatt Changbaishan offers an absolutely amazing resort experience 🌿. The hotel is nestled deep within the resort area, providing excellent privacy. Its overall style is a understated yet elegant New Chinese design, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was incredibly spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the balcony offered distant views of the mountains and forests. I absolutely loved the room's aesthetic.
The breakfast selection was rich and high-quality, featuring both Western and Chinese options. The staff were warm and polite, check-in was efficient, and they were responsive without being overly enthusiastic. Getting around the resort area was convenient, and the environment was quiet and serene, perfectly embodying a relaxing vacation vibe. It's definitely my top choice for a Changbaishan getaway, and I'm very satisfied overall. Highly recommend staying here!
