Hotels with Breakfast in Hoofddorp

Spacious room, large bed, quiet environment, ensuring a good night's sleep. I checked in early at 14:15, but initially received a twin room. After 15:00, the staff kindly helped me switch to a king-size bed room. Upon check-in, there were also delicious and beautifully presented soft candies.

The Executive Residency was fine for our purposes. We came by bicycle and a secure area was provided for our bikes. The room was small, but adequate for our needs. There were a few little glitches - the lockbox was locked - some plates were left in the microwave oven, but nothing that we couldn’t deal with. The service staff were fine - one young man was a little overmatched for the work, but the other staff were fine. Overall - this is an adequate, no frills place to stay in Hoofddorp

The surroundings are quite quiet, and there are playground facilities. Breakfast is decent. It's a bit far from the airport, even though it's an airport hotel. There's a shuttle bus directly to the airport, and also from the airport to the hotel, but you need to book it in advance. Eating out is quite a distance, with the closest option being a McDonald's.

This is supposedly an ”airport hotel,” but it's in the middle of nowhere. I was there purely for a B2B trade show, so I had no choice of location. There's not much to say about room 604: spacious, modern, etc. Just one point: you could provide more than two coffee pods, because for a multi-night stay, if you don't ask for more and they don't clean the room, it's simply not enough. But the main issue was the key card that opens the room. For example, it didn't work in elevator 1 (apparently, this is a known issue, according to reception: when will you fix it?), and on the second day, it couldn't even open the floor doors or the room door anymore. It's unpleasant to have to go down six floors late at night and be escorted by staff just to get into your room :-(. Another major problem was the restaurant. For the last two days, they offered repetitive, rather basic buffets with very small plates. Absolutely nothing à la carte. Many people were disappointed and unhappy, whether they were like me attending the B2B event on the first floor or even all the tourists. Some were furious about the mediocre selection.

The day after I checked in, there was a public transport strike, so I couldn't take the bus to the airport. The hotel staff informed me of this at check-in and gave me information about an alternative shuttle bus nearby. The staff member was very friendly, which was a relief after a long journey and a lengthy immigration process 😊 You need to take a bus from the airport, and it would be challenging with large luggage. The bus stop in front of the airport requires a bit of a walk, and it was a bit difficult because it was raining (especially for me, as I'm bad with directions, haha). There was a long queue for taxis, so I'd recommend it for those with light luggage. You can just tap your credit card when boarding and alighting the bus! My room was near the elevator, so I was a bit worried about noise, but it was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The 12 PM check-out time was also a great help! ✨ It was a good hotel! I definitely recommend it!

The room was great, very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was also pretty good. My only minor complaint is that the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, but other than that, everything was fine.

I booked this hotel for one night because I had a flight the day after. The facilities are all new. The room is spacious. The hotel offers free pickup from airport and you need to pay €6 for the shuttle bus from hotel to airport. The only problem is that it is not very convenient to travel to restaurants and malls (need to walk ~15mins to the nearest bus stop and the bus frequencies are not high). We had a very good stay at Holiday Inn Express Schiphol Amsterdam. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and overall offered good value for money. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight — there was a good variety of food, and considering the price we paid for our stay, the breakfast was really good. One thing to keep in mind is the parking, which costs €25 per night. And one funny little moment: we ordered wine at the bar, but the staff couldn’t find the wine glasses, so our wine was served in beer glasses. 😂🍷🍺 Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would happily stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at the Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol. Hotel is relatively quiet. The Moxy shares a shuttle with NH Hotel. For the shuttle to the airport, payment is expected via a chip per person which can be obtained from reception and booking has to be made. It costs €4 per person who is not a Marriott Bonvoy member or €3.5 for members. It is free from the airport to the hotel. There is no fridge, coffee or tea making facilities. We had to place a deposit of €90 on check in. Free coffee available in the morning only as the grab and go. No bottle water given as tap water is drinkable.

All in all, pretty good. We were looking for an affordable, last-minute room near Keukenhof during the long May 1st weekend. Everything was quite standard and a bit dated, but clean, and it served its purpose. The staff was very friendly! The parking situation is actually great; we just had the bad luck of arriving in the evening while a wedding was happening in the event hall downstairs. This meant there were no parking spaces left, but I think that was a special circumstance. We just parked on the grass, like many others, so it wasn't a problem in the end.
