Cheap Hotels in Hoofddorp

"Although the staff was very friendly, it was a strange experience that no one at the front desk spoke Dutch. Most people can manage with English, and most guests are foreigners anyway, but still. The room is spacious and tidy, with a wonderful rain shower, slightly too soft pillows, and a slightly too firm bed – but that's a personal preference, of course. We were allowed to park for free, which was great service! It's also conveniently close to Schiphol, an excellent location. Overall, a very solid 8.5."

"Hotel Twenty-Three is located in a really great spot. The atmosphere is pleasant, the rooms are clean, and the beds are fine. However, there were also some downsides we experienced. For the second time, we tried to reserve a room with a bathtub (we made a special request), and upon arrival, we were told (just like during our first stay...) that it wasn't possible. This was a disappointment! Unfortunately, we had a lot of noise disturbance (we were on the first floor and could literally hear what people above us were saying), which made it difficult to rest properly. Another area for improvement is the lighting. It was too dark in the bathroom, and there wasn't enough ambient lighting in the room itself."

"It's close to the airport, I was able to check in online myself. The front desk receptionist was kind and friendly. The room was nice, it has all the necessary amenities such as a mini fridge, coffee and tea maker. It has a decent sized tv (not that we used it, but still). The shower was nice, the pillows and bed are heaven!  The rooms are soundproof. We are definitely going back again."

"It was a good experience but the location was the middle of nowhere, there were no nearby shops, just a casino. It was far away from the bus stop, The hotel is great for 1-2 days maximum. Overall service was amazing, the staff were great and were polite But the room's window was jammed, and our tv wasn't working either and the curtain was jammed"

"I was extremely satisfied. The room was spacious and even came with a balcony, which is a rare find. The airport shuttle service was also incredibly convenient."

"Near the Schiphol airport. Just 1 train stop away. Staff are kind and efficient. We were able to check in early for only 10 euros. Breakfast is delicious. The room is big enough with a kettle, cups, glasses, coffee, and tea. There's an iron, an ironing board, and a hair dryer. You can also leave your suitcases safely. Parking is free too. We had great stays and will for sure stay again in the future. Thank you."

"I enjoyed my stay, we arrived early and we were able to check in. Rooms were ok, twin beds, shower, tea station. There was a blow dryer in the room also, everything worked fine. Great location 10mins walk from the train station, one stop away by train to the airport and about 25 mins to Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was good also pastires, breads, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and beans and then fruit and cold meats."

"It's a budget-friendly option, but they don't provide slippers. The location is convenient, with a free airport shuttle. There's a McDonald's about 100 meters away. One night, someone tried to swipe their card to get into my room. A heads-up for check-in: once you're in line at the front desk, stick with it and don't try to switch to another agent, or you'll lose your spot."

"My husband and I were pleased to return each evening from all our busy day trips to this peaceful and quiet retreat. It seemed relatively new built. A free shuttle brings you from the airport on arrival. We booked uber for our return trip to the airport as the shuttle does not start until 5 am but we had to be at the airport by 4am and had a large suitcase as well. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the local train/bus station where we could make our daily excursions from each morning. There is a good network of transport so we had no problems going anywhere. A direct bus takes you to Keukenhof park from the bus station. The rooms are cleaned on request when asked the day before. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly. However, any requests made took time to be heard and considered. I needed to request an extra pillow (otherwise it is only one pillow per person). Despite frequent reminders, there was no success I had to keep using towels or my clothes to raise my head but kept asking and perseverance paid off finally on the third night!!! The breakfast had a lot of vegetarian options (but not halal). I particularly liked their dispensers for fruit jams and condiments etc. The bar is open until 10 pm serving drinks. The hotel was very popular with big groups of tourists as it offers good value for money compared to the very expensive hotels near the central stations. The only drawback is that there is no activity in the Hoofddorp area itself. Overall it was good value for money and a pleasant stay."
