"Giving a five-star review overall. My three-day, two-night stay, including breakfast, was largely satisfactory. There was a minor incident during my stay, but it was promptly and appropriately handled thanks to the timely communication and intervention of the staff, especially the duty manager, Wendy. Her handling of the situation demonstrated excellent customer service professionalism: strong service awareness, great communication skills, clear direction, promptness, decisiveness, and genuine sincerity. Highly commendable! The hotel's hardware, particularly the carpet style, makes it feel a bit dated. Overall, I'm satisfied!"

The new Chinese-style decor is classic and grand, and the guest rooms are spotlessly clean and bright. All facilities are well-maintained and fully equipped. The entire staff provides warm and attentive service. There are also various complimentary self-service teas available in the lobby. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Chaozhou! 💯"

"The room layout was well-designed, and the window faced the sun, providing good ventilation. The bedding was clean and hygienic. Hot water for the shower came quickly and was consistently stable. The air conditioning was powerful and quiet. The whole room had excellent soundproofing; I couldn't even hear footsteps in the hallway at night. The room came with a sofa, chairs, a table, and a large high-definition TV. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and fast. The staff were polite. If you needed to do laundry, you could contact the front desk, and they would arrange for pick-up and delivery, which was a fantastic service that not all hotels offer. In the evenings, many people gathered downstairs in the lounge area on the first floor. There, you could enjoy several different herbal teas, read newspapers, and listen to guzheng performances. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience!"

The hotel is relatively quiet at night, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is very convenient! The bed is large enough and the firmness is just right, so you won't wake up with a sore back! The toothbrushes provided by the hotel are of good quality! The courtyard on the first floor of the hotel is small, yet elegant. There's a free coffee machine at the front desk, and you can choose one breakfast item upon check-in! The owner even helps with luggage, the service is fantastic! It was a great travel experience!"

"The past few days in Chaozhou have been scorching, with temperatures at 36°C and a 'feels like' temperature of 43°C – absolutely sweltering! The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra power card, so every time I returned drenched in sweat from exploring, the best part was being greeted by a blast of cold air and a chilled bottled water from the mini-fridge – pure bliss! The reception area also had a fridge stocked with plenty of complimentary bottled water, which was a very nice touch. Inside the room, there were some local Chaoshan snacks, which were quite tasty. When I inquired where to buy them, the hotel even had an auntie bring us more to sample – I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about 100 meters from Kaiyuan Temple, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions like the Ancient City, Guangji Bridge, and Xima Road. I even walked to Guangji Bridge three times in one day and didn't feel tired. There are also plenty of food options and souvenir shops nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pillows were very comfortable. The lovely ladies at reception and the cleaning aunties were all very warm and provided excellent service. Because the heat was so unbearable, I decided last minute to have lunch at the snack shop right next door. I ordered Chaozhou braised platter rice and pig offal kway teow, and to my surprise, they were incredibly delicious – tasting just like traditional home-cooked Chaozhou food. The pig offal kway teow had a light flavor, and for only 15 yuan, it was packed with ingredients; adding black vinegar elevated the taste even further. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!"

"Our stay here was fantastic overall. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and polite, patiently answering all our questions. The surrounding area has excellent amenities and is very convenient for getting around. The bed was soft and comfortable, the environment was quiet, and it offered great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone. Although it's near an elevated highway, the soundproofing is excellent, so unless you're extremely sensitive, you won't really notice any noise. The hotel is also very close to several intangible cultural heritage food spots, such as Sunan Qinji's braised goose main branch, Chaoludao Braised Hotpot, and even Dongshi Kaixing Congee – super convenient! The hotel's robot delivery for takeout was also very quick. Highly recommended!"

"After a lot of searching, I finally decided to book this hotel. I didn't have high expectations, but my stay was absolutely fantastic. First off, the location is great, making it super convenient to get around. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to Chaozhou Ancient City's Paifang Street. We booked a family room, which had a special卡通(cartoon/themed) setup that our little one absolutely loved. The room itself was very comfortable, bright, and well-ventilated, with no strange smells. The mattress was a Serta, and it was the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. The soundproofing was also good, and I slept wonderfully all night. The gym and laundry room are also a big plus, and I loved the overall style of the place. The staff were very friendly and polite; they greeted us every time they saw us and were highly professional. No regrets, it was a truly enjoyable trip. Highly recommend! Highly recommend!"

"Traveling to Chaozhou with two adults and two children, choosing the Manxin Hotel Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street was an excellent decision! The location is superb, within a ten-minute walk to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge. It's a quiet haven away from the bustling streets of the ancient city. The room was spacious and clean, with smart home devices throughout, and the double-layered soundproofing was very effective. The bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful rest for the children. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactively recommended local delicacies. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly cooked Chaoshan Guotiao (rice noodles) were authentic and delicious.
