"We had a good time at this hotel for 1 week. The room we had was too small for any longer a stay. But it was inexpensive. To stay for longer, you would want to book one of the junior suites for sure. The beach is lovely, and the location can't be beat. Food in the restaurant was okay, but many more food opportunities in the area."

"Our room was 2 feet from the elevator in the main lobby! We can hear every single person talking and walking by our door as well as kids screaming because the ice cream shop was 15 feet away. The amount of pressure they are putting on every single guest to go and attend the timeshare promotion is unbelievable. If you attend, usually they give you some decent gifts. We get a $200 voucher to spend on the food and drinks. Most of the time they didn't want to take vouchers, or you had to spend the whole $50 at once because the rule was not money back. So if we spend $30 or $40 we have to give them $50. The food was everything but good. The promotional taco dinner was disgusting, with dry fish, beef with no flavor, and dry and overcooked chicken. And they didn't accept vouchers. I went back home with an unused $50 voucher in my pocket because I couldn't use it. Ramon and Martin from the front desk were the nicest, warmest, and friendliest people I ever met. All the servers and workers are very hard-working people."

"They were having a power disruption (only partial power) when I arrived for check in. Things happen; but the way they were dealing with it was exceptional. The desk staff did everything they could to minimize the impact to the arriving guests until full power was restored. The only problem I had was that Trip stated they have an airport shuttle. They did not.  It seems that may have been canceled recently (benefit of the doubt) and Trip has not updated their information. That may be more Trips’s failing more than the hotel. It seems the responsibility of keeping Trip’s information accurate falls on Trip, not the individual vendors."

"Pros: - Good location - Huge rooms - Close to Malecon Cons: - Too crowded - Noisy - Only real option for lunch is their buffet place - Pool is not clean - Time share - Staff could be a little more friendly - Buffet is too busy/crowded We had paid via Trip.com for the room with breakfast buffets included. The check-in staff said the payment has not been done and we still had to pay for the room and buffet separately. After 2 hours of confusion and waiting with a 1 year old, it was finally resolved. The staff did not feel sorry or apologize at all for their mistake. "

"Pues como empresa que requerimos la factura; la empleada que nos atendio una cubana o no de que pais es nos trato muy mal, que ella no podia facturar que lo viera con trip; hable a trip y nunca contesto nadie que me apoyara. "The hotel's location is very convenient to everything; I only had one problem at checkout. The receptionist said the face towel was missing, which I hadn't used or taken, and she insisted I had signed a receipt stating it was there. I didn't count the towels; they just told me to sign a ticket confirming there were towels, the A/C remotes, and the TV. She was very rude, insisting on the towel. I asked her if she wanted to check my bags, why she needed a used towel, and then, reluctantly, she told me I could leave."

"The environment is very good, the airport is coming soon, and the facilities for the children to play are a pirate ship. The taste of the food is not bad. Japanese meal French meal needs to be booked one day in advance and only dinner is open. Can't live for three days! The facilities in the hotel room are slightly older. Later, I changed a little five-star hotel on the mountain, and you know that the original hotel is justified, even the color of the sea is different. Many families in this hotel come here. There is a free show at 9:00 pm... It’s boring to see it."
